I can t say enough great things about this place. Life has been really hard for me and I came in on a tow truck thibnking the worst, crying and just completely defeated. The staff helped me diagnose the car quickly, offered me solutions to get a tire cheaper from elsewhere, and even offered to share their lunch with me. You don t find this kind of honest, genuine service in the car world anymore and I m just so grateful for them saving the day for me (and my pocket). This is a prime example of how simple kindness can really make an impact on a stranger. So thank you!

Great experience. Broke down after hours, had car towed there, called me first thing in the morning, called with problems and estimate . Quick turn around, great business to work with. With definitely return for any needed work.

Paid over $1,000 dollars for a minor (very small) coolant leak and they did NOT fix the issue. I took my car to this place 3 times and they still did not fix the problem. 1st time I picked the car up and it began to over heat so bad it had to be towed back to the shop. My car has NEVER overheated or had any related issues again minor leak was why I brought it here. 2nd time the told me that my thermostat was the issue... not sure I am convinced that was the issue as I suspect they just didn't purge the air out of the system and replenish the coolant. After 5 days the leak began again and I took it back they did diagnose it for no charge but wanted another five hundred plus to "fix" it. I declined. I am not going to pay someone over $1500 and the cost multiple cab rides to and from the shop. My car isn't even worth that much on Facebook Marketplace. Two stars cause they were at least professional but after this experience of not getting my car fixed I am going somewhere else.Service: Auto water leak repair

It was frist time at this auto shop. They keep me informed of what was wrong and what they are going to do. They also were up-front on how much would coast. Now when I pick-up my car I noticed that check engine light was on and came out clear all code that was in the car memory for no extra charge. If need work on my car I well that it there because nice and up-front with everything and when car would be done.

Within a couple of weeks both of our vehicles had issues. It was a rough time and our friend recommended this shop. Friendly service, quick turn around and honest fair pricing -- all things everyone looks for in a mechanic. Thank you.

They're honest with fair prices. The Ford dealership screwed my car up and now it won't stop squeaking but these guys are helping me resolve the matter.

Mr Vail and his crew do a wonderful job every time. I always seem to have an emergency with my truck and they are able to get it in and get me back on the road without breaking the bank. When they recommend another service be done I am confident they have my best interest in mind not just looking to increase their bottom line.Services: Electrical, Engine repairServices: Electrical, Engine repair

I caused some "issues" with my car while trying to install an automatic RV braking assist system into it. Knowing that the repair might become complex, I thought it best to leave it to the experts to fix. I'm glad I did. Brian and his team not only worked with me on getting replacement parts, they fixed the issue, AND they went the extra mile in remounting my bracket used for the braking system. This was a step above for them to do that for me. My car wasn't spotless after they worked on it, but that isn't their job! I was grateful that it was operational as it should be. The only issue I had with the shop was the amount of time it took them to get to the repair. They were swamped with work, so it is understandable. It was great work at the right price!

Honesty is their policy! A rare find these days!I moved to FL from MA 2 years ago and my search for a trustworthy hometown mechanic landed me at Reasonable's doorstep.I have been very pleased with the service and quality of care both my truck and I have received from Reasonable Auto. Both Scott, the service writer and Brian, the owner, are great guys who explain everything in a way you can understand. As a woman I am overly cautious after having mechanics try to rip me off. That would NEVER happen here!Your vehicle is in the best of hands, from simple oil changes to major repairs, with Reasonable Auto!

My 78-year-old friend went in there with her Sunfire and they put a price tag of $1,200 to fix her AC. They said the compressor was bad. She took it to gangas and it was only an electrical issue that cost $300. What a joke!!!

I've used them about 5 times over 6 years. I try to do as much as I can myself, but when I don't have the time or tools I go to Reasonable and I've always been satisfied with the work.Don't expect a red carpet and sweet talking sales staff - instead expect a job done well and honestly. It can be hard to find a trustworthy mechanic shop, but this is one of them.

