Rick replaced the idler pulley for a very reasonable price. The shop is clean and the service professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gables Cats to anyone with a JLR vehicle.

I have had the pleasure and more so the respect of knowing Rick for eight years. You will not find a more honest and knowledgeable individual to work on your car. To show how I truly feel about Rick I am taking my 2008 Land Rover LR3 to Palm Coast, Florida from Miami which is a four hour drive to repair a water leak and thoroughly inspect the vehicle for any other issues it may have. It is so difficult to find the right person to work on your car and with Rick it is merely the right choice for peace of mind, cost, dependability and again most important his honesty. I have owned Range Rovers for many years and I can honestly say Rick is the VERY BEST mechanic who has taken care of my vehicles that I have ever had. Currently I have 2 - a Supercharged full size (2008) and a Sport (2010). Rick has taken care of both for me for many years and I simply would not let anyone else touch them! His knowledge is absolutely comprehensive and not only did he give me advice on what needed to be done to keep everything top-top, Rick also provides outstanding advice on what else to pay attention, in a forward looking sense. Ricks pricing is very fair and much more economical than many other shops. His work is THE BEST and his professionalism and commitment to his clients is a very rare thing to find these days. I found Gables Cats through a friend's recommendation. I brought my 2006 Jaguar XJ SV8 Portfolio in for service on 2 occasions. Rick (owner) knows his Jags. He provided excellent diagnosis and service. I will trust him with my rare Jag exclusively from today forward. If you want quality service at a fair price call Rick. You will not regret it!

Noticed a brake noise in wife s Range Rover HSE while traveling from NY to Fl.Found Rickies shop in Ormond Beach and can t say enough about him. Skip the dealership and try Gables Cats Jaguar and Land Rover repair! It is your one stop repair shop for your Land Rover! I had a plethora of issues with my 2014 Range Rover that were diagnosed and corrected. I called up Gables Cats when I was traveling down south in my 1999 Jaguar XK8 and ran into some problems with my car. Rick was able to diagnose what was wrong over the phone like he was looking at the car in person. Even though I couldn't go to his shop, he still went out of his way to help me through the process and diagnosis of the problems that occurred. Without Rick I don't know what I would've done because I still had an hour and a half left on the road. Rick is one of the most knowledgeable people about Jaguars and helped me more over the phone than any other repair shop did when actually looking at the car. I highly recommend his services and will always rely on him if any other problems arise in the future.

I have known Ricky as a customer for over twenty years. The joke is his nickname is "The Truth" he will tell you precisely how much and how hard a repair will be. he may even tell you to sell the car, he can fix it but 'to be truthful' its not worth it to you. Be prepared for a honest encounter. He has never ever over charged me, always been transparent, and always been correct in his determination of the problem. I have over the years had an MGB, TR6, an XJS V12, XJR, and an Aston Martin DB7 which I still have and worked closely with him to rebuild as much of it as possible before he moved north. We had to get a rad made, worked on the alternator which also had to be made, the cooling, the inter cooler, the power steering and much more. His patience with me in dealing with these temperamental cars is amazing. I will be shipping my DB7 to him for more work soon. I trust him 100% and know he stands behind his work 100%. Wish every worker and so called self anointed 'craftsman' had his integrity and skill. Best Robert Plant.PhD.
