I stayed for a month last year for work and recently brought my husband to enjoy the riverfront views and Ravine Gardens. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff here consistently goes above and beyond! They truly do their best to help or accommodate the guests. Most notably, we forgot a costly beloved bag/clothes at our recent stay. We were amazed that a housekeeper had turned it in, then Charles helped us locate it. We shipped a box from UPS and they actually repacked and sent it back the next day! We re so grateful to this team for their outstanding customer service! Thank you!

We really enjoying staying here for our boat run. Just a few minor issues that I think with a lil detail, is all it needs. We experienced an issue with what they call sugar ants. I sat my cake wrapped up tight on top of the console the TV sets on, and it got covered with those lil ants quick. Also the reason the drain is slow in the sinks, the stopper is completely trapped with gunk, I cleaned the one but couldn t bring myself to do the other one. All the glass was smeared like someone had taken a wet rag and didn t dry it off. Bed was very comfortable. The place needs a lil attention. Pressure wash the walk ways.Food & drinks: Beef O Brady s is located on the property! We enjoyed our food. And the bar tender in the late evening. That girl can sing! Great atmosphere

First they booked me in a room already occupied imagine those poor folks when I opened their door with what I thought was my room key. Second twice we had to have someone come and unclog your sink and the GFI outlet in bathroom didn't work. Asked for clean towels, shampoo, and regular coffee while we were out. Got towels no trash emptied, shampoo, coffee, bed was still unmade. Been in cheaper hotels had better maid service. Desk service was pleasant maid service terrible. I paid a lot of money for 2 nights expect better.

Yikes! Just no. You could see the outside all around the door, it was a little worrisome, glad it was cold and there were no bugs! The bathroom was so small and hard to maneuver in. The noises were terrible, you could hear traffic, slamming doors, people, garbage pickup at the crack of dawn, too much for a decent night's sleep. And the "full" breakfast was comical, it was much less than most hotels offer.

Wonderful location on St Johns river, Very nice rooms,screened balcony,riverside pool, Beef O'Brady restaurant. Good free breakfast selection with courteous, friendly staff in all areas. Highly recommended. Will do it again. A lot of family oriented fun in Putnam county nearby.Nearby activities: Lake front restaurants and paddle boat and boards rentals available close by.

Our room was not very clean. There was a lot of dust in the drawers. The hangers were installed backward and made it difficult to hang clothes. The AC ran constantly, and the bathtub was icky. The rooms definitely need updating. The free breakfast was just okay. The pool was nice, and I think it was heated, but they didn't put out many towels(4). They did get us more towels when requested. The view was awesome if you got a room at the back of the hotel. The last building does not have an elevator, so be aware that you have to lug your bags up the stairs. Other than traffic noise, it was pretty quiet. We stayed three nights.

We stayed here twice in one week! Our AC wasn t working the way it should and it was super hot at home so we figured why not we got there at 830 pm and the pool closed at 9 but the awesome employee Ashley at the front gave us a few extra minutes to swim! She was amazing and very accommodating. We then enjoyed our stay so much that the following weekend we decided to go back so we could utilize the pool. Everything was great there was a different woman at the front but she was still super sweet and accommodating and we again enjoyed our stay. Well our checkout day was Monday and my three sons and I wanted to swim so we loaded our stuff in our car and swam for a few hours. My five year old had to go number 1 but instead of going in the pool like some kids might he wanted to go to the bathroom. So we get out, dry off and walk to the office. My son is barley hanging in there and running as fast as he could so he didn t pee himself and the older white man working the front was outside smoking, he put his cigarette out and stood in front of the doors and stopped us and said What ya need?!? I was a little flabbergasted at this because A. I m an adult with my children it s not like it s just my kids running around. And B. We could ve been going to Beef O Brady s restaurant, to get drinks or the restroom like we were. There are many different reasons we could ve been going in there m, we didn t need anything from him specifically. I told him and he moved aside but I still found that quite unnecessary. When we pulled in I thought I was in trouble. My wife looked at me and asked " what did you do?" It didn't look great, and there were people arguing right outside the office! But it was late and we were tired so I figured we could get through the night. The room was a king suite. Over 600 square feet. The room was clean, even the carpet, both sides of the room had a/c so the boys had there at one temp, and we had ours. The beds were comfortable, the towels were fresh, the water was hot, and the fridge was cold! Really what more could you ask for. The free breakfast was small but really just fine. Scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, yogurt muffins, cereal, milk, juices. Plus a pancake machine! Never saw one before, it worked great, really good pancakes. And we sat and ate next to a whole wall of windows looking out on the river. Our room faced the river also. Very pleasant helpful staff. So don't judge a book by it's cover, request a room with a river view. As we were walking along the river back to our room after breakfast my youngest said " dad at first I was complaining on the inside, but I'm glad we stayed! Those pancakes were really good and the river is nice!" My friend and I didn't actually rent a room at the Quality Inn Suites we went through there Lobby to go to Beef O'Brady's as we were walking through the lobby we were greeted by everybody at the desk and anybody that was walking through they were very customer friendly the place was beautiful in the lobby and it was a very good location with a beautiful view of the riverfront at the St Johns River

They only provide one cart to transport your clothing to and from your room. If your room is on the water side of the Inn, make sure you have sneakers because like me, I had to make 5 trips to my vehicle to move all my clothing. The breakfast bar is nothing to write home about. The toaster takes forever to pop-up your toast. The eggs are not tasty.

