What terrible customer service. I went in with a blown tire. I had called and they told me they had two tires for my car, but if I wanted to make sure no one bought them I needed to go on the app and purchase them, so I did. I limp in after work on my spare to have the tires installed and expecting to purchase 2 more. I didn t even get to the door before the old grouchy manager starts yelling at me that there is NO way he had time to change my tires today and that I will have to come back tomorrow. I live 20 miles away and feel very uncomfortable driving on the spare, but my safety wasn t anything that he was concerned about. He just kept repeating that they closed in an hour and a half and he didn t have time. Even though he had the tires. All I can say is that his behavior must be acceptable to the management of the store or he wouldn t be there. He is a horrible customer service representative and I will never recommend that store for anything ever. I guess it s a good thing there are tourists because that means there are always fresh faces to treat like trash on a daily basis.Never again!

My first time to the auto center for an oil change. I requested a specific worker based on his expertise at an earlier visit having to do with a battery.Anyway, I was told that he was not assigned to come in for another hour, so I opted to wait and changed my appointment for later.I came back and the garage manager sternly told me that it didn t matter how long I was prepared to wait. He said that the appointments are randomly assigned and that s just the way it is.I told him this was nonsense, took my keys back and went to another garage. I ll never patronize their auto services again. Good grief!

Staff are friendly but just be aware that this is first come first serve so the earlier you come the quicker you'll be seen. They cannot guarantee how busy they will be. I was waiting at opening and as the first person in I got my oil changed in twenty minutes.

Hours says auto center open til 7:00 just got told they are closed at 6:30 here in PcB in Destin got told only appointments can be seen. So Walmart auto center is not the way to go anymore. Apparently they don t want business. It s honestly ridiculous and be told they open at 7:00AM why would I even come back? When you lie about your hours because you don t want to do the work. Even has a sign posted outside that says 7:00AM-7:00PM so it is what it is I won t use them anymore I d rather pay 20.00 more and just use firestone but it would of been nice if Walmart would make a statement saying hey our workers don t want to work the hours please go elsewhere instead of waiting 10 minutes to be told they closed early

Had an emergency after work and David, Brandie, and the other two mechanics were patient, kind, and quick to help me even though I caught them right before closing time. They fixed my battery issue and I wasn t stranded in the parking lot. I m so thankful to the team! Thank you guys for being so awesome! Did nothing on the list they said. Was the oil changed and filter i think not? The tires were not aired up and exactly off. They did nothing on the list they said bi was the 3rd car arrived at 740am got out at 10am. The manager there let me set st counter for 30 minutes and would not come down so I could get a drink. Took another person not in dept to ring me up. Very rude. I would love to have this job. Do nothing all day and get paid. Sign me up. Lack of experience, customer service skills, and mechanic saying things in another language and breathing hard when someone asked for help. Go to the front we don't have a cashier right now. Made an old man carry 2 big batteries because he wouldn't call someone to help. Old man said he couldn't carry them. Then he said too bad you'll have to go up front or get a cart. When he was trying to get a battery in that dept. I have never experienced such disrespect in my life. I've used Walmart before. They never changed my filter. Air not done. Never did half on the list as I watched for over 2 hours hahaha on cars getting oil changed. 20 minutes in Callaway. Excuses is all they give. I will be filling a report with BBB and seeking a refund for the service not completed. Illegal services.Service: Oil change

The auto tech workers just seemed like they were lost and didn't know anything. I made my appointment the day before and picked out my tires. Well the day of the appointment they couldn't check me in, and then asked me if I had my tires cause I ordered them online. I was so confused, I was like I picked them from your on hand selection, so you have my tires already.Didn't give me clear directions on anything after finally getting me checked in. Just overall attitude everywhere in the auto bay. Also the windshield wipers I selected out of the discount bin were of course the wrong price. They wouldn't change it, said oops those weren't supposed to be in there.Now the new lady working the register in automotive was very nice. She clearly stated she was half trained and threw on a register. But she did her best to make the best of the situation. She made the process a whole lot better.

Needed a tire replacement. There were 3 employees working, but had to wait nearly 30 minutes before one of them came out to help me. That was only after the manager came out and told one of them to help me, as he had been inside the store. The lady in front of me had waited longer for help, but decided to leave since no one would help her.

