My truck broke down on 95. I was headed to Orlando from Jacksonville. My wheel bearing broke on driver side. Broke the brake caliper and bearing was destroyed. I didn't know any shops. I just Google nearest mechanic. John was the third on list. He answered immediately and said yes I can fix. They ordered parts and had me back on the road in no time. I swear the work was excellent!!!! No corners cut at all. Quality work that didn't hurt my pockets. Forever grateful to John and his staf.

I am so grateful to have John recommended to me by the person I purchased my car from. John is honest and his work is fast and reliable. He didn t even know me and showed care and concern for my car issues. He literally fixed my problem in a day that was taking the dealership 2 days just to diagnose. The dealership tried to charge me over 4x the amount John quoted me. John and Major Auto Repair is the way to go! Thanks John. God bless you.

Superb, excellent, best in class diagnostics and repair! Driving from SC to a wedding in Palm Coast, our AC died. Called Major Auto and asked if they could see us the next day. YES! And so nice on the phone saying they will fix it asap and that we shouldn't worry. Also provided a text contact. Well, they were RIGHT! Fixed it without worry in an hour!!! Also explained everything along the way to educate us about the issue. Even rfilled windshield wiper fluid and washed/degreased the engine! Unbelievable communication skills and kindness on top of highest level professionalism. Owner John is patient, clear and brilliant. 100% satisfied and recommend Major Auto without hesitation!

Beware. I've learned to never trust somebody that says they're trying to help you over and over again. It makes you forget that you have to keep coming back over and over again. $3,000 for a transmission and it's worse now than ever before. Even had the nerve to call me and disrespect me after I took it to a transmission specialist. The owner did not even want to see the paperwork. Just kept insisting that he had video saying that the engine is bad and it's not the transmission. Not even sure what that meant, but when someone is in over their head they tend to lash out. For 3 months I really thought the mechanic was trying to help until I found out they were trying to sell my car for a profit by telling me it was beyond repair. Out of anger he offered to put my old transmission , and finally when I accepted it he told me he already gave it to the junkyard. Foolish to do when you save every text message . I have everything to support the past 3 months of my experience in writing. I wish you all have a better experience but I would definitely use a more reputable company if you don't have a foreign make vehicle.

On my way driving from RI to Palm Coast my rear brake warning light came on indicating rear break pads needed to be replaced on my BMW.I did some research and called John and made an appointment to bring my car in.After John s inspection he said my break pads were new on the rear and were good in front and no replaced needed. It was a faulty sensor causing problem which was replaced by his crew.John was very honest and only charged me for replacing sensor. Needless to say John s knowledge and honesty exceeded my expectations and I would gladly return for other needed repairs in the future.BTW, You should see the Honda 2000 race car that he and his team built.

My car was running hot I googled this shop he told me to bring it in. When I got there he showed me right what the problem was it was my water pump. A job the dealership would have took a week an a lot more money. He had me out in a hour. I think this shop is the best around. So glad I found this shop. Any time something goes wrong I want go any where else but here. Thank you for your service today!!

John is without a doubt the best and fairest mechanic around. I ve been in the area for about a year and have taken my car to numerous mechanics, all of which were either very overpriced or took advantage of my lack of car knowledge and neglected to do the work properly. This includes tire kingdom, who replaced my brakes, had two people drive my car, but didn t bother to tell me that the loud noise I was hearing was a bad wheel barring (and that it was dangerous to drive).I called John asking if he could get the job done before I had to drive to Orlando. I dropped my car off to him that day, and he had it ready to go the next morning. He was extremely professional, communicated thoroughly and explained everything to me in detail. Not to mention, his pricing was unmatched.That same morning, we dropped my mom s car off for John to do her front brakes. He had the car ready before 5 o clock that day, and even plugged her tire after finding a nail in it. Once again, he communicated thoroughly and even sent me a video of the nail. John is a class act and you will not regret going to him. I won t take my car anywhere else.

Edit: So John figured out that the issue was the battery sensor module on my santa cruz that is 4 days old. We had to bypass the sensor to get the car to start. Didnt charge me anything, becuase it took so long and we thought it was the battery. He had me up and running and was one of the coolest mechanics I ever met.

I noticed yesterday that my car was leaking oil. I called all around to see who worked with third party warranty companies, wasn t having much luck. One company couldn t get me in til Friday and I couldn t wait that long. So that left me with just two options at the time, Tuffy or Major Auto. Both had good reviews it seemed but when talking with one of the Tuffy employees, it felt as if they wouldn t get right to it and possibly wouldn t accept my warranty company. Left me feeling unsure about using them.Yet, when John called me back from Major Auto, I felt much better. We only spoke briefly on the phone but he seemed very knowledgeable about my car and told me if I could bring it in the morning he could take a look. He also assured me that they work with third party warranty companies and even took the time to explain the process to me as I ve never gone through it before. I had a good feeling about him and his company and told him I d be there right when they open.Fast forward to this morning, right when I pulled up John was there to greet me. I thought I would have to drop the car off and wait to hear the news later, yet that wasn t the case at all. John jacked it up right then and there and began to inspect the leak. He found it quickly and even showed me what was going on. Little did I know the oil filter was loose and causing the problem. He cleaned up where it was leaking and tightened it back up for me. Assured me it should be all good now but if it was to leak anymore then he would just replace the filter for me. He didn t even charge me for it and even took his time to explain some things to me that I was looking to do with my car.For those who are reading this, you should know I never leave reviews and if I did, they usually wouldn t be good ones. Lol. I just moved back to Florida and I m very picky about who I let work on my car as it s very rare! Thank you very much John for all your help, I appreciate you calling me back, and truly appreciate you taking your time to help me and explain things. I ve come across many shady companies in the past that would lie to you or easily try to take advantage of you. This place is NOT one of them! Was a pleasure speaking with you and I will be coming back for all my car needs.

