I rarely write reviews unless I am very satisfied or very upset. We went to change tires in this location today and after 1.5 hours I received a phone call about their inability to remove the wheels from the car for faulty lug nuts. We drove there right away and my husband who is machinist, business owner who rebuild, design or fix anything easily opened the nuts manually. The mechanic then said: I can do it this way too but per policy we need to use pneumatic impact wrench so I don t break my back . We told him then that we would release the lug nuts just a little bit so he is able to complete the job. He still refused. The mechanic seemed to follow the business policy but he lacked business owner mission to help customer and provide quality service. It was Saturday at 2 pm so most likely it was an excuse not to do the job. The manager Thomas did not try to solve the situation to our benefit but blamed everything on the business policies. The manager did not show professionalism or kept customer happy. I am attaching pictures of the wheels on which you can clearly see those lug nots not broken or damaged. It is absolutely unacceptable in professional tire shop they are unable to remove wheels from the car when my husband with simple tool quickly released those lug nots in matter of seconds. Excuses, poor service, unwillingness to find another solution for paying customer left us with very bad taste in our mouth. I do not recommend this place to anybody who is waiting for quality service.

Was told I needed over 10k in repairs but wasn't told any of this unit after they had installed new tires. Had I known this before I would not have wanted the tires installed! The decision was made for me instead of asking me first. So I was forced to pay over $1,000 for tires just to trade in that car the same day. I will not recommend this place to anyone as they force to to pay for stuff and make decisions of installing stuff before asking. I would like some sort of refund but I don't see that happening unless some higher up contacts me because no one wants to do anything, which is weird they can make a decision for me but can't help. Update on 4/22/24. I was told 3 week ago I would hear from a district manager and still ha e not heard anything. Anyway to give zero stars?!?!

I had a check engine light blinking so took my car to this shop. I paid for the diagnosis and I was suggested to get a list of things done for $6300 that does not include fixing the problem I went there for. I took the car home and found that the technician left the wire clamp off the socket. Bots locking the timing belt cover were missing. After I read through the entire report. I called them back and asking them what exactly is causing the issue. The service manager told me they didn't know what is causing the the issue, just suggested that I replace all O2 sensors and two catalytic converters and the muffler or throw away my car. What an a*h*. I was not happy so I replaced all the spark plugs and ignition coils myself. Then the check engine light went off and the car runs smoothly since.

The technician was amazing! His name was Christian Garcia. Very professional and knowledgeable about his job. He seems to be an asset to the company. I would try to hold on to him for as long as you can!

I took my Jeep here recently to get it checked out as it was leaking oil. They were pretty accommodating in terms of taking a look at it and diagnosing the problem, however the price they quoted me for did not make sense... so I took my Jeep to get a 2nd opinion to a shop down in Gulfport that my family has been going to for years and they were able to diagnose the same issue and they quoted me 1/2 as much as Tire Choice quoted me for. I am talking about $1,600 quote compared to $800. As a consumer do your research because this place will try to take advantage when it comes to price.

Thank goodness for these men. I had a major meltdown when both of My windshield wipers got entangled with each other down Us 19. It was in the early morning, so it was dark and pouring down rain. All 3 of them working that day were so diligent in repairing my windshield wipers so I could get to work. They also calmed me down through all my tears and shaking with stress. Thank you guys so much I highly recommend.

I had a problem with a tire. Thomas advised me to replace the tires as they were 7 yrs old. The mechanic did that in a reasonable time. I was happy with the service.

I have had SEVERAL different services done at Tire Choice Auto Service, over the years. I do appreciate their KNOWLEDGE and PROFESSIONALISM, that they have provided for our VEHICLES. They do great work!. CHECK THEM OUT!

My sister was in need of a tire and they were able to help us even though it was ten minutes before they closed (meanwhile, other shops turned us away as it was too close to closing time). They saved the day! and as a bonus they had these adorable shiba inu dogs to pet while you wait.

Overall knowledge and integrity was superb. But 4 tires and alignment with appointment at 1pm finally ready to pickup 8am next day. Felt like I was pushed to the back of line. Would use again with realistic expectations.

I had such a great experience at Tire Choice Auto Palm Harbor, especially with Thomas. He clearly explained the possible issues with my car, clarified my questions, and is full of integrity. I would definitely recommend.

