we took our vehicle in to have the engine replaced. We were quoted a time frame of a week. The engine repair led to them having our car for well over a month to complete repairs. During the time it sat at the repair shop, it miraculously developed Three extra problems they wanted us to pay for before they would guarantee the engine replacement they JUST replaced. We could have repaired the 'broken' caliper ourselves at home versus paying extra to have them do more work that seems to only lead to needing more repairs with this place but then they wouldn't have backed their own work. But after we left FIRST the Ac didn't work, nothing wrong with it they forgot to refill it, we left again then the engine started shaking like mad they said the other caliper was also bad, in fear of them causing another costly repair we took our car and left. When all was said and done the cost to us was valuable time and more money than we were originally quoted. There was absolutely no communication from this place to us regarding the extra time or costs until we continually called week after week. All in all the worst experience in car repair to date. We will be leaving a negative review where available. Please spread the word about this nefarious company being clear this is NOT a trusted business.

My car had a terrible vibration/shaking when i drove it. It had gotten so bad it felt like the front end was just gonna fall apart. I had it towed to Expert Auto Repair. The men there were very thorough & informative. They kept me updated throughout the process. It truly feels like a whole different car! It's nice to drive and not have to hold the passenger seat because it's shaking so bad it's rattling on its track. It shifts so much smoother. I appreciate all the research, trial & error, and communication throughout the repair process. Honestly I had never heard of this business before. I knew it wouldn't go much farther without repair so I Googled the nearest repair shops near me. I read a lot of good reviews and felt confident that I was sending it to a great business. I definitely would consider sending my car to Expert Auto Repair for future repairs.

I located the gentleman on google. I was in from out of town and told him what my problem was with the car. He requested I come over and he would check it for me. He was fantastic! Fix the car in a short time and was very reasonable. The only regret I have is he lives 5.5 hrs away from me. He would be my go to if we lived near each other. Shawn was really nice and helpful. We thought our daughter was being scammed by another auto place. Shawn took the time and explained the issue and why it is so expensive, then he charged us $1,000 less than the "other" guys. Thanks for taking care of us!

After spending several minutes examining my car, the owner determined all I really needed was a new battery. And then he didn't even charge me for the diagnostic. I will definitely be recommending to everyone I know.

Very knowledgeable. Super friendly. Very patient and trustworthy. They went above and beyond to make sure i knew everything wrong with my vehicle and that i fully understood the diagnosis. Not money hungry , just genuine good people who want the best for their customers.

Wow. And awesome. I've been having difficulty with a 2003 Camry which was having what I and another repair shop thought were alternator problems, and everything seemed to point that way. The alternator had been replaced under warranty by the other shop two times, and one of those was with another brand to hopefully find a better alternator for that car. The problem only happened part of the time and not consistently. Sean, Muk, and their fine mechanics took my car for the day to monitor its performance. I was realistically looking at potentially needing an expensive OEM alternator to bring the performance of the charging system back up to specs. Muk called midafternoon to tell me that the problem was traced to a defective battery and that I could pick up my own battery if I wanted to. I thanked Muk and asked him for what the charge would be since his mechanics invested their time, Muk and San invested their time when originally talking to me, etc. Muk said there was no charge for their services for my car today. Wow. Awesome. And thanks!

Seen an ad on Facebook about them looking at your A/C for free so I decided to give it a shot. Majority of the local shops wanted around $150 just to look at it and they were all slammed. In less than 10 minutes Shawn was able to tell me that my compressor wasn't coming on. He went the extra mile to see if it was bad and it turned out to be good and that I was just low on Freon. Shawn told me to save my money and just buy a can of Freon at the parts store. I did that and it leaked out in 24 hours. I took it back for him to work on after his honesty on a Wednesday and got it back Thursday. They were able to find a few leaks and all wrong sized orings from the previous owner. He also found a bad relay for the radiator fan so my van wouldn't over heat. Now my A/C blows cold as ever and I'm 100% happy with the work and customer service. One of the VERY FEW shops that are honest and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back for anymore problems that I can't take care of and also recommend them to everybody!Service: Auto A/C recharge

Got quick and friendly service. Diagnosed my issue, got me prices for parts / labor separately, and there was a super friendly pup that greeted me on that day! Answered all my questions, didn't rush me. Will return and would recommend!

