I made an appointment for my car as I felt the transmission was slipping. He put the computer on it and transmission was ok. I had a transmission service done at very reasonable cost. I was told something could be going but not enough to diagnose yet. I promptly drove the car to Ohio for an appointment, then traded it in while there . The service was exceptional, I was fit in between appointments because I was leaving the area. I definitely will go back. Probably for the check engine light on my Smart car!:)Service: Transmission

They were able to get my husband's truck in and fixed with same day service. Great skilled mechanics! Great price! Excellent customer service! I would recommend this place for any auto service needs! I will definitely be a return customer! Thank you JT & Chris you guys are awesome!

My son took his truck in for repair and they did an AMAZING job at a very fair price. They will also be fixing the air on the truck after a mechanic in St Pete made a huge mess overcharged us and never really fixed it. These gentleman are honest and know what they are doing!! Very appreciative.

JT is MY ONE AND ONLY car repair guy and has been since he moved into his current loction. He has done small jobs and large jobs for us.Very reasonable.He's fair, can fix almost anything, and is easy to do business with. Answers questions honestly. Good all around guy.You can shop all over this one horse town and won't find better!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am more than pleased with the service I received from this company. They helped to get a towing company to my home and knowing how upset I was, were so kind and considerate. The work excellent and the people outstanding. I recommend them wholeheartedly! They are an A+ Company! Thank you Tracy and Jason and crew.

John & Michael are awesome: friendly, diligent, and honest. They got me back on the road inside of 24 hours after an alternator failure, for an extremely fair price. Would recommend this shop without hesitation.

I had a massive problem with the AC unit in my 2002 Kia Optima. It would blow air but was not cold, but you could not turn the AC unit off while the car was running - - the grinding would make your hair stand on end. I'm no mechanic, but even I knew this was bad. I called several places in Palatka that are highly rated, this was on a Friday afternoon, and everybody told me to come back on Monday or better yet Tuesday... except CARS. They told me to bring it by and that they would take a quick look at it although they didn't really have time to work on it that afternoon. So I did, and they found the problem right away, called and got a price on the parts and gave me a written estimate on the spot.JT showed me the problem, which was that the front part of the AC unit was about to fall off - he could wiggle it with his hand. I made an appointment for the Tuesday morning the next week, brought it in late Monday afternoon, and JT already had the parts and was ready to go. This was not a small job and took over 6 hours, labor bill was about 250, the whole job $60 cheaper than the estimate b/c JT got a better price on the parts than estimated. I don't know how many repair shops pass that kind of savings on to the customer, but my guess is not many. (If I had gone to any of the other repair shops in town, they wouldn't even have looked at it till Tuesday and I might not have had my car until Thursday or so.)Now it runs like a dream and I've got air conditioning. Now son, this is real service. Great guys, great work and great service. Very highly recommended. Hope this review is helpful.They're on Highway 20, Crill Avenue, in the same building with Auto Barn.

I was doing some work on my 2005 dodge dakota, and i managed to break off part of my oil pressure sensor in the engine block. Took it to these guys and they had it back to me in a day. They had to weld something to the end off it to get it out. I thought they would try to break my bank but the repair cost was very reasonable for everything they had to do. If you need work done try these guys out.

I would recommend them to anyone!! They are awesome! Free A.C. Checks and they are cheapest place I have found for auto repairs. If something is wrong with your car they will find the issue and they have warranty on their services. Shop with themthey look to save you money!!

JT is a great mechanic. Very knowledgeable and he fixed my transmission after another mechanic couldn't figure out the problem.

Jt has done two transmissions for me now on my cars and a whole bunch of work to my truck. I will never go anywhere else he is the best mechanic around and is very honest

This place is the place to go for your car. The guys here are so understanding and reasonable. The prices cannot be beat. I would not go anywhere else for car repairs.

I purchased a used 2000volvo v70 that has the trans replaced here prior to my purchase of the vehicle the previous owner gave me the paperwork for the trans with the warantee would I be able to bring it in under warantee for the trans it seems to be shifting off sometimes
