I needed work on my transmission. Very fast and upfront with costs, if there were any issues, they called me. My car has been running great ever since. I see why my friends recommended them. Thank you!!

Owner is nice, I believe he is having difficulty finding quality mechanics to compliment his jobs. After two of failed attempts to properly install a transmission and months of waiting. He bought a new one and installed it himself. If he hadn't resolved the issue I would not have rated him so high.

Palm City Transmission did excellent work installing a rebuilt transmission on our 2016 Suburban. They performed their work quickly and on-schedule, which was important as we were headed on a long trip out of town. I appreciated the final inspection they did before we hit the road. The technicians at PCT are knowledgeable and professional, and our vehicle has been running well since. This company did all they promised to do and earned my trust. I strongly recommend this auto repair provider.

I had two ford transmissions fully rebuilt in the shop here, totaling over 14k combined. One worked for about a year and half and has now gone bad again unable to shift gears or go into reverse and is being replaced after about 20,000 miles. The other is continuiosly shifting into reverse when driving almost anywhere now so both trucks had to be parked and cannot be driven of course they went bad at the same time and are waiting for a new shop to fix them. would never reccomend this shop to anyone, they seemed like great people however their work product is not as we have learned.Service: Transmission repair

Guys here were very informative and honest, actually cost less for a rebuild than originally quoted. They did a great job and my truck drives better than ever. Definitely will come back here for any future repairs. Would highly recommend going to them.

Company cargo Van transmission started slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear. Called some other transmission specialists, but none would quote a price to rebuild my existing transmission over the phone. Wanted me to bring it in and leave it for a few hours for a quote. After reading some reviews I called Palm City transmissions Explained my problem thay quoted me a price over the phone that I agreed upon. Also told them I had been experiencing a Clunking sound when reversing vehicle, said he would look into it come to find out it was a broken motor mount They replaced motor mount and charged $60 for the part only. When I dropped off vehicle and we talked about transmissions, he walked me to a work bench and was shown what probably went wrong with mine i knew then my work van was in the right place. These guys definitely know their job The experience I had was exceptional; now I know why they have so many 5-star reviews.I would definitely use them again if I needed another transmission in the future. Update:::Approximately 4 to 6 months after automatic transmission rebuild transmission started slipping going into second and third gear ..I notified Palm City Transmissions about the issue they asked me to bring it in to assess the problem and unfortunately had to remove transmission and rebuild again. They stood behind their work.

Drew was so helpful! He gave me the best service out of any place I took my car to. Ultimately they couldn't fix my problem but they went above and beyond to help me. Anytime I need anything done to my transmission this is the first place I will go and I will recommend them to EVERYONE! Great customer service goes a long way.

My mechanic took the modified transmission from my El Camino to John at Palm City and then my mechanic billed me. I had no idea what work had been done and was surprised at the amount of the bill, but I called John and he carefully and thoughtfully explained all the work that was done and why, and offered a discount if I wasn't fully satisfied. He was so professional and helpful I don't feel like I can take him up on the discount!

Extremely honest and professional! Another mechanic at another location thought there was a transmission problem which was over their head, referred us here and Craig Neal who inspected the car for nothing and gave us an honest answer nothing wrong at this time! This is unheard of with mechanics!!! Our go to place for our next repair needed! Much appreciated!Service: Transmission repair

I had my Silverado transmission rebuilt about a year ago and is running great. But I just bought in my 98 Tahoe for diagnostic check. They said no hurry to repair but down he road may need rebuild. I had my 2016 Chevy Impala's transmission go at 92,000 miles . I stopped into Palm City Transmissions and met with Drew. He was super informative of my situation. He gave me a quote which I ended up paying a little less which was extremely honest of them. Car was also completed ahead of schedule and it runs awesome ! Awesome service! I have 99 F350 with 260k miles on it. I was on my way home to Ft. Lauderdale from Destin. My trucks transmission bit the dust up by palm city. Total failure. Everything burned to a crisp. I took it to these guys and I couldn t be happier. I feel like I m driving a new truck. This thing tows amazing now. Thanks again fellas for the great service and taking care of me and the fam. I would gladly make the hour long trip back if I ever needed a transmission service again.
