Wanting my brakes serviced. I make an appointment online. While sitting, stuck in traffic, I call to let them know I would be about 10 minutes late. I arrive 7 minutes after my time. Check in and take a seat. After an hour I ask for an update. They have yet to touch my vehicle. After another hour (truly) they still have yet to do anything. I am beyond upset as no one seemed to care. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! NO COMMON COURTESY!!!!Update: I emailed the owner per his request. Nothing in return. Another blow to their customer service. The only thing I was hoping for was an apology for wasting my time.

Dropped my vehicle off on saturday. The car was there for 3 days. I was never notified that my car was ready for pick up. I got to the location and saw my car was sitting in a bay with my windows open as someone worked on a vehicle next to it. The outside of my car is completely covered in dust as well as the inside of the car being covered in dust. My vehicle is filthy. Would not recommend this location as they do not care about your vehicle.

I took my car a Mazda CX 5 A Peps Boys on 801 N Military Tr to change the front and rear brakes on 10/25/23On January 19/24 I took it to be inspected because the front brakes were making squealing noises and releasing black residue that could be seen on the rim. They told me that this was normal.Yesterday, 03/24, I took it back and told them that it was impossible to drive like this because there was a risk of a collision. And that the discs were useless due to having installed very low quality brake pads. The response was a resounding refusal to comply with the damage caused and replace the parts, giving me a quote of US$729.92 to do the work.I would like to highlight the disrespectful, rude and lacking empathy of an employee named Jessica, who lacks all the manners and training to serve a customer.I will never use their services again and I hope that this comment serves as a warning to potential users of this company whose quality has completely fallen compared to what it once was.

Made an 8am appointment and they took me directly in. I left the vehicle and they texted me at a little after 9 that the tire puncture repair was complete. Picked up the vehicle and back home before 10. Appreciate their prompt and informative process for making and following through on appointments.

Especially ladies this place is crooked. In 2021 I purchased new tires with rotation and balancing packages. On Wednesday this service was performed, however, the customer service man, who appeared to be professional, tried to sell me $1100.00 cv boot repair that is not necessary. I keep excellent auto repair records and know the condition my car is in. All this after going to 2 other Pepboys who also have forked tongues and lack customer service support. This is the last time I purchase Anything from Pepboys Especially in South Florida.Even the one star rate is too much too give for a deceitful business.

All in all I was satisfied with the work. I've been to pep boys many times before. However the price charged for parts is twice what anybody could pay anywhere else at any auto parts store and that's what was burning me.

With regrets..., Google Fam, I'm about to write my first poor review (NOT my writing, y'all... I'm about to assign a poor grade): DON'T go to this Pep Boys unless you absolutely have NO (and I, mean, NO f---... just... just no) other option (let's stay classy).TRUST ME: Take it to Buddy's Car Care, 1015 Loxahatchee Dr # 10, West Palm Beach, FL 33409----you WILL thank me!Back to the story...While I was glad to find that they were open on Sundays (was in a FIX this past Saturday night...), they seem to not have been affected by the pandemic and are OKAY with making customers feel like their patronage isn't valued (?!).I dropped my truck off Saturday night and returned Sunday morning; a brother in there assured me he'd let me know-----that he couldn't make any promises (fair enough)----but he thought he might get it-in that day, and at the latest the following day......no call either-way by EOD, so I called----he said it didn't get-in, but he'd update me tomorrow (ohh-kay...)Following morning, I arrive----brotha isn't there, but Rick (who saw me the day before) is there; Rick greets me, asks how he can help; I pick up the story from the last call and he smirks as he says "there's no update in the system... he didn't put anything in there...""Okay... will you be able to get it-in today?" "I don't know... when did you bring the car?" (REALLY?!..) "I dropped it off the night before yesterday." "Well, we had other cars here before yours, so we have to take care of them first." "Do you have an idea when you'll know if you will get to it today?" "No." "Listen, I'm not trying to be a jerk; you're the professional; I'm just trying to figure out if I need to pursue another option." He walks to the back, saying "I mean, yours IS next in-line, I just don't know when that will be..." "THAT'S the kind of info I was lookin' for" I yelled back (not disrespectfully... just so he could hear me through the door... more of communication than anger yell). He returned and I said, "I know the other cars are first----does that mean it has to wait to have it plugged-up for a diagnostic?" "Yes... it's not that easy, otherwise anyone could just..."I asked if I would lose my place in line if I borrowed the keys and he replied no.My brother brought his equipment and tested the voltage----confirmed it was the alternator. When I returned to give the keys back, I asked Rick if they would install an alternator if we picked it up, and he shook his head no (deadpan).I walked out with my keys.Within an hour, I had my truck towed to Buddy's Car Care (have I mentioned Buddy's?!); within 2.5 hours I had a diagnostic and pricing; by 3:30 I received a call that my truck was ready, and by 4:35 I had my keys, a nice friendly chat and AN APOLOGY for not finishing it SOONER (REALLY?!)----AND the humility to say a tip wasn't necessary (*but YOU friggin' better TIP my GUY Google Fam!)My truck's running well; if you want to continue to support local businesses, building and maintaining personal relationships, look NO further than Buddy's......but if you get burned by Pep Boys at 800 N Military Trail, it's on YOU, Bruv----'cause, I, TOLD ya!(*Pep Boys, Rick's not a good look, prayer beads and all)

