Ryan does a great job! It can take a few weeks to a month for your order to arrive, but it's totally worth it cause it's custom made-to-order!This sub box fits PERFECTLY in the trunk of my 2009 VW Jetta, very satisfied. :)

I bought the subwoofer enclosure from him for the 10" JL Audio. I added a grill to it, so I spaced the seat bottom up around 1 inch. It's being powered by Orion 225 HCCA 2 Ohm mono. It sounds great and the enclosure looks nice.

This guy is a bad seller. Small business owner with no intention of refunding money. Sent me a broken box and won t refund me after disputing charge and he is blaming shipping company and not correcting the sale. Won t trust this one! Don t be a victim like I was.

So I m writing this because Ryan doesn t like to stand by his work I brought my truck to him for the second time to do some upgrades unfortunately he took my truck knowing he was closing his doors instead he gave me line of sh.. that he was moving to a new location not true he had my truck for 2 week didn t complete the job I was told that he would finish it up in a few weeks at his new location again not true trying to get a hold of him. No call back no text back finally. I got an email with the truth that he shut the doors and went to work for some I understand sh.. happens but when you put all kinds of money into a system and it doesn t perform you d like to get some answers well that can t happen because he doesn t return phone calls and he has done the same to my sons truck so if you re considering using him to do anything do yourselves a favor, and don t he is trying to do online store selling boxes and equipment on line if he won t stand by his work for someone local why would he for a online order STAY CLEAR AND GO ELES WHERE YOU'LL SAVE YOUR SELF A LOT OF Aggravation

Ordered 2 speaker adapters for a MKV GTI. They're exactly what's needed to put in the aftermarket speakers I bought. They are in great condition and going to hold up perfectly. There was a delay in my order which I got upset about and the owner deserves my apology for previous reviews people may have read before updating this one. Taking a step back, this owner deserves these 5 stars because they followed through and kept in contact once I made my complaint clear. I'd always rather put my money in a custom or small business' hands rather than a large corporation. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for this kind of custom work. Will add photos when we get them installed.

Freddy and the rest of the staff showed these guys really care. A lot of these custom shops don t care about customer service but these people are genuine and extremely knowledgeable, they kitted me out with something within my budget.I am not the type to usually go to custom shops because Id rather save the money and install it myself but audio stuff has always been frustrating so I came in. They gave me a setup Id never be able come up with myself and I love it.Would recommend 10/10

Definitely not a company I would recommend to anyone. I made several phone calls per day to reach someone and never did I get ahold of someone. So I drove there twice and there was two guys in the shop working. I had said I've been calling and no answer. I had a box made for my truck and after several weeks I was able to get one made. The box looked alright, The holes cut out were to low and the subs were resting on the floor and then after everything was hooked up the box and sounded like garbage. I reached out to the owner and told him the issues and not very responsive about the issues. I had suggested to work this out and get a new box made right with no issues. Still to this day no response about a refund or a new box to get made . Definitely don't know what they are building.

After finding them on the Internet i called to ask what changes they could make for a more custom fit for my bmw. So we came up facing the woofers toward the rear seats at an v angle to put more sound into the car through ski port. What he sent me wasn't what i agreed over the phone and in a descriptive reminder at the time of purchase on the website. Once i contacted him about this his response was bass is omni directional and it should still be ok,so i test fitted the box and as you can see from the trunk looks perfect but there not even clearance for the woofers his response to me wanting to return it was push the box back witch would leave a gap around the edge of the box and get rid of that clean look in the trunk.so i guess i can take my box and jump in a lake.

Reading the reviews I decided to go to the shop rather than calling. I was in the market for a wireless CarPlay receiver for my car and had done the research. Without my mention, they asked the right questions about what features I was seeking and recommended the same unit I had decided on. The install was done a week later and exceeded my expectations. I discovered a minor issue the next day, drove to the shop and they rectified it immediately. They have a passion for car audio and it shows in their work.

SRQ Custom Autosound Honest Review: I came to Ryan with my boat and truck back in August two years ago. It was a full custom job and it took awhile to tell how well it would hold up. Not only did he meet my budget but he gave me an incredible deal, so cheap I m not going to put the price. He put four speakers on my boat and a very nice head unit that sounds amazing with a sufficient preamp as he explained. He also required my truck and got the buzz out of the door speakers. The work has held up and I almost feel like going back and paying him a few hundred dollars more. It s one thing when it s good out of the gate, but it takes a lot of skill to keep my audio 100% and never miss a beat over the long haul and with saltwater exposure. Thank you Ryan and crew, you are truly the best audio specialists in town!!

