If I could give Custom Marine 100 or more stars I would. The entire experience from the initial phone call to the day I picked up my skiff was a great experience. JR and Ed were transparent throughout the entire process. They were patient with my limited knowledge and took the time to explain every question I had AND answered questions I didn't know I had. I also want to give a shout out to the techs who performed the work. They did an amazing job. I greatly appreciate everything Custom Marine had done. I will definitely continue to use Custom Marine in the future. They have earned my business for years to come.Services: Tune-ups, General repairs & maintenance, Accessory & electronic installations, Water pump service, Engine repair, Battery inspection/service, Hydraulic line flush, Boat trailer service, Oil change

Eddie Nelson the parts manager went above and beyond to help my husband find parts for his Suzuki df15 outboard. My husband must of talk to this gentleman 20 times and Mr. Eddie never lost his cool, continued to help my husband at a steady pace. Same as the last review. From my initial contact every thing was straight forward, above board and simple.JR and Eddie always had a smile and an answer no matter how stupid or repetitive my questions got.The workmanship by the techs is great.My next motor will come from Custom Marine Service. I'm glad I found such a great and trustworthy shop/dealer locally. I left there thinking that my money was well spent.PS. JR, thanks for the scalloping insights.

Recently repowered my boat with a new Suzuki from Custom Marine Service. JR and his staff were phenomenal! They made the entire process from start to finish smooth & easy, their pricing was very fair & transparent no surprises. Had my old boat re-powered by JR at Custom Marine Service. All work was done as promised and the boat was cleaner when I picked it up than it was when dropped off. Great place to do business with and I would do it again.

Custom Marine did an outstanding job installing my new Suzuki 90hp motor. They did it in a timely manner during peak season. This was a large purchase for me so I was cautious, but they did not put me under any high pressure sales tactics. I feel like I have a product that will last me several years.

Very professional team at Custom Marine Service from start to finish of my Suzuki re-power, I would highly recommend using them.There were no undiscussed, hidden surprises; every aspect of the project was discussed in detail before, during and after.The property was secure for leaving my rig and the shop is well maintained.

I called Custom Marine over the New Year's holiday & left a message concerning bringing an outboard motor to them to see if it was running. Early on the day they returned I received a phone call from JR & he said I could bring it in anytime. I actually met with JR & shared what I knew about the motor (it was given to me). He was very friendly, attentive & helpful & after discussing the cost of running a diagnostic on it I felt very comfortable leaving it in his hands. I was told it would be a 3-4 week wait, which I was anticipating. To my surprise, I received a call just a few days later with the details & cost of the work that needed to be done. I asked for a day to consider the cost & after talking to several folks who know about boat motors (I know almost nothing), I was assured the prices for labor & parts were very reasonable & I decided to let CMS make the repairs. Less than 2 weeks later I received a call that the motor was ready to be picked up. I told JR I would come & pay for the repairs, but I did not have a boat yet nor anywhere to store the motor. He told me it would be no problem to leave it with them & there would be no storage fee! I have to be honest & say I have not run the motor yet. However, I am very impressed with every aspect of my dealings with CMS & I would highly recommend this business! Once I get this motor on back of a boat & in the water, I will post more. Thank you to JR & Custom Marine Service for their good old fashioned local business!

I took my 36 year old (owned since new) boat to Custom Marine to have it refitted with a new 90 HP Suzuki. I was so pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of JR and the Custom Marine team. The quality of work and attention to detail was amazing. The boat performs beyond my expectations. They stayed on budget and I was not expecting the extras they included.

I called Custom Marine about the availability of a new motor. The person that answered, now I know as Eddie, followed up with the owner and I got a call back the same day, as promised. From there these folks have been nothing but strait shooters. They even gave me a manufacturers discount that I wasn t even aware of. I look forward to a long term relationship with Custom Marine Service!

I called very late Friday 7/1, knowing it was a shot in the dark for a specific Suzuki part, the person answering the call was incredibly helpful and patient (friday before July 4th weekend) They had the part and i couldnt make it before closing so he agreed to let me pay for it and "hide" it outside for me. When I arrived (45mins) after closing he was still there making sure i found the part. What a great person and great service.. Thank you Custom Marine, I will bring all my business to you now.Joe

I had a pleasant experience buying my Stott Craft 17 in 2019 and I bring it in every year for easy annual service. Thanks to Custom Marine, I'm out on Shell Island every weekend!

I can honestly give JR and his business a 10+ rating in service, workmanship and a helpful friendly staff! They really went the extra mile in the work they performed on my boat. I just wish I lived closer to PC but believe me it was worth the long drive!!! AWSOME folks to work with!

I have used Ronnie & JR for more than 15 years and their work and prices are second to none. Outstanding service & unbeatable price on new Yamaha 200 HP repower for my 22' Proline CC. Very honest folks. Very pleased knowing they Service what they sell and jump on needed repairs without excuses!

My child and I (the ONLY customers there) shopped around and waited for about 15 minutes trying to get information on a boat. Called (Sign on the door said Information by phone at this time) and no one answered. Waited a little bit longer hoping to receive some help and nothing. A gentleman pulled up as I was walking to the car and got immediate service. Not all customers are treated equally at this business. I will GLADLY give my money to anyone but them

All round great customer service Mr. Eddy was very informative of what was wrong with my boat motor and they were quick in the process of ordering the parts and repairing it Mechanics are top notch and know what they are doing Great turnaround time I had a set time when I needed this boat for a hunting trip and they met that mark will Continue to use them for future needs and will definitely recommend them to anyone that needs work done to a boat