was denied service; the employee matthew refused to service my vehicle stating he can t do anything because my tires are bald and i need new wheels which is beyond stupid, i knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and politely said multiple times i don t want new tires or wheels and if it can just be put on the lift to be looked at. this employee matthew just wanted to earn a commission by trying to sell me new tires and wheels.i left a picture of my tires tread for reference.

Under no circumstances, should you bring your car to any Pep Boys two bad experiences two locations in less than two weeks. This location broke my horn. Picked my car up and drove it off and within the hour I almost got hit and realized my horn didn t work. This is not a Coincidence. Spoke to Jessica the manager and she not only told me that I had to make an appointment but that I would have to pay for it to be fixed. I work A 9 to 5 job So I either have to wait until the weekend driving a week without a horn or drop my car off as they don t make appointments after certain time in the evening. The lack of customer care in any Pep Boys is horrible, but especially this one is a disgrace.

As in a lot of the reviews I see here, my car is currently in the garage on the lift with them refusing to do the repair because I refuse to buy their upsell. Also trying to charge me for a tire I told them not to put on when asked because they refused to do the work I brought it in for. Currently my car is being held hostage on the lift while they make fun of me behind the counter. Stay away

GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT PRICES.The waiting area is clean and spacious.The folks at the desk are not pushy salespeople, at no point did i feel that i was being sold services i did not need. I appreciate that.

Couldn't be more pleased with our tire buying experience at Pep Boys. The website was great in that it showed us what tires were available immediately, and offered quick appointments. The front desk and technician at the Military Trail West Palm Beach Pep Boys were pleasant and provided excellent service!

Jessica is the best! She took good care of me she was pleasant, communicative and helpful. Unfortunately my experience in the beginning was not good I dealt with someone rude and unprofessional.

I don t know how else to put it . The service at this location has always been slow . If you don t leave you car , be prepared to wait almost 3 hours for a routine oil change . Something that should take 20 minutes. If you book an appointment , you might as well come 2 hours after your time and then maybe they can squeeze you in . Very sad

Picked up some tires today - great service with very knowledgeable staff. What you should always do there is ask for the senior discount as it makes a difference with large purchases. It's also a nice place to browse while waiting.

This shop has helped me out of a few really tough spots. They're open late, they will always plug a tire if possible, and if you need a new tire their prices are low. They even helped me once when I locked my keys in the car. Super helpful, always my go-to for tire emergencies!

