I had little hope for our 2006 Mountaineer ever running right again after it started shifting very hard and wouldn t stay in overdrive at about 100k miles. It took Bills Transmission about 4 days to tear it down, rebuild it, and now it s driving as smooth as the day we bought it. It s been about 4 months now and it s still running great. I really appreciate the effective communication and the professionalism of the staff.

This business is very professional and friendly! I received constant updates regarding my vehicle which was amazing to hear. The owner handled my aftermarket warranty for me which is top notch service. I personally understand the headaches involved with any type of warranty because that s what I handle at my job primarily. And they are headaches, always have to jump through hoops to get something covered just to take care of the customer. If I ever need further work done to any vehicle I own that I can t handle or don t have the time to do I will absolutely bring them to this shop again!

10-10 would highly recommend. I've used them twice ( for my step-daughters car) and each time they have got her back on the road quickly. Transmission runs smoother and shifts quieter than when we got the car. Took my truck there to get fixed ended up needing a new transfer case and they had it done in a timely manner and a reasonable time great guys. PS drove back to northern Indiana the day after it was done with 0 issues thank you to all the guys there

As of right now my 2017 F-150 has never driven better. We had an overheating transmission problem caused by a faulty torque converter. With 166k miles on the truck I debated replacing it with a new truck or repairing it. It wasn t cheap but I decided to redo the transmission, add a cooler, full tune up (plugs and coil packs), cooling system flush and oil change. I pray that it stays running perfectly and that my camper pulls easily.

Just had my transmission done in my chevy high country. All I can say is awesome work.My truck runs better than it ever did. Very happy with the service, and everything was done in a timely manner.And Brandon is just a real great guy. I will be back.

They found an issue with the Jeep no one else was able to diagnose and ended up saving me $3,000. They do amazing work and made sure my Jeep was good to go for another cross country trip. Will definitely be taking my other car to them for its next routine maintenance.

Brandon gave us peace of mind when providing quality service for my daughter s Tahoe. They rebuilt the transmission, replaced the rear brakes, and honestly explained that the power steering was not leaking and did not need replacing.(had been told it was by another company) Honesty, fair pricing , trustworthy. Had an issue with a transmission leak and after attempting to fix it myself I admitted defeat and called Brandon. They were able to tell me what was wrong and solve the problem without replacing my transmission And did it for a very fair price. I would recommend anyone take their vehicle to Bills for service needs. And that's coming from someone else in the auto industry.Service: Transmission

Well deserved 5 star. This place showed me there were still good people/shops around. Had this place basically rebuild my Allison trans, they got it done in no time. very professional, polite, and put out quality work. Someone even stayed after hours to make sure I drove out of there the day it was done when I was having issues with my bank!! I don t think I could have chosen a better place to go. I've been meaning to post a review for a few days now. These guys are Transmission Masters hands down! They rebuilt the trans in my work van about 2 weeks ago. It runs better now, than it did when I bought it. They completely took it apart, and rebuilt it in no time. I will take my vehicles to these guys for the rest of the time I live here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! We were from out of town and on vacation when our car broke down and they went out of there way to help us and fix our car even though they are always busy they got us fixed up and back on the road as fast as they could. They went out of there way to make sure, knowing we had to drive back home pretty far, that it was also safe in a lot of ways to go the distance. They also saw a bad tire we had and didn't realize so they got a new tire and changed it for us, which I think was a parting gift since we annoyed them so much calling Wish they were closer to our end because I would bring any vehicle i needed work done on back that I had an issues with for sure. Great people great service great work. I want to thank you all again for everything you did from Florida to Kentucky and back from the Robinson clan

Recommended by our regular auto repair shop for work on our 2001 F250 Super Duty after the transmission went out. A rebuild was completed and they did a great job. Transmission performs better than when new. This is the best place in the area for transmission work! Brandon and the team there are really great.

Brought in my Audi A4 for a new transmission. I took it to 3 different shops before this one and they all tried to screwed me over but Bill s Transmission was super honest and the price point was really great. Transmission runs amazing and feels like new. Currently getting a wheel bearing and ball joint replaced and I m definitely going to keep using them in the future! These guys are great! They kept me informed throughout my repair. Very professional and friendly. Much better experience at Bills than at other shops I ve previously dealt with. My car shifts so much smoother! Very pleased! Definitely recommend them to anyone.

Manager Brandon scheduled my transmission install within day of it arriving at the shop from the reman facility. The install came off without a hitch within the time frame I was quoted, and the price was very fair. Also, Brandon answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. I would recommend Bill's Transmission for any transmission work.

