Great place, great service. Hard to find a good honest auto mechanic these days, especially being a woman. The moment I walked in the door I felt at ease and knew that The owner, Sam at autotrans MD, knew exactly what he was talking about and didn't try to upsell me on extras. My car really didn't need. I'd recommend anybody to take their car there. You're in good hands!!!

I see why these guys have consistent 5-star reviews. I would not look towards any other shop for your transmission needs and even anything beyond transmissions! Sam has a lot of experience and his team is excellent and friendly and honest! I had my 2018 ram 2500 transmission rebuilt.

Shop is big enough to handle the height and length of our 25 ft RV. Prompt service. Reasonable prices. Sam is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen. Jessica in the office is sweet and personable. Both are a pleasure to do business with.

I had a hard time finding a good diesel truck service for my RAM 3500 dually, but Sam is just another level of professionalism!They knew exactly what was the problem replaced the part and my truck was ready in no time!Thank you for the amazing work.I'm extremely satisfied!

I cant recommend these guys enough. After a long battle with ford regarding my 2018 ford f150 transmission they claimed couldn't be fixed, I found Sam and his team. Sam diagnosed the problem over the phone and explained to me that the ford transmission ad a manufacturer default and he knew exactly what to do. My truck is running better now than ever before. Thank you to Sam and the team for your honesty, integrity and great work. Definitely my go to shop now.

Incredible service! They specilaize in 6L80s and my torque converter went. They went through the the whole thing and upfitted it with upgraded parts. Shifts better than brand new. Dropped it off monday night they said id have it back thursday or friday and I got it back Wednesday afternoon! Couldnt recomend enough especially if you have a 6L80.

Honest, reliable, great work. I had an appt to rebuild my transmission when my ac failed me during the hottest weeks this summer. The guys at auto trans md put off my rebuild to fix my ac. Blowing hard and cold now. They gave me some time to reschedule my trans build and we re more than accommodating and helpful to get my needs met for the project. While they were working on my truck something came up that I needed to get the truck for a day earlier than expected. These guys did what they needed to to keep me satisfied, get the work done properly, and have me back on the road when I needed to. They even replaced my entire rear break set up with parts I purchased. Won t ever be taking my truck anywhere else. If you need honest, reliable, proper work done to your vehicle auto trans MD is the way to go. Thanks again guys.

This is the second time we took my daughter's car into Auto Trans MD for repair, and not only did Sam remember us, he treated us just like family. Took the time to thoroughly examine the car, made the repair which thankfully was a simple fix, and she was on her way the same day. I like that this business is privately owned and they go out of their way to do a great job at a fair price. The guys at AutoTrans M.D. are truly professionals at their craft. Sam & Alex have serviced both of my vehicles for over 2+ years now. Mike was the best and Sam was a great back up when Mike was busy! Auto Trans MD is fully transparent about your repairs & price. They give you the dealership quality at a great price! Being new to this state, we had no idea where to go for service on our cars. After experiencing going to the dealership and trying to be convinced of buying a new car after routine maintenance, we realized quickly we needed to find someone locally that we can trust and that would give us honest feedback and also do quality work. Auto Trans M.D. was highly recommended to us and we are so glad we took the advice and sought out Sam's expertise!It can be very intimidating being a woman and going to a mechanic and discussing car issues especially when you do not know much about cars. However, Sam looked at our car, explained everything to us so we can understand and made us feel it was important for us to know exactly what was going on with our vehicle. Right away, we knew Sam was not only a great guy, but his honestly and integrity was exactly what we were looking for. He made us feel so comfortable and we will definitely be back! Mike and Sam are absolutely amazing mechanics. They not only help take care of my car troubles, they are also good honest people. Another shop tried to charge me an absurd price to fix my car. These guys not only gave me a fair rate, they were kind enough to follow me in my car while I returned my rental that was near by. After talking with them and learning about their other services, I found these two strive to maintain the highest level of integrity while providing an equally great level of service. I will be back to see them for anything my car may need. Thank you Mike and Sam!

I had to get some repairs done on my car and was referred here by a friend and I have to say I was extremely impressed, it s not often I leave a review for a business but I really felt they deserved this one. Customer service is great, pricing is honest and fair. My car is getting old and hopefully I won t have anymore problems again soon, but if I do I will definitely be back. Mike and Sam took such good care of my car and thoroughly checked it to resolve the issue. They got my car back to me fixed within the same day I dropped it off. Auto Trans replaced my daughter's transmission in our Nissan Sentra and did a fabulous job. They were very accommodating and the price was very fair. They personally answered the phone and all of my questions when I called, and even found another problem with a cracked engine part which they fixed. Sam has been fixing my cars for years.. was very happy to see him go on his own. Brought my daughter's car in for minor repairs and as always.. he was perfectly professional, & the repairs were limited to what she needed, never tries to price gouge you! Also the shop is bright, clean, & uncluttered. Highly recommend to the community!

Just wanted to give these guys the credit they deserve! I brought my Yukon in for motor mounts and A/C repair! This has to be the best experience I have ever had at Auto shop! Not only were they cheaper than anyone else around they took the time to let me know my tires were cupping and filled the pressure to the correct amount and rotated them for no extra cost! I would recommend these guys to any of my friends and family! Thank you so much Auto Trans! You have a customer for life...

Sam was very accommodating, honest and efficient. Really went above and beyond. What I really liked was them storing my truck inside their shop overnight once they finished working on my truck. Mike and Sam were awesome! Fixed my transmission in only a couple of days. They were super nice and honest! Also, Mike let me know everything that needed to be replaced before going forward. 100% would recommend to anyone

I was really impressed with the level of service Sam and Mike provided. They were able to fix/ rebuild our transmission and water pump in only a couple days and their price was better then all the other shops we were quoted from. I highly recommend this business!

I would personally like to thank Auto Trans M.D. for a great experience. I have had horrible experiences in the past trying to find a good mechanic , but I will not have to look any further. I took my vehicle in for a noise in my transmission and the gentlemen there had me back in my car the following day, which was surprising as another mechanic told me I would need to rent a car for 3-5 days. Normally for a woman at mechanics shop, you are very skeptical, but the price paid was almost 30% less than my original quote and was back in my car quickly. As a result of this great experience, my husband has taken his truck in for a tune-up and have referred 3 of my friends for service. Thank you again Auto Trans!!!

Excellent job on my 2014 GMC. My 6l80 transmission started to tear itself apart. TC shutter and failure. Thanks GM for building a junk trans. But AutoTrans did a complete rebuild and replaced all the garbage parts that came with this transmission and flushed the cooler. They also gave me the option for a HD billet TC for an extra $100. Great deal. I Dropped off the truck Monday night and they were done by Friday afternoon. Truck shifts better than ever and the price was very reasonable. Great place.