Quality of their products are good, that's when they decide to actually create products.SRQ Customs communication is absolutely horrible, the worst I've seen. I called several times within several days to make an appointment, no answer... drove all the way to their shop from North Port (1+ hours away) to find two guys lounging around "chilling".. talked to them, made a verbal appointment for a Monday, they did nothing within a computer system nor did they even write down my info. Within a two week period before the appointment, I had called several times...no answer, emailed several times...no responses, texted the owner's cell phone several times...no responses, left messages, no call backs...no responses at all. I can understand being busy that same day and getting back to me within a 24hour-48hour period...but 10 full business days and still no communication, that's pretty bad. I recommend anyone reading this to go to M&R Audio in Bradenton. Save yourself the headache and hassle.

We went to SRQ Customs to purchase a wiring harness for our new truck stereo. We pulled up and saw a couple if guys working in the garage and they both came out right away and not only gave us exactly what we needed but, they also explained in detail what we needed to do. I was very impressed with their service and knowledge! I highly recommend this place!

My Business Partner and I brought a 2016 Ford Transit Passenger Van to them to install a head unit 3 sets of speakers, subs, amps, and a backup camera system. The sales experience was stress-free. They were reasonable in their pricing and when we left the vehicle I was very happy with the process. But when I picked it up, I was blown away at the quality of work they had done. All of the components were hidden, giving it a more stock look, but when you turned the system on, it was incredible. I have been a local business owner for 20 years in Sarasota and can honestly say they deliver on what they promise. We will definitely be a repeat customer. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a upgrade in their automobile

This is the best audio shop in Sarasota. Takes time to get in touch with them but like many businesses in the area they are experiencing major delays and volume and are just pretty booked out. Be patient they will get back to you and believe me its worth it. They've done 3 of my Durangos. The third is an SRT Hellcat durango and the new power amp and custom dual 10 sub box is the best audio sound I've ever heard. SRQ was able to remove my trunk storage compartment without making any cuts to the interior and filled its space with a custom built 10 sub box, so my trunk is completely flat for any loading and the box does not obstruct trunk storage whatsoever. If you didn't hear it and I didn't show you, you wouldn't even know they were there. Best shop in town, 15/10 work!

Set an appointment 9 days in advance for an install in my new truck. I agreed to the time and price, and asked for details to be sent to me. Over the 9 days I called many many times, with no answer and I started texting asking if the subs we in and ready for install. The day of I finally get a reply of I don t have you in my schedule . I replied with details of our conversation and they never responded. As many reviews already state, this company is a joke and not professional at all. I m honestly relieved to be spending my money somewhere else

Awful business to deal with, no communication at all. Every call has been straight to voicemail with no call back from anyone. No responses to emails either. Ordered a loaded enclosure for my truck about a month ago and have no idea where it is at.Don t do business with these people, seems like they ll take your money and run

Wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. Paid $1,500 for speakers,subs, and an amp. Two weeks later after the installation they were blown. Thinking it was the manufacturers problem I got new ones but they then blew again a few weeks later. Now on my 3rd set of speakers and took my car to another shop where they told me the amp was turned to max power on every setting, instead of being properly tuned, causing all the speakers to blow. Would not return to this place or recommend

These guys are awesome. Their pricing can not be beat and my two hour time quote was completed in an hour AND they did another small install along with the scheduled service. Great staff knowledge, very clean and tidy shop and lots of options.No other shop in the area compares to SRQ Custom Autosound. Stop by, say hi and tell them what you would like to happen and they will make it work.Will be going back for any other work I need done.

I am extremely happy with the way my car system sounds!!! Ryan and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the final product! They easily offer the best solutions in town and at a great price. I recommend!! They are extremely busy so I would recommend texting the main phone number!

