Darren and Lulu are the best! I brought my 1990 Toyota pickup into their shop because I had several very bad oil leaks. They replaced the rear main seal and the valve cover gasket for a decent price. A year later, the oil started dripping again. They replaced the valve cover gasket that was leaking even though it was a year later( only drove 4,000 miles) at no charge. They do great work and honor their warranties. Nice to find an honest transmission shop!

I cannot describe in to words how wonderful its been working with these people. I highly recommend their services to anyone in the local area for any transmission needs. These guys know what they are doing 100%. They are honest, straight forward and know their stuff inside and out. I will be taking my other jeep to get transmission work done to them very soon. I am very picky about anyone working on my jeeps and I have no regrets handing them the keys to my jeeps in the future. If you are looking for a solid mom and pop local shop to get your work done, this is the shop for you. This is the way auto shops used to be and they way they should be. Went there to drop off a doordash, some kid named jackson said it wasnt a real job. If it wasnt for me, you wouldnt be getting your stuff. I dont care about what service you give or how good the reviews are. I care about first impressions and that kid jackson needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut.

I took my took to Milex/Mr.Transmission. They seamed shady from the get go. After having my truck for an hour or so they called and said my trans was shot. I needed a total rebuild. He gave me 2 quotes 1 for $4,700 for regular parts or $5,500 for heavy duty upgraded parts. I didn t sweat the prices at all because I knew immediately I was being taken advantage of.So I took my truck to Lulu over at Transmissions R Us. ( I wanted to go there to begin with but they were a little further away). After a couple hours Lulu called me and said that the 3rd and 4th gears were out in the transmission. Which I pretty much already knew because I drive the truck every day. She quoted me a price that was less than half of the lowest price the previous shop gave me. She didn t tell me I had options she sold me what I needed to fix my truck and not have to worry about it again. We agreed to have them do the work. I left my truck there over the weekend. Tuesday at lunch time I was called to pick up my truck. No hassles, no extras, no excuses or delays. I was there maybe 5 minutes. I paid, Lulu explained my warranty ( which is very good. Much better than I expected) and I was on my way. My truck drives like a brand new truck.This place is outstanding. They are very straightforward and straight to the point. They are just real people. No extra bs involved. It was like I was dealing with family or something. I don t know exactly what all they do there but from the looks of the place they do everything as far as car repairs and service. They even have an oil change shop when you first pull in. Everything about the place is professional. I will be taking my vehicles to them for everything from now on. They have a customer for life here. You just can t get this type of trust worthy service anymore. Plus Lulu is cool Af! Stop in a see them. You will not regret it!I only do reviews for places that I am really impressed with. I don t bash places that aren t that good. Or I had a bad experience with. If I did I d be bashing 90% of the places I go. Anyway, Thanks again Lulu and fam!! I ll be seeing you again soon! I would just like to thank them for being honest with my daughter, and not taking her money from a used car from pricewise auto sales in Tarpon Springs, the car was useless from the start!! They did work on the car six months ago and were very very helpful and then even let her store her vehicle for a few days until she can have it removed as she was working so they were very very accommodating!! I love businesses like that!

Lulu and her team of mechanics are awesome. They did a fantastic job when my throw out bearing failed on my Subaru.The price was very reasonable, and over $1000 less than most everywhere else I called.I took the car in on a Monday, and drove it home on Thursday, which was in their window of when they said it was available.There was no upselling, no unnecessary services tacked on my bill, and the original quote matched what I paid.Thank you all!

These guys live up to the reviews.I came to this shop fully prepared to have them replace my transmission with a new one that I was hours away from purchasing for $2600 and explained that I wanted them too take a look and make sure it wasn t anything minor that could be replaced or fixed before swapping out, but essentially I was there to have them install the new transmission (becuz of the reviews) when it arrived.My car has 156,000 miles and is a 2012 IS350. I didn t like the way it shifted from first to second and would be clunky sometimes when downshifting, so i figured it was just time. I am very particular about my cars and the way they drive so I replace stuff prob sooner than most would for peace of mind and drive ability. I drive for smiles per gallon not miles per gallon if you know what I mean.I dropped my car off in the morning and they had it all day. Not only was there no leaks but he said he drove 3 separate times, cold and at running temp. and said there was nothing wrong with the transmission and that it shifted fine. Lots of life left and no reason to do anything.He said come back if it gets worse but it s nothing that needs that kind of attention.I told them my plan when I dropped off the car so they easily could have taken me for the $2000 or whatever it would have been to install it, but they didn t even charge me for the diagnosis. I had to slip the owner a $20 for there time and he didn t even want too take that.They will be getting all of the car repairs that I can t do moving forward.Very honest and trustworthy people. Your car and money are safe here, that much I can attest too.Thank you LuLu for all your help in front office. She even called me twice that day to keep me informed. You just don t get that kind of service anymore.Service: Transmission

The transfer case went out on my Suburban after arriving in town from MI. I was recommended here by a family friend and they didn't disappoint. Lulu's communication was great from start to finish and Darren got us back on the road quickly when the new transfer case arrived. The service was great, and the quality of work is excellent! It s very hard this day and age to find a place that truly values their customers, and takes pride in their work! I can only give them 5 stars, but they deserve 10!! Finally found a shop I can take my car, and my family s cars, for the rest of my days. Lulu and team are awesome! We brought both of our cars to Transmissions Are Us after another shop told us our vehicles needed a lot of work and money to fix them for a second opinion. Lulu and team diagnosed the problems (totally different from what the first shop told it was) and fixed them at a fair price. We highly recommend them!!!! You won't be sorry! You'll want to recommend them to all your friends and family.

