Was looking for a trustworthy local mechanic and I think I found one. Lex s people call me and explained that some of the work I wanted done was not necessary. Save me a few hundred dollars. Who does that? Happy to find an honest shop with good ethics.

This is my second great experience with Lex's! Called them on Monday and they were able to get me in and out on Wednesday after replacing my front wheel bearings. Great workmanship I've become to trust above all others. Thanx!!

Always had heard how honest Lex s is. I had an electrical issue with my truck. They could have said I needed a new computer or alternator. Which would have cost hundreds of dollars. I wouldn t have known better. Instead they replaced my key fob battery for $7. Problem solved. Many thanks. Highly recommend!

I appreciate the care you took of my car. When I explained in my words what was wrong, you understood. You kept me informed what was going on. When it was done you explained in terms I could understand what you did! I would recommend you to others anytime!

Friendly location and good service. Repairs done timely at stated price. Don took plenty of time to make sure I understood the problems and repairs. I like their use of texting to notify me as well.

In Palmetto visiting. Our 2017 Explorer had what we thought was a bad AC unit. Lex s went through the entire vehicle. Found the problem was a bad tensioner for the serpentine belt. Serpentine belt also needed replacement. I was in and out the same day. Thanks for the great service.

Integrity and professionalism is everything! My elderly mother took her car for tire rotation a year ago to a local tire "kingdom" where she had bought her tires. They tried to tell my 90 year old mother she absolutely needed brakes immediately. She decided to bring it home and get my opinion It gave no indication it needed brakes so we waited. A year later she needed some other work done. I recommended Lex's. They took care of everything within the estimated price and within the time frame they had expected.They also looked at the brakes, measured the thickness, and told her she had twice the thickness of brake needed before changing the brakes. They could have sold us new brakes but did the right thing instead. Kingdom lost not only her brake business but our tire business. Lex's can be trusted to tell you the truth and to do it right!

I was very pleased with Lex Auto s performance, they were very professional and thorough. They gave me a list with things that I should do to return my truck to new performance. They also prioritized, what I needed to do first.

Being an older single woman i was worried when my air conditioner broke. No worries no price gouging(I called my garage back home). They explained everything. Pictures were taken. I would recommend highly. Friendly and professional.

Everyone I encountered at Lex s was friendly and knowledgeable. They addressed my issue and provided a list of other maintenance items that should be taken care of. They took the time to explain which items were critical, and which items could wait. I really appreciated the way I was kept updated on what was happening with my car. It s been a little under a month since the service on the car and it s running awesome! I m going to bring the car back to Lex s after 6 months, (sooner if needed), to see if the original issue has resurfaced.

Neil worked on my 2002 Toyota which had various serious problems. He did an excellent job and I am very satisfied. He kept me posted along the way, sending pictures and text s. I highly recommend Lex s shop to anyone needing a mechanic. Thank you Neil

I brought my car here BC of the great reviews. I found them to be too busy. For my first experience I was somewhat disappointed. I was told everything should be done, and after leaving my car there on my only 2 days off, leaving me stranded, I come to find out only 3 of the 5 services needed were done. And, I "only" had to bring my car back "one day" to finish. 'Good', I only have to lose one of my 2 days off next time! I'm going on a local trip, and I was hoping to make sure my car was in excellent shape!

I was very glad to find this shop off of 301 in Palmetto.Toyota told me I needed brakes and tires and other things for my 2019 RAV4.Lex's checked out my vehicle and let me know the brakes and car were good, I only needed tires.They ordered the tires I wanted and I was given a fair price for new tires and my vehicle was ready the same day they arrived.It's worth the 30 mile drive from my house to do honest business. If I need work in the future I'll go to Lex's.

Amazing service, I broke down on Friday and barely got it towed to the shop before closing time. Neal let me know that the tow driver was on his way and he would wait for me to make sure my Jeep was inside all weekend. Sure enough I got a text at 10 am on Monday saying they found the problem and it was ready to be picked up. Simple fix to a problem that someone else created. I don t hope for future problems, but if they happen I know who I m gonna call. Thanks again Neal y all are awesome!!

AVOID THIS PLACE!I spent considerable time and money with this establishment to repair the air conditioner on my Honda. They originally kept my car for better than a week to get the job done. 2 months later I return the car because my air conditioner is having issues. They had my car all day yesterday and didn t bother to call me once.I called them this morning to see if they were able to reproduce the issue and they said they could not. I don t believe they listened to my concern or tried to reproduce the issue.After the call, they called me back within minutes indicating that there maybe another part that is bad and it would be $370. If I wanted to proceed I d need to let them know, otherwise I can pickup my car before 4pm when they close.I took off work early, paid for Uber, to arrive at 3:42. THEY WERE CLOSED! I called and left a voicemail. It s Friday - I NEED my car for the weekend!This place seems to keep your car for multiple days as a standard practice. Communication is hit and miss. Don t be fooled by their AAA Approved status!
