Scheduled appt. for brakes,figuring 70,000 miles would show some wear and tear on pads and maybe rotors, but Scott informed me brakes were fine. Tires different story, from the naked eye looked like tires were good,but 3 out of 4 were very low on tread, so glad to get safe tires back on. I was curious as to why after only 40,000 miles my Goodyear tires would be worn and Scott explained a few scenarios and even went and got one of the old tires and showed how it was worn! Thank you for your professionalism Scott and Cole is a very capable and professional employee also!

Scott and his Techs Austyn and Cole really helped me out when I was in need of a repair, they where honest and had a great price! They even let you know if anything else is needed in future!! Highly recommend this place for any repairs for your cars!

The Palm Harbor location is sincerely appreciated! Scott, (Manager) has been accommodating and honest. Quick and easy experience! Let me know about some back tires that needed to be replaced soon as well! (Clearwater Toyota said they put all new tires on 2 months ago so this was a big deal for me!)

Poor customer service, highest priced oil change I've ever seen in 54 years of owning a car, tried to sell me new tires because my front tire was low on air. Overall, this garage was not well managed from what I experienced.

Took care of my tire right away, they could have tried to sale another tire to me but was honest and fixed it . Most tire companies don't do that . Thanks for being honest.

We were on vacation and had tire issue on our Tesla. Brian and team at Pep Boys were absolutely fantastic working to get us back on the road as soon as possible. Brian in particular showed that he cared--absolutely impressed. Thanks for the great work Brian and team!!! Highly recommend!!!

I have been living in Palm Harbor Florida for the last four years.During that time I visited the Palm Harbor Pep Boys store number 1804 probably a dozen times.It is the only auto mechanic store I ve ever gone to that consistently meets or exceeds my expectations on every issue in every repairBob and Brian do an outstanding job of working with customers and taking care of the needs of the vehicles.Their analysis of the problem is always right on, their pricing is very fair, they get the job done quickly and you leave with a feeling that they really know what they re doing and also really care about you and your vehicleI ve gone to some other repair shops in the area this last few years. I have found no one to be even close to the level of service that I can receive at Pepboys. They have my business for life.If you re looking for a good mechanics, and an honest business, Pep Boys is the place to go !!

I took my car in early this morning for ana/c check. I was very happy with the professionalism and awesome customer service. I also feel the cost was very fair. There is constant communication and updates via text and phone throughout the repair. I was given a ride home and they sent a driver to pick me up when the service was complete. I would recommend PEP boys to anyone needing to have their vehicle serviced.

Excellent service every time I ve been there. Bob is a straight shooter and has always given me great advice. They always answer my questions no matter how stupid they sound.I just had two tires mounted and balanced today and since this is my third time using them, I thought I d give them a review based on my own experience.A while back, I purchased an old truck with over 200k miles and because it had never had the transmission fluid changed I asked them how much and they recommended that I *don t* change it because it could cause transmission issues.They could have taken my money but instead they saved me an expensive transmission repair. My brother is an ASE certified mechanic that rebuilds transmissions but lives in another state and he agreed with the advice of Pep Boys.I booked my appointment online and everything worked out just like clockwork.I highly recommend Pep Boys.

Charged my daughter $118 $99 for labor to do a computer diagnostics test complete . This place continues to be a complete rip off . Do NOT recommend

What a breath of fresh air. These guys were able to accommodate my Truck for new 4 tires on a Saturday, and it s a big truck so it s gonna take a while. So what did Brian do? He offered me a Lyft ride back to my house so I can enjoy my Saturday and get the truck later! Talk about customer service!! Thanks Brian for helping me enjoy my Saturday!

