They asked me to replace unnecessary fuel parts that were new. They gave me a long list of parts to replace. The issue was a minor fuel leak they wanted to charge me $1700. I declined when I got back my car and checked I found the parts they removed to diagnose the leak were not put back together the way they were they were lose and one screw was missing I won t trust these people they want to rip you off don t trust them at all they are not honest and reliable

I had my 2003 Yukon repaired at Ed s Automotive. They did a great job. Kept me informed of what was going on with my car and considering how much time they spent on my car the price was well worth. It will definitely recommend this place to other people.

As always great service with the added benefit of knowing that honesty and integrity is what I have witnessed at Eds. They stand behind their work !! They even assisted with securing towing to their shop at a fair price. I have always found their charge for repairs to be reasonable. My 2013 avalanche and I both appreciate Ed s !!!

Very unsatisfied with my visit here. I am a college student and came here because of my oil leaking. after many visits to and from many mechanics that i just don't have time to do multiple sources point to the work being extremely sloppy, quick, negligent, over charged, and ultimately leaving with my car in worse shape then when i brought it in. their best defense is " you asked for a specific part fixed" when in reality I'm 20 years old and know nothing about vehicles and named a part that may be the cause of the leak. By that logic they changed out a part that now I'm not even certain was necessary. They are happy to take your money. I now have paid nearly 3000$ to get my car safe to drive again when before hand I had no problems aside from leaky oil.

I needed some quick help with my car as I live up in Pa. Ed and his staff were quick to help. I was very appreciative of them being able to fit me in! I will definitely be back for routine work next year!!

Ed's automotive was referred to me by two different auto part stores and would be my go to spot going forward. They provided great customer service all around. They were very flexible and able to get me in the same day I called also very reasonable in price. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any auto services.

I wish I would have read the reviews of this place before sending my son there! He went in to check a oil leak and they ended up breaking his radiator after holding his car for a day and a half to try and avoid disclosing this. Not only that but his oil leak never got repaired after charging him almost $2,000! Brought it back since it should be on warranty and he came out of there with a list of other things going wrong with the car even though it was perfect when he brought it there. This place does not hold true to a code of ethics that mechanics stand by. Karma will handle this place shortly.

Ed is always quick to get my vehicle in for servicing, providing tow, emergency repair and routine maintenance for a respectable fee. This shop has been a blessing with all of the unexpected repairs I d had lately. My vehicle runs like new!

You CANNOT trust their recommendations. Their quick, expensive work ironically led to damaged serpentine belt and the subsequent failure of my motor. They couldn't even get the check engine light off. Talked like we would work something out but after months it was clear they never really wanted to square things away or make it right after multiple voicemails and emails.Their respect in the community is fast running out so is their luck, I'm thinking. Just go to Bradenton, Sarasota, or anywhere else

This is about to be a lengthy review: I was hoping to find a good mechanic in town, minutes away from my residence. I will still be looking. First- I took my vehicle up to Ed s on December 29, with concerns of a belt making noise when I start my vehicle. I m no mechanic, but I m sure it s a belt- I ve heard it before and that was the problem. They called back the same day with a diagnosis: brakes, belt(s), tune up etc.. Cool! Fix it all. Total came to $2,481 and change. Picked up on December 30. No loud noise when I start, but it s STILL making a squeaking noise. Just a quieter version of the noise when it was starting. Take it back either the 3rd or 4th. They give it back and claim it s fixed . NOPE still making noise. Take it back Wednesday. Thursday- I get a call that s it the alternator. Ok, fix that- $759. STILL making noise. I cannot believe I have spent over $3,000 for them to not have fixed the problem. My 3rd time returning my vehicle. How can a mechanic not fix the car problem or refer me to a mechanic that can? They are either not driving the vehicle to hear a noise or they just don t want to hear it, just put the car in the air and makeup stuff that s broken. I am DONE I will not be returning. I told them I would today, but I cannot stomach the fact that I will have to take my vehicle up there again! This review isn t to be nasty, but I m just speechless. I am. Either they don t care, or they don t care. That has to be it. Not only that, now when I start my vehicle- I get all kind of lights that come on that didn t before. It s just a mess and bottom line is I will not return. I will be taking it somewhere else for service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Brakes

We took our 2014 equinox in for extensive repairs. Parts had to be ordered. Ok. That s fine expected it to be in the shop for several days. Got a call the next afternoon and it was done. Very easy and pleasant people to work with. They will be my go to for any repairs needed in the future. Not sure who you have doing these reviews maybe all friends, where do I start maybe I should start with my husbands tires..1 day after getting new tires he got from the this shop his tire almost fell off on 75 basic mechanic skills you failed.(brought it to a mechanic near work he said you had 2 threads left before it popping off and your very lucky) that mechanic asked if a mechanic put that tires on my husband said yes and he laughed) Gave this shop another chance not sure why and failed again brought my car in for white smoke blowing out the back.. was told it was a crack in my radiator, $300 later for looking at my car felt I should get another opinion since we weren t seeing any leaking coming from the car. Brought it to 2 reputable mechanics in the area both did a 10 mins test and blown head gasket. So not only if I had them do the work I would of been out 1100 dollars but my car still would of had a blown head gasket that most likely I would of brought back and then they would of caught it. I drove my kids around in the car you misdiagnosed so if you feel safe bringing your car to a mechanic who did this then go for it! And not to mention almost killed my husband because you can t put a tire on right. I will not recommend my friends or family to this place. The front desk lady April is rude and unprofessional, doesn t respect customers also filing with the bbb also was threatened by the owner I would be sued for defamation lol for speaking the truth!

This place of business, have such great people , they care about you and they care about your automobile, the receptionist, she is the bomb, killer attitude, she will make you laugh. She s such a friendly person, Mr. Ed I meant he s very friendly as well. I m glad I found this automobile place. And the place is dog friendly

Very professional, very friendly, and knowledgeable.Was able to get me in quick and take care of my air conditioning problems. I was quoted from another place that my Compressor and lines needed to be changed. I wanted to get a second opinion and so glad I did. Saved a lot of money. Will definitely use them again for any of our vehicle needs.Service: Air conditioning

Brought my 67 Camaro there to have some work done. Felt comfortable with owner and his estimate. The work was done properly. Engine had to be lifted to change oil pan and my Firewall did not get scratched. Employs a Vet as his head mechanic so as a Vet myself I will continue to support Ed and his shop!!!

Brought Kia Optima 2013 to have lightbulb change and brought lightbulb. $226. After complaining they should of been upfront on what that cost was as I would of not of completed work they reduced it to $192 and didn t charge me for new lightbulb because the one I bought was already opened. I sent my 16 yr old son to get this done to his car and was hoping to find a local auto place we could use regularly.

We took our car into them because we d purchased tires from an employee. My husband also had an oil change done. They put the tires on backwards (inside of the tires were on the outside), which completely messes with the traction the tred direction is meant for. They also put a quart of oil OVER the amount needed (which we were charged for as well). This could cause a blown head gasket. We called for a refund of the money, and were denied.

I trust Ed with my truck and I am a mechanic myself so you know how picky I am very respectable and responsible owner EDD representative for the company so please anything from plug in your tire all the way up to basically rebuilding your whole car I'm pretty sure this man could do it and his helper ride the Harley so I mean you can't really go wrong with somebody who rides a Harley
