Diego is an amazing and honest mechanic. Very polite and professional and above all does great work! Diego has done several major jobs for me including complete engine rebuilds (cam swap, rebore, valve springs, all new injectors, push rods, DOD delete, new radiator, new pistons, etc.) I highly recommend Diego to any of my friends or neighbors. He has worked on both my GMC Sierra 5.3L as well as my wifes Audi A5 2.0T. I've not had a single issue when working with Diego. He has solved issues (break warping as an example) that other shops have failed to address. He also has brought up issues that I wasn't aware of that saved me time and money in the long run. I couldn't say enough positive things about my experiences with Diego over the last several years. Thanks, Diego!

Diego gives great service at a reasonable price! It s so good to find a mechanic that knows what they re doing and takes pride in their work!!! If you go anywhere else you ll be doing yourself a disservice! Diego is knowledgeable, hard working, and honest not easy to find anymore!

I got 2 different quotes for installing a custom carbon fiber steering wheel, one for 700$ and 400$. Degio beat that with no problem. This man is not out to scam. BEST prices and excellent work !!!

Diego is hands down the best neighborhood mechanic I've come across in decades. I was told by two other locations I was going to need services that would have cost me over $400 minimum to complete and he was able to CORRECTLY diagnosed the issue down to a $10 sensor within the first hour of having my vehicle. Diego is extremely professional, easy to work and communicate with. Where others gave up on my car, Diego, did not. He took his time to explain to me what was happening, actually listening unlike others and gave 110% effort in making my car perform better. The fact that someone finally listened and understood that I knew how my car was supposed to be working, versus what it was doing, was validating. There s no other mechanic in the area that I ll trust my car with

Diego and Bob are the only mechanics you need!! Excellent customer service, knowledgeable, punctual, and most importantly honest. They diagnosed the issues with my vehicle quickly, helped order the correct parts same day, and finished the job twice as fast and cost much less compared to any Toyota/Lexus dealership. Diego was great! I called and he told me to come right in! I pulled up and he changed my headlights in just a few minutes! NAPA quoted me $125 for the service but Diego did it for much cheaper! I will definitely be back!

Diego was very friendly and successfully replaced my car s valve cover in my BMW X5 for a fraction of the price compared to other auto-mechanics. I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants superior quality car service for a fair price!

Diego at Mechanic Automotive Services is the best mechanic in Tampa Bay! I was lucky to be referred to Diego after another garage was unable to do the job. I have been using Diego ever since as he is professional, affordable and does top notch work. Amazing mechanic, got my brakes up and running right before the hurricane hit. Very down to earth and patient, willing to take his time to address any concerns and even break down some of the technical aspects. Had an electrical fire in my Sentra. This place helped out big time. They were very communicative and found ways to get things done. I usually don't bring my cars into shops as it's hard for me to trust people. They have definitely earned my trust if I ever need to bring it back to a shop. Definitely recommend if u need any repairs.

I am writing to recommend Mechanic Automotive Service to anyone who is looking for a reliable mechanic. My car needed a minor gasket repair. I took it to a "corporate garage" and after doing a full inspection on my car they said they couldn't fix the problem due to corporate limitations.I immediately called Diego at Mechanic Automotive and he told me that he would make himself available immediately. I brought the car down and he quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it the same day and did an excellent job.I will be using Mechanic Automotive Service as my auto service provider moving forward. Diego is the best mechanic around! He's the first person in FL I brought my jeep to and I won't go anywhere else. He's super attentive and goes the extra mile to explain the issues in detail instead of just trying to get extra money out of you. He's an all around great guy. If you're looking for a mechanic in the area choose him, you won't regret it!

Diego was outstanding in quickly diagnosing and repairing a critical radiator issue, he quickly had the new radiator shipped in and replaced all in less than a day. His prices are fair and his work quality is impeccable. Would 100% recommend to anyone in need of a mechanic with lots of knowledge and confidence

This place is great! We've had the same problem with our minivan for two years. Two other mechanic shops were unable to diagnose the problem correctly, and we paid for unneeded repairs. Here, they diagnosed immediately and fixed it quickly and for a very fair price. Thank you for your great workmanship. We highly recommend the mechanics here!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I called Diego for our repairs based on all the great ratings we read. This is our first experience with mobile car repairs and we will certainly be calling him again. He is a great communicator and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. The repairs were done quickly and at a fair price and you can t beat the convenience. I highly recommend his services- you won t be disappointed.

Great experience! I needed my alternator replaced. I had taken it to another shop and they gave me a quote that I thought was overpriced so I called Diego and he quickly gave me a quote that was over $100 less. I immediately drove it there and he was able to fix it while I waited. While I was there he looked over The car and tested my brake fluid and suggested is time to replace it. I liked that he was honest and he took his time to answer my questions and explain what he was doing. I showed him some other items that I thought needed to be replaced but he told me it wasn t necessary. I d like that he didn t try to sell me some thing I did not need like other shops have. I highly recommend.

Diego is an amazing auto mechanic! Not only is he punctual but he goes out of his way to assure the repair is handled in a timely manor. I needed to get my starter replaced and he picked me up from my location and took me to my car nearby for the inspection. He helped me find the right part for less and repaired it the next day. He is super friendly and I will definitely be making him my new on-call mechanic. If I could give him 10 stars I would!!!