The room said sleeps five and it was one pull out couch (sleeps two) and one queen bed ( sleeps two) so we're not sure where the 5th person was supposed to sleep but we bought a 30$ blow up mattress from Walmart that did the trick. There were also ants in the room so be careful with food being left out. The view of the dock and the river from our room was outstanding, though so points for that.

We walked in the room was great. Everything was clean. Went to dinner and came back to room, to a mess. A piece of the ceiling above the curtain fell to the floor. I called the office and was told they couldn't clean it til tomorrow morning. I paid for 7 days here. All they could do was move us to a smaller room/ bed. I told them no. Want my room cleaned up.

Lovely staff in the evening and even though not a waterfront room it was nice. BUT I couldn't get my feet clean. I was mortified when I noticed I was leaving footprints on the tiles when my feet were wet so I had a shower (and washed the floor). I then noticed later that my feet were filthy again! Three showers in one overnight stay - the carpet was putrid. I was so upset that I had messed up their floor when in fact it was their carpet. For a Quality Inn it was a serious disappointment.

I stayed here for a couple weeks in a row between a house sale and a new permanent place. The location is great for the little city of Palatka. The staff, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was spacious for a single king with working refrigerator, TV and WiFi. The AC struggled a bit in the middle of the Florida day, but that s not a surprise, we all struggle a little around noon here. Being right on the water was great, more people should take advantage of the dock and pool!For the price, this place is perfect.

The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the room was absolutely filthy when we arrived. The beds were made, it appeared clean at first glance. Unfortunately, there were smears of a brown substance on the door, the floors are a dark tile so it's not easy to see the dirt. However it couldn't possibly have been mopped in ages because the floor was so dirty it turned your feet and socks black. The sheets were stained, one bed had sand in it and there were cigarette holes in the sheets. I literally watched one of the laundry employees smoking in the open doorway of the laundry room. The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel is the front desk staff is super friendly and very helpful. However management needs to step up and crack down on smoking and the cleanliness of the hotel. The state of the room that we were assigned was just absolutely unacceptable, and I travel often.

Disappointed. Microwave in room was totally gross from RUST. Didn't find out until late in the night when I tried to use it.Tile floor was filthy as experienced by my husband as he walked barefoot on the tile.Workers staying at the hotel set up their barbecue right outside our big window and partied from 4-10 both nights we were there. This had to be a safety/fire issue. Hotel staff was apparently okay with this behavior.A television premiere was to be broadcasted on CBS, but on the night of the event the hotel CBS channel was blank.Hotel manger has yet to respond to my emails as front desk requested I follow that procedure.

I don t normally leave reviews for hotels, I just look at it as I need a place to sleep and go with it This place is clean clean clean. The view of the water is amazing. Water pressure was on point.The employees were all extremely politeI had a late check out, not once was I rushed.I will stay here againThank you

Usually a great experience. Always have a great room, amazing view and the pier is beautiful. Would give it 5 stars, but the TV only works half the time; always stuck on "TV does not support HD" and cant fix it. The heater did not work last time I was there, but never been an issue before.The lady at the counter is professional, nice, beautiful (That shouldn't matter, but she and the staff deserve the compliment) and just an all around great person. The vending machine will mess up from time to time. Suite rooms are very nice, regular rooms are also really nice.

The photos on the web site sure make it look nice, and to be honest the location on the river is nice, but that is were it ends. I started not feeling well while I was there, a friend suggested I check the Air Condition filters, I did, they were filthy, clearly had no been cleaned in years, then there were the bugs covering the bathroom vanity & desk, I was there for work so using the desk was necessary. I was told they had housekeeping every day, I would have been fine with every couple of days, but as it turned out I had no housekeeping for 8 days, and even when I asked and was told that they would clean it that day, nobody came. Had to ask again the next day before anyone came.But all of the above issues pale in comparison to the billing. I was there on a work rate of $98 per night. According to the manager there was a "glitch" and I was being charged $999.00, and although the manager knew this she choose not to tell me and I found out with a credit alert from Experian. Not the best customer service, she told me it was not their fault and that she corrected it. She did not think I should worry about it, easy for her to say, she is not responsible for my credit card bill, nor does she return this mess of a receipt into her company expense reports. She also mentioned that this must be hard for people who live paycheck to paycheck to deal with? What the heck? What was she implying there? I'm on a business trip and just want a proper receipt and all of the sudden she is making a judgement about me because I don't enjoy being charged $999.00 a night!? Good grief. My advice is go across the Hampton Inn or down the street to the Best Western, but stay far, far away from this hot mess.

when i say this hotel saved our trip, i mean it. right from the start, the lady at the front desk was super nice to us since we had a bad hotel beforehand. she gave us the best rooms she could, right over the pool with a perfect sunrise view. the rooms are VERY clean, staff is super nice, and the overall stay was great. the gym and pool were easy access and were clean, and the breakfast was very good every morning. 10/10 recommend staying here!! :)

Pretty decent for the price.was $135 a night so not a lot is expected. Lol had a Continental breakfast with a cool pancake machine was entertaining. Right on the water has dock allows parking with some exception naturally.Place was clean shower was hot. Perfect spot for a boat right on other side of bridge there is a boat ramp.