This company and the owner went above and beyond for me when he didn t even have to . Instead of doing what he could of done to make a lot of money , he told me he wanted to be a human first . I was sold a bad car and he spent a long time overlooking this vehicle for me . He called me personally on separate occasions to give me advice on what I should do . (Advice that won t bring him any money by the way) . Thanks to him I used the info he gave me and am now being able to be put in an even better vehicle . I can t thank you guys enough for your humanity and amazing customer service. If you re looking for a mechanic who s not only a business man , but a man who is an awesome human , look no further !!

Highly recommended! Our service advisor, Muk helped us handle a mysterious and difficult situation with our Hyundai Santa Fe.The Hyundai dealership was recommending some very expensive repairs and expert auto care was willing to do those repairs at less than half the price of Hyundai. However, the diagnostic computer was no longer providing codes to indicate the issue and the car was again running fine mysteriously. Muk could have advised on providing the costly repairs, but he did not because he saw no good reason to do so, and I really appreciated his honest and ethical handling of the situation.We were from out of town, and he could ve easily taken advantage of us, so I definitely recommend expert auto care as an honest and ethical auto care service. We proceeded with replacement of both O2 sensors as part of preventative maintenance and they did a great job, so I was able to drive the car back to Atlanta with confidence.

The owner took the time to come out to the lobby, sit down, and explain what was wrong, how it works, and what the fix will accomplish. He was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The receptionist was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. I have a neurological issue that causes me to short out mid sentence and entirely forget what I was saying or even the subject topic. That happened while on the phone with him, and he was so kind, compassionate, and patient. I found out afterward that he is the owners son. This is a family owned business done right. Both answered all my questions thoroughly. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly and saved me a lot of money. A previous mechanic told us something needed replacing (O2 sensor) that actually didn't. And did replace a part that didn't need it (Cylinder 4). It was acting up as a symptom of some other part (intake hose/boot was torn). Once the boot was replaced, the O2 sensor and the cylinder 4 misfire worked correctly again. So we can return the O2 sensor and didn't have to pay for the labor to replace it unnecessarily. The old mechanic we had apparently just runs the computer and replaces whatever it says. Instead of fixing/finding the actual problem. Hooray for this place, saving the day and getting us safely back on the road after about a month of car issues. I will be going back on Friday to have them repair something else they found today. A noise I'd been thinking was the exhaust for over a yr was actually a combo of the intake boot/hose being torn and wheel barrings being shot. We replaced the boot today. Wheel barrings Friday. Thank you, gentlemen, for not taking advantage of me just because I am female and don't know much about cars. We found our new mechanic, and will recommend to local friends. Keep up the great work, guys!

We had a van that had a cracked radiator and they were so quick to get it replaced and back on the road. A week later we had an antifreeze leak which caused steam to come through the vents in the dash. We called Shawn which is the owner of the shop and he asked us to bring it back in so he could take a look at it. He was actually able to bypass the problem and fix it at no charge which was unexpected for sure. Even trying to leave a tip for the work he didn't take it. All he wanted was a review. We had a check engine light come on while on vacation. The service men here were kind and very knowledgeable! He explained what was wrong in a very easy to understand way and we drove away with no bill! He said that we hit a bunch of water and said if nothing else was going on, it would be completely safe to drive. This repair shop was a pleasure to visit! We dropped in from out of town. Our car was running hot, so wanted to get a diagnostic. Shawn, the owner, assisted us and provided exceptional service. He was extremely knowledgeable on many types of cars and didn t charge us for taking a look at our car .and replenishing the fluid in our radiator. I highly recommend giving this business a shot!

Honest and reasonable. They go above and beyond to diagnose your vehicle and it's only 50 dollars for diag. The cheapest I've seen anywhere. A mechanic will personally ride in your vehicle and hook up the code reader and perform OEM checks while replicating the issue you have occurring to make sure they aren't "just throwing parts at it. Overall a wonderful experience.