Took my car to this location to get a headlight changed - the guy behind the counter said that he was not going to do it because he did not want to get electrocuted!!! When asked if someone else there could do it, his response was take it to the dealership no one here is going to do it!!!

DONT EVER COME HERE!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE MONEY HUNGRY!!! I took my car in and physically only asked for an inspection on my tires to see if I needed new brake pads or rotators for only my 2 front tires, the guy said okay that s free, it ll only take us 10 minutes 45 minutes laterI walk over and they lifted my entire car in the air and took all my tires off.I then told them that all I wanted was an inspection and that I have to go. Both guys proceeded to tell me that my car is not drivable and to just call a Uber into work and they ll take care of it for only $500+ .I began getting irritated and told the guy to put the tires back on my car and I have to go. They refused over and over and over again until I began dam near screaming at them to give me back my car. Worst possible experience I ve ever had.Someone begging for THEIR car back is beyond insane. The business is clearly not doing well if their employees are trying to scam people that bad.

Most shops in the area could'nt work me in for several days when I picked up a screw in my tire. I called Tire Choice and was able to be seen about 10 minutes later. Extremely friendly staff, my tire was patched and I was on my way in half an hour. Definite life savers here, can't recommend them highly enough!

Kind, knowledgeable, and honest! My AC stopped working in the middle of a summer heatwave, so I came in for an inspection and an oil change with the works (tire rotation, routine maintenance check). While the news about my AC sadly wasn t what I wanted to hear, Mary was extremely helpful and fielded all of my questions with patience and candor. Came here on a recommendation and so glad I did! Would definitely come back here again for service.

They have saved me so many times. The past few times I have had car problems, it happens on a Sunday when most other shops are closed. Even still, other shops in the area are backed up for days or weeks. They've been ready and available and the prices are reasonable too. Marie is the manager and she's great, she'll give you all your options without pressuring you into the upsell.

Maria was 5 stars all the way. While juggling the needs of half a dozen people, she made everyone feel taken care of.She's obviously a car person who knows what she is talking about through the course of the day.Great experience.

WELCOME YOUR CUSTOMERS!I stopped in early Monday looking to schedule some basic services for my car.I had some questions because it was my first time using the business. I was never even acknowledged. I actually decided to leave after already waiting 15 minutes.I think we all could agree that if the employees are busy we understand HOWEVER assess your customers needs. Then, adjust your service style accordingly. ....Also a Simple Simple Smile could help.

Chris went above and beyond when I stopped by to get the air pressure checked in my tires. He took the time to blow all of the leaves out of my spare tire area after removing the cover and inflating it to the correct pressure. Thanks for such excellent service!

My mother recommended this place to me and they are very friendly and offer very knowledgable service's. Mechanics went above and beyond performing a full inspection of my vehicle. Pricing was very reasonable and all work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. Highly recommended to anyone passing by or in the area

The Palm Harbor Florida location is always so friendly, professional, and It's always very informative on what is happening with my car. I've been coming here for many years and will continue to recommend them because I believe they offer the best customer service and care for my car than anyone else in the area, including my dealership.

Thank you Jenna and Fidel for quick and honest service. Ford dealership told me 5,000 miles ago that my brakes were overdue which I knew was bogus. They checked out green at this morning s inspection. Love you guys and will certainly recommend.

We bought 4 new high quality tires and were told we did not need an alignment. 3 visits later we found out that the car was NOT properly aligned and our new tires were not at the tire pressure! We were long time customers at this location but will not be returning. Manager blamed it on the staff!

Have only had good experiences here. Good experiences meaning, they do good work, but more importantly they will be honest with u in regards to what needs to b done with your vehicle. If it s a repair that needs to be addressed ASAP or can wait. They r down to earth people.

Look no further. Howard and Chris were fantastic. Very courteous reasonably priced and trustworthy. Hard to find people you can trust in the automotive service industry these days. You can trust these two fellas. I highly recommend.

I have always been pleased with the service at this location. Friendly staff and good service. However, on this visit, I brought my car in for an oil change and was informed I had bald tires. I purchased Goodyear tires from Tire Choice (another location) a few years ago. The warranty on the tires was 65,000 miles. Now with less than 30,000 miles on the tires I now need new ones! Very disappointed, certainly wouldn t recommend Goodyear tires!!