Pep Boys 1804, Palm Harbor, FLTrans: 030997Work order 2031943Negative experience 2 of 2.I have been stewing over this for months. Definitively feel like I was taken advantage of.Pep Boys is no longer the store that our dad s trusted. The price gouging and ineffective mechanics are the negative examples and destruction of what was once a trusted name.I took my 2012 Hyundai to this location to have an air conditioner problem diagnosed. After about an hour later I got a call saying that all it needs is a charge . Great, wonderful news. And that they recommended replacing the cabin air filter. Had I known it wasn t a complete fix, I may have changed direction.Total amount of work: $291.48Three days later and the air conditioner is no longer blowing cold. Contacted the garage and set up a time to bring it back.Returned the vehicle for service.Work order # 2031943Told the compressor was bad.My estimate to replace: $1,348.58No credit for previous work or supplies, even though misdiagnosed?(And, I honestly question if it s properly diagnosed. I purchased the UV glasses and light to see if I could see the leaks, and they appear to be at tubing joints, not at compressor)The estimate for the part, A/C compressor: $890.99Part # 471-6025The same part from their supplier, Advance Auto, located in the same building, is: $579.99 (retail)Amazon is $328.08So again on parts, huge mark-up! Downright price gouging!End result:Paid $291.48 for a misdiagnosis, and an estimate that I can t trust..Made me question this location and the integrity of Pep Boys.As a follow up, I contacted Pep Boys several weeks ago and the only response was asking for my phone number, which they never contacted.

Had a great experience recently dealing with Service Manager Bryan. My vehicle was on site at this location for nearly a week, communication was great throughout. Much appreciation to Bryan & this location.

Brian and his team came through for me when I desperately it. I had a tire with a slow leak that needed to be repaired before I could evacuate due to the hurricane . After stopping at three tire stores that were too busy to fit me in I called Pep Boys and they told me to come in and they would take care of it for me. They got me in and out. So very thankful for them.

Serpentine belt went on on of our vehicles Saturday evening. Contacted them Sunday morning. They advised they could get us in and get it done same day. We had the vehicle towed there. 3 hours later it was done just a few dollars over estimate. No complaints here.

I called to ask if they still offer the manager s special which is supposed to include a synthetic oil change, fuel cleaner and tire rotation. They said yes and I scheduled an appointment. After drop off the day of the service, I thought everything was fine until I recently a phone call that I need brakes per their inspection. I was provided a price but had to decline. The advisor seemed uninterested after that and just said car is ready for pick up. When picking up, I was told the wrong price, even though I (again) mentioned the manager s special at drop off. Since the online inspection results posted online did not indicate any services performed, I asked if the tires were rotated. They apparently were not due to one tire having a plug. I was not told this over the phone and wouldn t have known had I not asked. I also asked if I can get a printed quote for the recommended brake service and was told that I can see it online along with the inspection results. However, no prices anywhere to be found with the inspection results. Also, the Pep Boys service sticker that they left on the windshield doesn t indicate what service they even performed, so what s to point of having it put on the vehicle (photo for reference). They also didn t report to Carfax like my last service with a different vehicle. This is my last time going to Pep Boys due to lack of basic communication and customer service.

Bought 2 tires at this place. The guy at the counter refused to perform a tire rotation upon request. Tire quality are bad. I can tell tires I got have been seated in storage for a while. Good luck at this place.

Bob at the front office needs to get someone to help him cuz dude's way too stress doesn't seem like he really wants to talk to anybody. Thankfully the mechanic was willing to talk to me about what was going on and explain it without frustration.I've come to this one before and there is another guy in the front that was very kind and considerate when talking to others can't believe they fired that guy

The gentleman at Pep Boys were very helpful! I had a screw in my tire that did not actually puncture through the tread. Upon discovering this they removed it and did not even charge me for their time. Very kind! Thanks Boys!

The service manager at the pep boys in palm harbor is Brian. Brian is a knowledgeable and friendly person . I bought new tires and we discussed the different tire brands and what tire would be the best value . I am very happy with my purchase and service with pep boys and I will go there for all my cars needs . Thanks again Brian !

Easy online booking, quick service plus my vehicle was ready before the scheduled time. Was able to add-on a service when I checked-in. Easy convenient drop off service. Mike was my tech, he did a great job!! Thanks Mike.