Worst place ever.....an answer for your . If you don't have record why did you txt me. Your diagnose was wrong. My car needed to have both ball joints exchange. You have me an estimate for extra work. It did not need any of it. The car was not alligned after the ball joint was changed neither you told me that it was necessary to do it. You mentioned optional. It cost me two tires since the tires wear out since the car was not alligned and I drove with my daughter on wheels on wires. I have attached a picture of your txts. It seems to be you use the same answer and get upset over a review that we as customers we are entitled. I ask myself how many time you have done this. Thanks for telling via txt that you will put my vin # and telling me that it was "cowardly". It is my right to review you and give you the rating that I believe that you deserve. Please stop texting my phone. It is not professional on your side to contact the customers intimidate and tell the what the pictures that I have attached shows. It's not an alias that I use. It is my second name.Have a good evening

First experience was great! On the second visit, I was upcharged $200 over cost for a fuel pump that they can get for $120. They also charged two hours of labor for a job that took 20-45 minutes. The owner called and rudely told me to pick up my car because I bought the part myself. I will not be doing any further business with them in any capacity.

Left for vacay & our check engine light came on, went to our local dealer who cleared & said no big deal, almost 2 weeks into vacay light came on again, called local Ford dealer in Panama City who said couldn t help us for 3 WEEKS! What? So we called Expert Auto Repair, who analyzed it quickly & efficiently. He clears the code & reassured us that the issue at hand was not an issue for us while traveling! We needed that reassurance. BUT there s more! He refused to allow us to pay him! He said we only charge for good news that a car is fixed! Told us to have it fixed upon our return to our home. His kindness was greatly appreciated & the fun conversation while there was great! Thanks so much to this excellent business!

Took my car here they charged me 900 to barely even fix my car at all. When I came and got it dude straight up lied to my face saying everything was fine the technician fixed it and drove it and all . Couple days later my car messed up again I sent it back to them giving them the benefit of doubt they magically find 1400 worth of problems now. 1400 worth of problems I know are all fixed months ago. But before that everything was fine with it when I drove off with it. If you like getting ripped off this is the place to go

I paid $4,300 dollars for this company to repair my sons Jeep. New transmission, clutch, rear main seal, valve cover gasket etc. I called for warranty work and the owner immediately said I had another problem instead of saying let s look at it and see what s going on. Since he approached it that way I didn t take it back to him because he obviously does not stand behind his work. I just got my sons Jeep back from another shop fixing what he was paid to fix in the 1st place. Expert auto put in a new transmission but the shifter was about to fall out because it was so loose. The bolts that bolt the transmission to the rear differential were hand tight causing it to leak fluid. They had to re-do the seal on the oil pan as it was leaking as well which Expert auto done this as well. If you want your vehicle repaired properly the 1st time then this is not the shop for you! He seemed like an honest guy until you call him about problems with the work he done then he wants to say you have other issues without even looking at the problem! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. I will file a complaint with the BBB which kinda does no good but that s my only option! Having to have another shop fix what I already paid this shop to do is sickening! So don t waste your time with a crook like this as he does not do quality work nor does he stand behind his work.

I went in for a free a/c system check. Turns out my system was very low on refrigerant. Instead of taking my money and putting a vacuum on and adding the refrigerant, I was told to buy a cheap can, add it myself and make sure the compressor kicks on. That all checked out so I went back in and he used this neat tool to find the source of my leak (under my dashboard of a 32 year old car!). He gave me my options and informed me of some drawbacks to each. We decided it would be best to leave it as it is. My guy saved me a ton of money and showed his integrity. He could have taken me through the ringer right then and there, but instead he insured that he build a reputation as being honest and knowledgeableService: Air conditioning

My husband and I were on a road trip when we noticed a squeaking noise our car was making. We saw reviews of Expert Auto Repair and decided to try them as we were passing through the area. From the time that we first spoke with someone on the phone to when we were walking out the door after getting the vehicle checked out everyone we talked to was professional, friendly and honest. If we lived in the area this would undoubtedly be our go-to auto repair shop. We can t thank the guys at Expert Auto Repair enough for getting us back on the road with solid peace of mind.

Took my car in for a coolant line leak and it turned out to be a major problem that couldn't be fixed in the time he had available between jobs. He did however get it where I could get back home and not worry about it. Was very professional and very knowledgeable with the information and explanation he gave me. Would highly recommend and if any future car troubles come up while in town I will certainly be using them again!Service: General repairs & maintenance
