Excellent service as usual. Professional, friendly and fair priced. These folks are outstanding, and have some of the best machinists in the panhandle.

Used Frimet for a four wheel alignment for my car after I installed adjustable camber, toe, and control arms. It was a dumpster fire. However, Frimet has a crew chief for a drift team that I spoke with and relayed my expectations. He has this car driving straight and handling wonderfully. Would definitely recommend these guys. A+++

I m a local and this shop is the absolute WORST. In all fairness, the owner seems like he tries to be a good guy but the rest of the staff is incompetent and they just make excuses over and over for not being able to do their job and not get anything done in the timeline they promise. Worse yet, the woman at the front desk straight-up lied to me.Go anywhere else.

As a single female, I've had my share of shady deals with auto mechanic shops. This is why I drive nearly 30 miles from home to have all my auto repairs and maintenance done by the good folks at Frimet to Z Auto Center. I am always greeted by Lisa's friendly smile and conversation when I arrive, and Herbie and his men are very courteous and friendly as well. More, they do exactly what needs to be done in a timely manner, and nothing more without talking with me first. The prices are more than reasonable as well. I am always pleased when I bring my car here and highly recommend these good folks to others.

These guys were awesome. They found a way to slot me in during their normally full schedule to replace our alternator. We were on vacation and needed the work expedited to be out of the rental we were in before the next family arrived. I am so appreciated that they were able to accommodate me and for the quality of the work. They even threw in a 10% discount! Friendly staff, too!

So very grateful to these folks! We were traveling from out of state and experienced some serious car trouble. Not only did they fix it efficiently, but it was also incredibly reasonable. I won t lie I had a huge fear that I could be taken advantage of being so desperate. That couldn t have been further from what I experienced! I m forever grateful for the customer service. I would not hesitate to give my highest recommendation to this shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Big thanks to Lisa and the crew at frimet to Z. We were here in PCB on vacation ended up having a flat . They had us fixed up and back on the road fore way less then other places quoted . I prefer to use the home town places over the big chain shops. Had a great chat with lisa while we waited . If you are in need of good folks to repair your car give these guys a call.

They do good work but if you need your vehicle in a timely manner you may try somewhere else. Kept my truck for over sixty days to replace two brake lines. Like everyone else they are having problems with workers. Charged me almost $700 after having to call multiple times.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Alternator went out on our truck, they were super busy but squeezed us on in so we could get back on the road. Very courteous, friendly and wasn't expensive.

5 STAR RATINGHad a slow leak today and I called Frimet to Z Auto Center and spoke with Lisa. Lisa indicated to be there in 1 hour. I showed up, joked with Lisa (she's really a nice person) and 20 mins later. I was driving back to beach. Thank you, Lisa and thanks to the rest of the Frimet staff that helped. Count me in as a new customer!Service: General repairs & maintenance

After the fuel pump failed on my Challenger, I called the local dealership and was told it would be 3 weeks before they could even look at it. Frimet was able to accept the car within a couple of days and I was driving my car again in just over a week. The car runs great and I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil changeServices: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

These guys are simply amazing. We're from out of town. We were vacationing in watercolor when my car completely overheated and broke down on 30a.The first two places nearby I called weren't taking any new customers. Then I spoke to Mike at Frimet to Z. He talked me through a few things. We got a tow truck and by the end of the next day that had fixed everything and we were able to go home as scheduled.Communication was awesome. Mike was awesome. Lisa was awesome. Herb was awesome. And I've been driving the car several days now and my car is now awesome.Whether you're local or out of town, I definitely recommend this place.

I used to do most of my own work on my vehicles, so I usually have an idea of what s wrong with my vehicle before I bring it into the shop. Frimet to Z has always told me almost exactly what I expected was wrong. These guys are honest, the staff is friendly and the prices are fair.

Great shop that did what they said they would for a reasonable price. Bobby got my project done (full exhaust replacement, torque converter install, fuel pumps replaced) in less than a week, with some challenges along the way. Great communication and they even stayed late on a Friday for me to pick it up! I'm a customer for life. Thank you!

Sons drove our car from Ky because it was more reliable (supposed to be anyway) and it ended up overheating once they arrived. Took it to these guys and they offered a quick fix to get it back home for under $125 or a permanent fix for under $350 including parts. Went with the permanent fix and have had no problems going on 5 months now. Saved our kids vacation by getting the car running again. Sons said they were very nice to deal with.