Called to get some information about a transmission fluid change for my honda civic, which is also on there website as a listed service for $129, to only be told that we dont touch people transmissions call a transmission shop instead, as I proceeded to let the man on the phone know its a listed service on your website i was rudely cutoff mid sentence and then told to have a good day and hung up in my face

Bought four tires from Pep Boys for my Lincoln last month. Dealt with Rich the manager who is perfect. I bought two tires from Amazon for my truck and paid to have Pep Boys install it. Had an appointment at 9 AM. Done with Pierre at the counter sat in the waiting room two hours Before getting up and seeing my truck was parked outside and done. If I hadn t got up and asked, I sure I would ve waited another hour before Pierre decide to let me know. He knew I was there and he knew I needed to get out of there for work. Poor service and poor attitude for sure. Do not recommend Pep Boys anymore.

This place is horrible, the manager I believe his name is Matt, hung up on me while I m trying to find the tires I need for my car, he tried to tell me my car was modified and had the wrong tires on my car as if I didn t know my tire size on my car, this place is worthless and they will literally hang up on you and do nothing to help you, I have it all on voice record for quality assurance as well. I would completely recommend not coming here as the manager is very rude.

Went there a few weeks ago because it appeared my alternator was going. Although the staff was very nice, they assured me that my alternator was getting the correct charge and they would change it if I wanted to at "customer request" but that I didn't need another alternator. They encouraged me to replace this box under the hood which was causing the instrument lights to go on by purchasing it from a 3rd party vs going to the dealership, or I could just deal with the lights and it would mean nothing. I opted to leaving it alone. I was foolish to have trusted them when all signs were pointing to the issue I felt was present.Fast forward to 2-3 weeks later. My car broke down on the side of the road and low and behold it was due to the alternator. Additionally, I had to buy a brand new battery because the one I had was completely drained from the alternator not being replaced when I had an immediate issue. It was 4th of July weekend so all service stations were closed. Could have avoided this completely had it been properly diagnosed. I would never go there again!

I was advised by Rick that I needed new tires that he could have for me at $1900 for the set, I told him that was way too expensive for 275-45-21 Pirelli, he then quoted me at $1588, which I paid.... I got home and received an ad from Pep Boys that has the exact same tires for $1300 which included road hazard protection, alignment and free installation.... I was not offered any if this and was charged a $90 installation fee. I feel so jilted and will never ever do any business with Pep Boys again! If I knew how to add pictures I would post the receipt and the ad....

Had an appointment for a set of 4 tires today but left after waiting there for 12 minutes with no one in line. Rick aswerred the phone twice and helped others and then was extemely rude.It did not take much too walk out of there as I had neglected to check their horrible customer reviews. I breathed a sigh of relief and thank Rick for facilitating our timely "escape"!

I broke down on the interstate 200 miles from my home and had it towed to this location because we have always used pep boys, they installed a new radiator and assured me my car was good to go they had no problem taking $2000 from me, it broke down 3.5 miles away because they didn't connect the hoses correctly, the next day I had it towed back to repair, the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced, the manager was on vacation and the lead didn't even apologize just said this happens, this lead to other issues. I had it moved to another store that was amazing and rectified the situation but the lack of care or empathy from the employees at this location is 100% unacceptable

I made an appointment for an oil change at the earliest possible time, 8am, in the hopes that it would go quickly. It wasn t even as busy as it has been when I ve been there in the past for service, but it took 3 hours for a simple oil change. Brutal experience. Then when I got in my car it said I needed an oil change! I had to then wait on someone to become available to update my system. It only took a few minutes, but after three hours, I was beyond ready to go.

I called this place ahead of time and I asked him what would be the price to install a cabin filter for my car they said $30. I get there and they tell me it's now $52 and since I was already there I said okay I said just do it I'm already here. They installed it and I asked them does the AC work now and they told me that it's still very hot there in the car and only maybe up a couple of degrees and it's still very hot and suggested I come and get the AC looked at and worked on I told him I'll come back after I drive around a bit and see what's going on and I'll make an appointment. I get in the car and I turn the car on and I noticed the climate button was off so I pressed the climate button on and the AC started working. I walked back inside the store and spoke to the gentleman and told him that the AC does work and that you just have to press the AC button on for the AC to come on. Which I thought a mechanic should know. Very disappointed in this place I thought they'd do a good job and give me their professional input. I'm very happy that I always check to make sure before taking anybody's word. I will never come back again nor would I recommend anybody too.