My 4-runner was making an unusual noise. Brandon took the time to research and found out what was wrong when no one else could figure out the problem. He has also changed my oil on several occasions, and other general maintenance. When I go in, Brandon and his father, Bill are always eager to assist. It is nice doing business with local family owned businesses. I would highly recommend them.

If everybody were as good at fixing vehicles as Bill's Transmission is nobody ever complain about anything. I had my transmission serviced it runs smoother now than when it was brand new.

Due to our present supply predicament, some parts are slow to arrive, but the personnel are top-notch, honest, professional, knowledgeable, and above all PEOPLE FRIENDLY. You won't be disappointed on those terms, but some import cars may expect lengthy delays in getting parts - not their fault. Recommended!

Took my vehicle in to Bill's Transmission in Panama City, Florida and asked them to have a look at it because it was making a very loud noise from the rear end. I had already had a diagnosis performed at another shop, who recommended that I take it to Bill's. I knew that my pinion and bearing needed to be replaced. After a couple of days of not hearing from them, I finally called and the person on the phone informed me that indeed my pinion and bearing was bad, but that I also needed to replace or rebuild the rear end, because if they just replaced the bearing, the noise would not go away. I agreed to have them rebuild the rear end instead of replacing the entire rear end with a used one. It took them about a week to repair, and with no communication aside from me calling them to get an update on when the repairs may be complete. After paying them $1800 for the repair, 2 months later, the noise is back and as loud as ever. It was a little noisy the day we picked it up, but not as bad as previously. After only 2 months I am dealing with the same exact loud noise as before, and I am not about to pay them another $1800! Bill's came highly recommended from many people that I talked to in Bay County, but I am not the least bit impressed.

I have always experienced excellent customer Service. They explain the issues and always call to consult with me once they determine the problem. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else in Panama City. It is family owned and operated and they take pride in Customer satisfaction

Brought a transmission in on a Tuesday. Guy said it would be done the following Monday and they would call. Okay, fine. We get it. They're busy and it would take longer than the usually 2-4 days...Monday comes around and no call. Tuesday, no call. Wednesday WE finally call them and they say it is not done, had an issue with getting the parts or something and that it would be done the FOLLOWING MONDAY.Okay.. fine. Fine. Somewhat understandable.Well Monday comes around again, no call. So Tuesday WE call THEM again. Guess What? Still not done and won't be done until THURSDAY. That's 2 and a half weeks folks!! When we were initially told 6 days.It takes 2-3 days to pull it apart and put back together. We took it up there already out of the truck, all they had to do was take apart and put back together. Ask any mechanic. Even though they were busy, it SHOULD NOT have taken that long. Or they should have told us up front how long it Would be. Would of taken it somewhere else if we had known. We were borrowing someone else's car and husband took off work that day to put the transmission back in the truck but could not because it wasn't done, 2 weeks after we brought it there! Super unprofessional would not recommend.

Came in from out of town and my Corvette broke down, I brought it in on a Monday and they had it all patched up by Friday Morning. Shifts smooth and drives like a dream. Thank you everyone at Bills!! Owner and staff were extremely friendly and took care of me! 5 stars with out a doubt

They took over a week to give me an estimate. I authorized the work, but it took 5 days longer than they told me it would. No one would ever call me and update me on anything. After it was finally fixed, I go into to pick up my car, they gave me a price that was $111.00 higher than what the owner told me it would be (in his words, "This price is firm"). Then, the guy Brandon at the front desk was so RUDE. I was giving him over $2,000 and he acted like I spat in his face. He never once thanked me for my business nor apologized for the misquote, nor the delay in the repair. And to boot, I drive off and my speedomoter isn't working. They never hooked the cable back up. My exhaust has also been backfiring, as they took it off and didn't weld it back properly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. They are unappreciative, rude and unprofessional.

Honest, expert mechanics. Brought my BMW in and they did a thorough check. Spent a lot of their time. Diagnosed an engine problem and charged me nothing. I offered to pay something but they refused. Recommend highly.

Ten Stars if I Could! 100% Recommended.I asked a half-dozen locals (friends and family) for there recommendations. Bill's was the unanimous response.Keywords: THE BEST, quality work, well run, reasonable cost, experienced techs, friendly, respectful, trusted, confidence, no "surprises", etc.Bill's Transmission is a locally family owned and operated business (2nd Gen managed, 3rd Gen "on the job training"). I quickly saw the honesty, care, quality and performance that reflects Pride-of-Ownership.The shop is VERY busy! Make an appointment and get there ON TIME, or early. Waiting area is small - inspections and routine maintenance can be relatively quick. Just remember, automatic transmissions are complex, bordering on magical! Even for experts, like those at Bill's, quality work takes time and money.