First off that shop took advantage of a 71 yr old man. Brought vehicle in to have the power steering cooler replaced. In doing so they broke the radiator taking it out, & had me pay for their mishap. Replaced power steering cooler, never tightened the hose line clamps, power steering fluid leaked out. When I brought it back to have them fix it, they refused said that they didnt do that, when they were the ones to replace the cooler, so they had to cut the line & inserted 2 couplers & 4 hose-clamps. Which all for were leaking when I brought it in for them to look at & fix. Refused to tighten clamps & replace the leaked out power steering fluid. They (Darren) owner drop the truck from the lift & did nothing to fix the problem. Drove about a mile down the road, & the power steering went out, locking up the steering. Had to have it towed, they refused me service. They took advantage of me & everyone should know that these people are very unscrupulous to do business with, for exploiting the elderly.Service: Steering & suspension repair

My transmission went out, brought my truck in. Very friendly, "GREAT" customer service. I would highly recommend them. Great on price. The mechanic that took care of me (Without hesitation) was able to explain to me what he did and found. Ratings speaks for itself. Military Friendly.Update,First and foremost, the staff is friendly. I had my transmission replaced last year and after they replaced the transmission, they decided to change the rear main seal on my truck for no fee as a friendly gesture. Due to them observing a bad radiator I also had my radiator replaced (New). Upon arriving to pick up my truck from the shop. I checked under the truck and observed that there was still a small oil leak on the ground coming from the same location. I never really though anything about it and though that it was the old oil dripping from underneath. Having returned the rental, I was happy to have my truck back, as I go to school and work fulltime. The next morning, I saw that there was an oil leak on my driveway, thinking . if the rear main seal has been replaced, it couldn t be coming from the rear main instead coming down from the valve covers.With me finishing school and having more time in my hands, I drove my car to the shop and had my oil change and ask the tech to check to see where the oil leak was coming from. The mechanic/Tech stated that the leak is coming from the (REAR MAIN SEAL) the same shop that replaced the seal (Transmissions Are US Plus Located on US 19).The technician told me to talk to the shop that replaced the seal. So, I called up the shop and advised them of the situation. They were friendly on the phone and told me to bring the car in and stated that they would look at it but (She said that they would not promise me anything, but They would stand-by their work). I took my truck in and left the truck at their shop overnight.This morning, I was greeted with a call and they stated that I have a few things going on with my truck. They stated that my heater house is leaking coolant, leak engine oil cooler and with labor everything will come to $870.60. Where I m getting at is (the rear main seal -the one they replaced) the work conducted an unauthorized job from which they conducted. Yes! It was nice of them to do but was not done properly which is why I m having the constant oil leak. In fact, the job they conducted made it worse. May I add, the rear main seal doesn t go bad after a year after it has been replaced. I advised that it has been leaking since I picked it up from the shop. They stated that I could have turned it back in the shop ..(if it was done right, I wouldn t have to return the truck to the shop) (keep in mind that I returned the rental then went straight to shop to pick up my truck . I am in a very tight time schedule with work/school/family. Again, I though the leak will be coming from the valve covers due to the shop fixing the rear main seal.The transmission and radiator are in working order, but the unauthorized work performed has not fixed the problem. They stated that they backed their work . well doesn t look like it to me. It s a transmissions shop and they should stick to fixing transmissions and transmissions only. They also need to learn how to speak customers and give them a chance to talk and not give them attitude while conducting business on the phone. I support small/medium businesses but will not tarnish the reputation on this one. I will provide a fair and updated rating as of 10/15/2019. The 3 stars is for job well done on transmission. 2 Star drop due to this issue.

If you need a simple oil change to a total transmission rebuild come see them. Darren is a car genius, and Lulu takes great care of the office. This is the local spot you can trust to fix it the right way with integrity! 100% trust and support to take care of your vehicle!

This is THE shop to take your car to. They are amazing, honest and very fair. They went way beyond what was asked of them and did everything they could for me. Trust no one but them! I've been going there for years and honestly can't say enough good things about this place.It changed ownership about 5 months ago and the new owners are as fabulous as the old ones.All the other reviews are spot on; no upselling (unlike Firestone who wants to rebuild your car everytime you get an oil change), honest pricing and great work.I might add this; they do far more than transmissions. I've had them fix electrical problems and anything under the hood and it's always done great! They even dropped me back off one time after I dropped my car off and needed a ride home. If you need a mechanic; they are the answer!!!

I recommend this place 110%. I tell everyone about them. It's the only place I go when I need anything done to my jeeps. I've had a transmission built here, a radiator replaced, and now a control arm and suspension work. I've never had to wait more than a day or two. One time, I dropped it off on Sunday night because they were closed and called Monday morning to tell them what was wrong with it, they ALREADY had it in the shop and were waiting on my call. You have to go here if you need anything done to your car or truck. You will not be disappointed.

Took my wife's CRV into their shop for an inspection because it was shifting funny. They found out the problem was a computer issue. They let me know how to fix the issue (take it to the dealership to be reprogrammed) and didn't charge me a dime. Very nice people running the business up front in the office.

New owners dont seem to be like the owners this review was originally written. Prices double on some quotes.Original ownerFair honest. Check van after check engine light. Gave us a detailed report of where problem was. Highly reccommend them.

They did nothing accept tell me my transmission was bad 3200 hundred bucks . I eve told them what was wrong the solenoids needed replacing . Now I have to do the hundred and twenty five bucks . Thank god for youtube.......Service: TransmissionService: Transmission
