The roof on my 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham had rusted badly mostly due to a poor vinyl top installation years ago. I found that most body shops I went to did not have the metal working skills required to repair/replace the roof. In addition, they did not want to do the work.The people at Russell Auto Restorations had the metal working skills required to do the repair. They repaired the roof on my Cadillac in a professional workmanlike manner. I was pleased with the quality of the repair.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Russell Auto Restorations. I am currently in the process of restoring a classic car that is very near and dear to me.Twenty years ago my stepfather and I were going to restore a 1973 Datsun 240Z together. Some things out of my control happened and the car ended up being kept outside on a farm in the Midwest for twenty years. That s twenty years of Midwest weather doing its worst to a car that already wasn t known for its rust proofing. Flash forward to 2020 and I was finally in a position where I could actually pick up where I left off with the car. I had it shipped down to Florida. Let me tell you, it was in BAD shape when I took it to Dan. He had an honest and up front conversation with me of what it might cost before any work was started.The staff at Russell Auto Restorations are the best in the business! Highly talented and passionate. Lois in the front office is always smiling and keeps meticulous records. Brandon and Ted expertly performed some of the most difficult work in prepping, sanding, welding, floor pan and door installation, just to mention a few. They are fantastic! Rob has done absolutely outstanding metal work on the car. The front end, roof, and the rear hatch all desperately needed rebuilt. His work is incredible! Better than when it was brand new. Dan does an excellent job of keeping me informed of the progress with pictures and videos weekly. Every step is documented. They do things the correct way with no shortcuts. My car is just about ready to be prepped and painted. Dan and I have already talked about our next project together even though the current one isn t finished. I highly recommend Russell Auto Restorations to anyone who wants a quality restoration project done right the first time.

Dan Russell knows his business and he is good at it. His team can do whatever you need or want. My experience was great, and they are very much into detail. The guys at Russell Auto Restorations were awesome. They removed the rust in the cab corners of my truck and replaced it with new sheet metal on my truck. The entire job was completed in less than 30 days.

I scratched and severely bent the front bumper of my BMW 5 series. I had one week to get the damage repaired. Dan and his team not only fixed the damage and perfectly matched the paint but they did it in less than a week. I was originally going to replace the part but Dan recommended that they fix it instead. The cost ended up being less than half the cost of the new part. After 16 months of having him working on the car on and off I decided to pull the project. It had no end in sight and no commitment on when the job would be completed. I was patient enough and the statements being made related to what was causing delays were something I was not willing to continue to deal with. This was a job of not more than 250 hrs. In the end I do not feel I got what I had paid for, but that is my fault for letting it go on so long. Would not recommend.Service: Body & Trim