The people here helped me with a tire problem. They were obviously busy but took time to help me out anyway. They were thorough and communicative. They also aired the rest of my tires up properly and my van got the best gas mileage it's ever had! Really appreciate them.

The engine on my Yukon started to make a noise while we were on vacation. Our property manager recommended Frimet to Z, so I took the car over in the morning. Immediately Herbie said it was failed lifter and the repair would be extensive and expensive, but he would try one, less costly, thing before doing the full repair. The next day he called to say unfortunately it didn t work and would require the expensive repair. You never know if you can trust someone that you don t know but what he did next, should assure you that you can trust Herbie. Our car was just out of warranty, but he recommended I call the manufacture to see if they would cover all or portion of the repair. It s apparently a known defect or design flaw on the Yukon s. He said, if they did, they would require me to take it to a repair shop at a GM dealership. I called them, and they said I would have to take it to the dealership before they decided to help with the repair. I did that and sure enough they covered 50% of the cost. The repair had to be done at the dealership. I don t think there are many places that would recommend something that would cost them thousands of dollars in lost work. Herbie could have easy just done the work but he saved me a ton of money.

I used to go here pretty frequently to get my work done on my car. They were pretty good about keeping me posted on what was going on, but this past time, it was chaos for me. We are a one vehicle family and need our car quickly. I had made an appointment here a week out and when I dropped it off was told we never made it on the books. But I was assured that we would be taken care of anyway. I explained again that I would need to pick up my vehicle by the end of the day regardless if it had gotten done. No problem. I spend the day waiting to hear something from them and nothing. I call three hours until closing told it was not looked at yet but they would diagnose the problem and call me back. I let them know again that this is the only vehicle that my family has and I need it back today. If they can at least diagnose it then I'll come back another day and have the repairs done.I wait until thirty minutes before closing and decide to go back up there. My car still sitting where it was dropped off in the morning. I ask for my keys and was told they didn't know that I needed my car back. I told them when we called to make the appointment we explained this as well as explained it over the phone earlier in the afternoon and even upon drop off. They asked if I had made an appointment and explained that I had last week but it did not make it on the books. So I sat carless for the entire day, took off work for the day to get this done, and they couldn't be bothered to look at it. I gave them 3 stars for the good work that they've done on my car before, but I will not be going back.

Amazing place. Great office lady (so sorry I cannot remember your name) and an amazing owner. Very straightforward staff, fair prices and an amazing owner. I no longer live in town but will make the drive for their service. I have found my mechanic from here on out.

Having been a commercial diver, I was frequently working away from home. Finding an honest mechanic shop to send my wife to while I was away at work turned out to be quite difficult, on the flip side I am retired as a heavy equipment mechanic (CM) and a instructor who taught heavy chassis and brake systems at the Naval Construction Training Center in Port Hueneme CA. We present quite the challenge for the mechanic shops we use, they either get the simple preventative maintenance while I am away or the get the nightmare repairs that I don't care to do because I lack the facilities or time to do the work. We were recommended to use Frimet to Z after the oil cooler had been replaced three times in my wife's van by another repair facility; the ultimate result was the van overheating on a long trip cracking the head, yet another repair shop proving their incompetence. When I finally went to Frimet to Z, I had brought the van in a few items, then came the mysterious, occasionally the engine wont start, Mike the owner personally drove his family around in our van for a week to try and duplicate the problem and couldn't, He, I and the scanner had narrowed it to likely be the crank position sensor; at this point Mike told me the magic words to bring me the confidence, he was truly an honest shop. Mike told me I" can't prove that part caused the problem, it isn't acting up, there for, I have no reason to charge you to replace a perfectly good part." Ultimately I told him to change it and explained why I thought the crank position sensor needed to be changed, Mike agreed it was possible and changed the part. Well we never wound up stuck again in that van. Later I went in just before taking the truck on a long trip, I had figured on about $1500 in work for tires and replacement of the A/C blower and a couple other items. When he got done the bill was just over $800, what had amazed me was their take on the blower. They had ordered the part before I brought the truck in, as it turns out some packing material from either that other mechanic working on the truck or the manufacture when the truck came off the assembly line had worked loose and wound up in the fan. This was the perfect opportunity to gouge me for a new blower, I even told them I thought it was bad and to order a new one before I arrived, they charged me just a minimum amount of labor and returned the new blower and motor. Up to this point I have sent perhaps a dozen friends to Frimet to Z, no one has had anything other than praise for the work and fairness they are treated with.