We were stranded on vacation and John took care of us. It was a hard part to find but he didn't give up. He keep us updated frequently and sent pictures and videos of the issue and progress. It's a small shop but can handle big jobs. Thank you for getting us back on the road.Edit: Transfer case that they replaced no longer works. We got 3 months out of the replacement. They are in Florida, we are in Colorado. It's not cost effective to take it back. Thanks for trying.

Been coming here for the last year. Work is always perfect. They have great fast service. Never had a problem with them highly recommend. All the work is super clean and professional. Just put a front bumper on my truck came out beautiful.

Brought my 7 Series BMW to John at Major Auto Repair, as he was highly reccomended by a colleague. Couldn t be happier w the results!! The shop is impeccably clean, and all the mechanics are courteous!! John made me feel very comfortable right away because of his extensive knowledge of foreign cars!! I just knew I was in the right place!! Even though shop is busy, they had my car ready the same day!! I had brought my car originally to Fields BMW where they charged me an astronomical diagnosis fee and an estimate for over $2600 John diagnosed and completed my repair for only $800 dollars. I can t say enough about this place. When I picked up my car I was so happy I went to the car wash and cleaned it up nice I am in love w my car again Thanks Major Auto

Excellent experience!!I was so thrilled to trust John to do the brakes on my Porsche Panamera. He was meticulous and did the job perfectly. He stayed in touch with me throughout the process to let me know how things were progressing and ensured that he didn t return the car until it was perfect.It s really difficult to find a Porsche expert and I m so glad I found Major Auto!

Driving my Jaguar from Jupiter, FL to Palm Coast, FL the engine warning light began to illuminate. I had to go to Columbia, SC the next day. Called John at Major Auto Repair who said he would take a look at my problem. Thru the diagnotic check John determined the reason the warning light came on and quickly fixed the problem. I can highly recommend this service.

John is the best auto mechanic and repair technician I have ever used. From replacing the brakes on my F150 truck to complete repair of my transmission and clutch assembly on my Porsche 911, he was great. He has extensive background with all automotive problems and especially with high preforming cars. He never tries to push services unless he feels it is necessary to fix and prevent further issues with your auto. Found this business using Google when mom s 19-yr-old car wouldn t shift into gear. John repaired it in a few short hours using an ingenious fix and cleaned up mom s battery terminals and polished her yellow headlights to boot! He went above and beyond. We couldn t be happier with the service and will use him for all future repairs. Thanks again, John! You rock!

I recently went to Major Auto Repair and was extremely pleased with the service. John told me that he uses only synthetic oil on oil changes because it willl make the car run longer. I appreciate John being honest with me I was told that I needed new tires which I knew I needed and now I have new tires and feel completely safe driving my car. I would highly recommend Major Auto Repair and I will continue going to John for my car needs

My S2000 was acting a little funky each time I started it, so I took it to John over at major auto repair thinking it was the starter. Turns out he saved me from getting my car blown up which is a common problem with these cars ( crank lock ). Because John knows what he is doing, he was able to locate the issue immediately! My family and i take all our cars over to them, and we couldn t be anymore happier ! This place is awesome! 10 out of 5 stars.

My fuel pump was a bit noisy so came by the shop. After listening to the car John explained what was going on and indicated what the real issue could be.I returned to NY without any problems.

Major Auto Repair is the absolute best. John is an amazing mechanic and a really great guy. We had our car serviced and we could not be happier at the results. This business is fielding calls for Flagler Auto Repair. They are not Flagler Auto Repair. Apparently a former employee stealing business from Flagler Auto Repair.My opinion, do not trust. Ask the address and be sure you are dealing with the company you think you are.

The most honest and friendly service I've ever received in Auto Repair. Saved me thousands of dollars based off other quotes. Fast fast fast repairs. Stands behind their work 110 % . John seemed to know his craft but lost his cool when questioned about the cost which he felt was already discounted. He said he did not want to work with my daughter in law anymore and raised his voice in fury. It was a very unpleasant experience.

I m new to the area. I wasn t sure where to go, so I decided to do a google search and found major auto repair. Took my chances and stopped in to see if they could help. I needed a bearing press on a hub and John from major auto repair basically stopped what he was doing and helped me out. I really appreciate it and thanks again for your help. We have gone to John for work on our Buick Envision SUVand Chevy Colorado truck for the last 9 months. He has done everything from our oil changes, brake work, to major mechanical repairs. He is not only the most honest mechanic I have ever worked with, but his prices are more then fair. We highly recommend him and Major Auto Repair.
