I had my truck towed here last week for what I thought was a transmission issue. Turned out to be an engine issue that I was able to fix myself. They could've easily fixed it themselves and charged me a lot more for a transmission fix. But because of their complete honesty & professionalism, I saved a ton of money. On top of that, they didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. Thank you Dave! You've earned a customer for life.

I've been coming here for about 2 years now. Dave is awesome! He will always do a good job and he's willing to work within your budget. We just had some work done and explained we had a trip planned, he went out of his way to make sure the car is safe for the trip as well as costing us less than we thought. We bring both cars here for work, won't take them anywhere else. And why would I when I've already found the best?

Great service, and great customer service as well. They are top notch workers with excellent skills,and training,very professional and respectful staff.I got a transmission replaced and installed and am very satisfied with the work. I recommend Transmasters to anyone who needs a transmission,,,they also do vehicle repair and maintenance. Took my mom's 06 ford 500 in for diagnostics. They were all very professional and courteous. Explained everything to my mom in easy to understand terms. Dave is going above and beyond all expectations. I highly recommend this company.

Palm bay location: Customer service non existent here, the tech said "bye" to me because he was caught up in lies about my grandmother's vehicle and confronted him. They claim to be transmission masters however they incorrectly diagnosed my grandmother's pontiac grand am. They said it was fixed after replacing a crankshaft seal and sensor. Went to drive it home and guess what same issue and they said it was fixed. Had the car towed back up there and now they say it's the transmission and instead of fixing it they want to have a friend buy it. This is also after having two wheel bearings replaced which was a waste of money since the car isn't worth being fixed. Please dont waste your hard earned money or precious time here. So they basically charged $800 and said the car was fixed which it wasn't then refunded $400 and their friend bought the car for $300. All in all brought the car in to be fixed ended with paying $100 out of pocket and them keeping the car. Scam artists, they prey on old people.

I was stranded in Palm Bay recently. Honda recommended Transmasters & Dave picked up my car & handled everything for me. He did everything he said he would on time & because I was alone in Palm Bay with my parakeet Dave even picked me up at my hotel when my car was done. Written work order & warranty. Awesome!!! As a woman who was stranded & alone I am extremely grateful to Dave!!! He made sure I got home :)Service: Transmission

They have built 2 high performance transmissions for me and I have had no issues. The owner, Billy, has personally picked up the phone at night and on weekends to answer questions. I will not go anywhere else for my transmission needs and I am an hr away. They do the work in a timely manner and the price is more that fare...

It's so rare to come across an honest car shop that the least I can do is give them a 5 star. They took my car in, treated me like I was paying for service when in fact their diagnostic is free, the problem was not a transmission problem but an engine problem and with Dave suggestion am getting the problem fixed at little cost.

This place is a joke. They miss-diagnosed both vehicles I brought in and wasted my time and energy.The first car they told me the distributor needed to be replaced but it ended up being a blown head gasket....The second vehicle I brought them they told me I needed a whole new transmission or mine rebuilt for $2000. It ended up just being the transmission 2-3 solenoid that I fixed for $15.Don t waste your time here.

Awesome shop, managers a really good guy and straight forward. I take my vehicles there for everything from ac to brakes to timing belts. They can basically do it all and do it properly

I delt with Dave, very nice guy. He let me know exactly what happened and showed me the cause. I had them build a performance transmission and they tailored it to my requests. They seem to know their stuff and have a clean shop.

I needed my blazer's transmission rebuilt...wow, expensive...almost $2200.00 !!!Could have had it done for about $1700.00 but Transmasters is established, has been around for years and offers a 3 year parts AND labor guarantee and I figured the extra $$$ was worth it for a guarantee from someone that is more likely to be still be around for the three years...and two days after I got it back, a seal failed, transmission fluid everywhere, engine temp overheating and smoking, that sickly sweet smell of trans fluid.They did fix it but they should have also covered the rental car for that day as it was a failure of work they had done.

Paid for new transmission it was brought in 4 times after it was rebuilt and warranty ran out so went else where and redoing transmission the 5th time and in my warranty said I had updated transmission HD and there was not one HD part in it that I paid for.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Brought my F250 in, shifting arredically found out it was a burnt wire causing the problem. Fixed it up. Didn't try to sell me on a rebuild or anything I didn't need. Would definitely recommend

Palm Bay Transmasters rebuilt my 2001 Jeep transmission and replaced the trans-computer for a fair price. It runs like new Tom is knowledgeable and honest as the day is long. I'm a happy camper.

Held my car for 4 days. I had to call multiple times, and they made dumb excuses every time i called. Very unprofessional, wasted my time. I went to another shop and had the problem diagnosed in 20 minutes.