Bringing JOY to the Rock and Roll World! Second system installed by Ryan and his team for us. First was for an Infiniti G35 a few years ago and now a F150. This shop is just so impressive. Give Ryan your budget and he ll set you up with the best audio equipment possible. They know their business! Ryan s right hand man Cody did the honors on the truck and did an impeccable job on the install. He built and tuned a factory grade plus sub box from scratch for a Kicker L7T 10 and replaced the existing factory speakers with Arc Audio component speakers along with a pair of AudioControl amps. Night and day! Van Halen never sounded so darn sweet! System is completely dope!! Not only was the final job and system perfect, Cody went a long extra mile to get the project done on the promised date. He came in at 12 midnight and worked until 6am to get the job done on time. He had been pulling double duty for Ryan who was out for an unexpected absence. He went home to sleep for 4 hours and then returned to hand off the truck with a smile. You can tell he loves building these systems and takes great pride in his work. You won t find a better audio shop in the country, I am convinced of that 100%.

Ryan and his crew are just freaking incredible! We bought a 2 camera video system for the inside of our horse trailer and 2 fans. We brought them to Ryan to install. His first remark - we really don't have good luck with stuff like that. Well, he installed them anyway and wired the fans to 2 of the 4 factory auxiliary switches in our newly owned F250 4x4. He then placed the 10" color LCD display for the camera's, expertly on the floor in the center of the cab's front seats - totally out of the way. It's been over 2 months now and everything is still working perfectly. The wiring harness he installed in our Truck looks like it came from the factory, all the wires have a anti-rub sheath on them and it really looks nice. We can even unmount the LCD screen and hold it in our lap and watch the horses in the back. The wiring in the trailer you cannot even see. He ran conduit inside the trailer and again it looks like it came from the factory!!He and his crew did a incredible job and we would highly recommend him and his staff for anything!! Oh and by the way, he did this in 1 day on a very short notice right before his vacation - so he totally went out of his way for us! Way to go Ryan, will send you as much business as we can and thank you for getting done on such short notice.

Placed an order on the website, received email order confirmation and that was all. Waited a week for tracking or any kind of update. calling texting emailing messaging on social media no answers. After waiting 1 month I called my credit card company and opened a dispute, they advised the dispute would close if I got my package or if not I would get a refund. Next day I get a text from SRQ demanding that I close the dispute because he won't get paid, and stated that he had already shipped out the order/ package. The tracking provided had just been created fed ex had not received anything. After 2 months I have finally been able to text back and forth but to no avail. Will update if resolved. as of now this looks like a scam

They did some work on my truck and was very pleased with the outcome. Definitely will be coming back in the future for my work and referrals!Edit:Since the truck I've returned with a new vehicle, and the guys at SRQ Customs did another great job!

Not ever having done any audio work on my car, I didn't really know what to expect. I had called ahead for a quote, and the quote they gave me was what I paid. They replaced my two front speakers while I waited in their nice lobby it was great. Love my speakers and their service.

I spoke with the owner, Ryan Pepsin about an experience he had with one of his customers who also happened to be one of our employees. This employee of ours was wearing our logo at the time of the interaction. When asked about the situation, Ryan was up front, open and honest about the experience. As a fellow business owner, this open honesty and feedback is something I greatly appreciate. While we haven't used SRQ Customs yet for any fleet work, be rest assured we will be with our next vehicle. It's great to work with someone local who is open, honest and cares about image.

SRQ Customs installed a viper alarm and remote start on my Tundra pickup. They did a great job, and even drove me home and picked me up, saving $50 on a rental car. Very personal, great work, I'll be talking to them next week about parking sensors.

Return customer and completely satisfied. As always SRQ (Ryan) makes it easy and extremely reasonable to get your vehicle excesorized. Added a LED to my sons 4Runner that required some fabrication of the grille, not a problem for SRQ work was done and it looks awesome.They also added LED s to my Ford and the kit that was for my truck was off center. But again not a problem for SRQ, they made adjustments and made it better than the factory kit. Again awesome job. ThanksHighly recommendCJ

Great custom work on my 1954 Oldsmobile. The touch screen went bad during an engine rebuild and Ryan didn t hesitate to replace with a new head unit! Awesome!

A few months ago I brought my car into SRQ Customs to have the entire audio system upgraded. Immediately, I noticed a huge improvement to the quality and clarity of the sound in my car. Unfortunately, the system would occasionally shut off, sometimes for hours, and then come back on again, seemingly at random. As you might imagine, I was pretty irritated. I let Ryan know about the issue and he told me to bring the car by so he could have a look. It took an afternoon, but Ryan traced the issue to a short in one of the speakers, a defect from when it was manufactured. He swapped out the faulty part and had the system up and running again in no time. Now I'm back with another one of those block rockin' beats!