A few weeks ago I had purchased a set of tires for my truck. I was in a hurry and didn t have much time to shop around so I chose Walmart since it seemed like they had the best prices out of the competition. I would soon learn that this was a mistake.The initial transaction was fine, a little bit of a wait but nothing that I didn t expect. However, as soon as I rolled out of the shop, I could tell something was wrong. There was a severe vibration from my wheels. Since I had brought it in on a Sunday, I had to wait until the next weekend to bring it back and have it looked at again. The next weekend I requested that they re-balance all 4 of the wheels, another 5 hours of my weekend was gone and the vibration was still there. The very next day I bring my truck in again and repeat the process, 5 hours of waiting. At this point the tech tells me that there is something else wrong with my truck but he can t tell me because of Walmart policy . So, if we re keeping count, I have almost 3 full days of waiting around in Walmart trying to chase this issue down and I m completely done dealing with these people.The next weekend, I decide to take my truck to a separate mechanic (Firestone on MLK blvd.). They were able to diagnose the problem in about 10 minutes, re-balance my tires properly, and have me out in an hour or so. If you are trying to decide where to go, I would HIGHLY suggest you go there instead.Now, if you re still with me at this point, I ll try and describe the issue that we found. If you look at the picture I have attached, you can see that there are multiple weights in multiple locations on both the inner and outer edges of the wheel. On top of that, there are old weights that were from the old set of tires still attached to a few of the wheels. This is NOT how you properly balance a tire. Rather than removing weights and starting fresh when balancing, the tech kept adding more and more weights trying to counterbalance the misplaced weights rather than trying to correct the issue.I know this turned into a long-winded review but I m just hoping to help some other folks avoid the same headache that I had when dealing with this. I would highly suggest that you avoid bringing your vehicle here, take it to a dedicated shop that actually knows what they re doing. You get what you pay for

Danny (and the auto crew) were amazing!!! Went in for a routine full synthetic oil change and after driving on the highway from Walmart I heard thumping on one of my tires after turning my radio down to listen clearly. I pulled over and noticed that there was some type of bolt in the tire! I called the center and explained the situation to them, and they let me turn around and have them take a look at it. They did their best to repair and patch it and I was able to return home safely with a fixed tire!!!

Dropped off two rims and was told a max of two hours to have tires mounted and balanced on the rims. Four hours later after watching most of the employees standing around on their phones. Needs better management. I m a understanding person and I know when shops are busy things can take longer but this was unacceptable.Service: TiresService: Tires

Waited 6 hours to replace ONE tire!!!! And I had the other tire! Never again! Called my roadside assistance and got it changed in 10 min!

Greeted promptly, treated well and service was quick even though it was lunch time and several employees were at lunch. Prices are very reasonable and they showed me the work they performed. Horrible experience. Was 3 in line at opening. I had a nail in tire and needed it patched. They let other people ahead of me, saying that they had appts. Well I found out hrs later, that they don't even accept apps, except for 4 tire change . Noone was getting 4 tires. Waited 4 hrs. Totally not a good experience .

Arrived at 7 am to Panama City Beach Walmart auto center but was told they didn t open until 8 so I sit in there waiting to have tire repaired while on our family vacation and at 8 was told I had to get in line behind 5 other cars but the employee working there never mentioned that, spoke to manager this is our policy extremely poor customer service . (Shout out to the sweet girl that tried to put me in front of line because no cars were here when I arrived) Customer service is explaining and letting customers know what they are suppose to do not being a smart Alec about policy. So disappointed and frustrated over a leaking tire on vacation.

They have always taken care of what we needed when we had tires we bought there. We don't buy tires there anymore, but we have had them install new trailer tires on rims for us this year and they were great for that as well. Quick service, friendly knowledge OUTSIDE staff.

Never called to let me know my car was ready. After 5 hours I called and they said it was ready. I get there and apparently my tire was unrepairable. No offer to sell me a tire, nothing. Then the gentleman was going to charge me for the repair. This was the third time I had tried to drop my car off. First time their compressor was broken and the second time no one ever came to the attendants hut even after I went inside and asked if anyone was there and was reassured there was. Other than that everyone is very polite.

I had to change a battery. The tire center was busy and I was told it would take three to four hours before they could get to my truck. But the mechanic stated that he would lend me the tools so that I could pull out the battery and do it myself. I had everything I needed to pull out the battery, bring it in exchange it and installed a new one. Would have gave 5 Stars if I didn't have to get greasy.