TLDR: I recommend for their thoroughness, attention to detail, and Reasonable cost. Consider calling ahead because they were very busy when I went.Life story version...I'm a female, new to the area, grew up with handy brothers and a dad who fixed the family cars in our garage. When I sprung a coolant leak on Friday night and realized I couldn't call my dad for car problems anymore I hopped on Google Maps...My car was pouring coolant out onto the driveway and Reasonable Auto Repair was the closest place I could limp my car to. They were very busy when I visited Monday morning and it wasn't looking good for getting my car done quickly, but they did manage to get it finished by Friday. Overall, I think it is a good sign if the shop is busy.Reasonable Auto Repair was thorough. The diagnosis was a failed water pump and they recommended changing the original hoses, which had 95k miles and 24 years on them. A dealer-only piece for one of the hoses was later discovered to require replacement. With the itemized bill, I see the thermostat was also changed (which is in a horrible spot on my 94 Camaro, so I'm thankful that headache is out of the way whether it was faulty or not). The total landed at ~$800, which seems Reasonable!Parts were the largest part of the bill and their pricing on parts looks accurate. If there was any markup on the parts, it was minimal. I've been through a few 94 Camaro's, and the dealer part cost me $128 8 yrs ago... prices change. The bill here says the dealer part was $132. Sounds good to me. Labor charge seems standard assuming 4.5 hrs of work. They live to their name. I recommend.

This shop is fantastic! Good reliable work at very fair prices. Best of all, they don't take advantage of women, and only do the repairs that are actually needed.

My husband and I have used these guys a few times and they're fantastic!! They do great work and they stand behind it! The owner is very polite and knowledgeable and will tell you what's wrong and how to fix it even if it means he's not doing the work! Honest and inexpensive they live up to their name!

Their mechanics are knowledgeable. The problem? Greed. I went there cause I was told by someone from my church they were "christian". Long story short, took car there for a job at agreed on price. They held on the car alllllllll day. I called for status, says there alomost done and changing parts we never agreed on. So they were getting ready to bill me on work i didnt tell them to do. I told them to STOP! So i drove down there right away got my car and left. Paid what we agreed on. Got home, and i see damaged parts in my engine that were not previous damaged. i know cuz i work on my own car a lot. Went to auto parts store and changed those parts my self for like $18 vs the $150 they wanted to charge me.

Very honest mechanic, which is rare these days. Won't sell you anything you don't need. Been going here for years. I even brought my car to this mechanic when I lived in Orlando because they're so honest and reasonably priced! Very highly recommend!

Took my 2002 rav4 in to reasonable. I needed a new serpentine belt, water pump, and oil leak fixed. The leak was around the valve covers. I was sure I was looking at $1000 + but it was only $437 with the tow. Scott and Brian are awesome. I'll never go anywhere else!

You don't understand, NO ONE wants to work on volkswagens, but these guys did and did a GREAT job. I brought them a barely driving car where another mechanic had done an engine swap but failed to finish the job. They traced the wiring issues, recharged the A/C, and tweaked numerous issues. REAL MECHANICS, not a "botique" where "technicians" don't want to get their hands dirty and want $ 200-500 just to plug your car in to diagnose it. I would bring any car I own back to them without hesitation.

Fantastic shop - polite, knowledgeable mechanics, and HONEST as the day is long. I've used them for years, for both repairs on newer cars and for patching up my older ones, and they have never steered me wrong or recommended an unnecessary repair.

It's a shame I can't give a zero or even negative stars rating. So I'm brand new to town. I know no one. It's just me and my sixteen year old son. His vehicle needs a brake job. I went to this place because it was close enough for me to be able to walk back to the house after I dropped it off because my son was in school. Anyway, I walked in the door and was instantly shocked at how indifferent and unfriendly the guy was. This is a guy whose livelihood is dependent upon people choosing to come in and do business with him; not to mention word of mouth from satisfied customers. Let me tell you, I'll take every opportunity to tell everyone I come to know in this area just what a negative experience I had at this place. Go somewhere your business will be welcome and appreciated, This guy apparently has too much business...though he certainly didn't appear to be all that wealthy to me.

If I could go ten stars I would. You not find a more honest and hardworking auto shop. I have been using Reasonable Auto Repair for over 19 years now and every vehicle I have owned. I made the mistake of using another auto shop one time and learned my lesson - I had to go to Reasonable repair shop to fix what the other shop broke!!! It is the one and only auto repair shop you will ever need!!

We are from out of town, visiting relatives, and we were extremely pleased with Reasonable Auto. They did a great job, got us in quick, and did the job for way less than another local repair shop quoted us. Thank you!!