A little communication and personalization goes along way. Just sitting here in the lobby listening to every interaction.. They accepted a newer BMW for an oil change knowing they couldn't do anything... This poor lady waited 2 hours for them to say they couldn't do an oil change, because they didn't carry the filter or the type/quantity of oil?! Wouldn't they know that at the check in? The next person said they had been waiting for an hour for a battery check.....and were told only one car was in front of them. A truck delivering tires came (which all the workers had to stop and unload) thus setting everything back even more. The turnover seems extremely slow. I haven't seen a single simple positive transaction..... I'm thinking maybe they need to change the oil change to an Express service so you can actually see how many cars are in front of you.

The fellow who received me at the blue hut was lovely and it would have been great if the senior mechanic (?) had listened to his concerns. Arrived to get a tyre repaired, nice fellow had a look and said he wasn't sure whether it could be repaired and so asked one of the mechanics to have a look. When he arrived and glanced at the issue he said it could be and so left the car there (the nice fellow had warned me that a 4-5 hour wait was expected - so be it). A few hours later I get a call and am told the tyre couldn't be repaired and they also didn't stock that tyre. The staff in reception weren't exactly impolite, and perhaps Thanksgiving weekend and the chaos that follows was getting to them, but apart from that nice guy this morning it is difficult to find any positives in the experience.

My advice is get there as early as possible. I bought four new tires and had them put em on. Was confusion on which rim to put my spare on. I didn't notice the mistake until I got home but they did make good. Kudos to one employee especially, I think his name was Jeff. Had he not taken matters into his own hands it would have eaten up the entire day. You would think it would have been a simple fix but it wasn't until Jeff stepped in to help.

I dropped my car off at this location at 3:15 pm for a simple oil change with only 2 cars in the shop. It is now 6 pm and they still have not even started my car. I watched them take about an hour to change 4 tires with 4 people working on it and no one doing oil changed. It appears they are working slow to get overtime. The manager did not even compensate me any pay for my rediculous wait. Last time I will use this Walmart. The manager excuse was that "it is always like this one sunday". Ruined my whole days plans

I have been here twice this year and both times they have refused to work with me. A little over a year ago I had 265/35 s put on some rims, I come back recently to switch the same tires to some different rims and the Service manager told me that their tire machine can t do size 35 s because it s two small, I told him that they did the same tires before and he just told me he can t do them. And also another time earlier this year I tried getting my tires balanced and they wouldn t do it because the rear tires are wider then the front, also I purchased the lifetime balance the first time I went. I don t understand why they aren t allowed to take the tires off, balance them, and put them back on.

We took our 2 vehicles here over 2 separate weekends. 1 is a Benz and the other a Kia. Both needed 4 brand new tires (unfortunately for our pockets around the same time). We called ahead each weekend to discuss tire availability and given multiple options to fit each vehicle and our budget. We were then told about how busy the Auto Care Center was and that the lead time was 7+ hours. Not a big deal as we have multiple means of transportation in the household and can get away with being down 1 vehicle for whatever period of time.We showed up for drop off each of those weekends and were greeted in a professional and courtesy manner. We went over exactly what we wished to have done with the attendant who is outside, they suggested some up-sells (which companies don t) and were again informed of the long lead time. I was given a ticket and off we went to finish our other errands and head back home.We returned home to wait for our vehicle(s) to be done and ended up receiving a call each time a little ahead of the time quoted. We headed back to Walmart Auto Care Center, paid our invoice & picked up the vehicle(s). Both vehicles ride awesome and are ready for the move to Tampa. Service on each vehicle (oil change, topping fluids, multi-point inspection) was later completed at respective dealerships, so I cant comment on that aspect, but the tire service was fantastic! We paid a whole lot less on tires than we would have elsewhere (Especially the dealership. Quoted around $800 alone at Kia and at Walmart it was half of that).Yes there was a long lead time, yes we were plenty aware, yes we made other accommodations. If you re looking for ultra fast service, this might not be the best spot for it. Walmart is a huge corporation and everyone is looking for a savings somewhere. I would suggest maybe a weekday for service (if able) or elsewhere if the weekend is too busy (call ahead and check). Otherwise, if you don t have a time constraint, then this is a great spot for your auto care needs at a price that won t break the bank.
