We had a great first experience with Abdul and A&D. He diagnosed our dash light issues quickly, had parts FedExed the next morning and had us back on the road the next day. Customer service was great and prices were very reasonable. A&D reminded me of the old mom n pop garages that are friendly and trustworthy. After a few years of living in FL I think we found our new local mechanic. Thanks A&D!

Ladies, this should be your "go to" source for any car repair or maintenance you might need. A&D Auto repair will not take advantage of you and that applies to men too! They are very professional, honest and reasonable. They care a lot about what they are doing and take care of you like family.

Highly recommend! We stayed the night in Ormond Beach and had our gas line cut and gas stolen over night at a hotel. We found A&D and they fix our vehicle and got us back on the road in less than 2 hours. Very reasonably priced. Awesome customer service. Abdul and staff are the best on the beach or mainland. It s not easy finding a good mechanic and I have yet to be disappointed at A&D Auto. They know what they re doing and take great pains to communicate with their customers throughout the process.

Had a leaky tire. Brought it here to have it plugged. My tire was only blown up to half of the reccomended pressure when I picked the truck up. So I had to fill it myself.... Next morning, tire pressure was low. Had to blow it up again. Then on the way home, about 100 miles down the road, my tire light came on and I lost 50psi in a matter of seconds. I managed to find a shop in a hurry, where I was informed that my valve-stem was damaged and leaking, all of my lug nuts were EXTREMELY overtightened, and 2 of my lug nuts were stripped so badly that I could not use them anymore. The new shop also added another patch to thier repair. Would not reccomend. Given 2 stars simply due to the friendly folks, but the repairs aren't worth your time.

My family is on vacation in Daytona Florida from northern NY and my muffler broke off so I stopped to see if they could help me. The mechanic came right out and brought it in to look at it and said he could fix it right off. So I said go ahead and get it done. They are very reasonable on price and I highly recommend them if you need any work done. Thanks againService: Exhaust

Abdul, the owner was very patient with me. He is very knowledgeable he gave me the first truthful information about work I needed done on my car. So when it was done, there were no surprise charges on my bill. He showed me under the hood what the parts were and why I needed them and it was easy to understand. No BS-ING, to or fancy words, just straightforward and clear. And he did good work. I will be back again for the next repair or should I have any questions I'm sure he would be very helpful I really appreciate the honesty you don't get there from anybody anymore. After driving through the smokey mountains to get here, our brakes were shot. We stopped in on a Saturday, and they were able to get us right in. The repair was quick and the price for new brakes was very fair. I highly recommend A and D!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I left my wife and twin boys in Ormond Beach, FL and returned home back to Knoxville, TN. While they were there my wife noticed the car overheating. I googled repair shops in Daytona and this place popped up. She drove the car there and found out it was a clogged radiator. After replacing the radiator he worked overtime due to the thermostat not operating correctly. He stated that he would not let my family leave knowing they could break down heading back to Knoxville. He kept the car overnight. The next morning after opening he had every mechanic look it over in there shop to assure nothing was missed and everything was working correctly. They went above and beyond giving me a peace of mind knowing my family was safe traveling back home to Knoxville Thanks A & D Auto! Quality work, caring people, making sure a family is safe while traveling, and wasn t looking to just make a dollar! Abdul and his staff are awesome! I couldn t be more thankful or pleased with my experience. Fixed my caliper and then some! Very knowledgeable staff! I highly recommend. Also purchased some awesome used beach cruiser bikes for a very reasonable cost! Thanks everyone!

So a few of months ago I brought my scooter to them to be repaired. At the time I gave the guy an extra 50.00 to get the scooter going. It did in fact run but it smells of gas,so I brought it back and I dont know what he did but then it wouldn't run. I live in New England , but have a vacation home here in Daytona. The mechanic was nice enough to bring it to my place in his truck telling me he would take care of it when I'm back.with the covid issue it was a while before we would come back down. The owner didn't give a hoot saying he's short handed and he doesn't work on scooters anymore even though I paid extra in the 1st place for them to fix it and they did not ??? Saying it could be bad gas , where that came from ?? They all knew who I was the mechanic would have done it if the owner said ok. I said I'll be here for 1 week. The arrogance of the owner , he said he'd do it the week after.. terrible service, integrity issues. Do your self a favor go elsewhere !Service: Engine repair

I was in town for a couple days and somehow or another rolled over a nail turning around in a backlot. My rear tire was flat as could be. I had a big night planned and bemoaned having to drive 15 miles on a bad tire to find a Walmart for Fix-a-Flat.Right around the corner was a tiny little spot with "Auto" on the sign. Walked in and the owner directed me to where I could find some repair stuff, but also offered his mechanic's service around the back, which I was eager to see about.Chuck's been there some 30 years he said, and he had me fixed up in ten minutes or less. I was highly impressed, extremely relieved, and hardly inconvenienced at all by the pricing ($10). Amazing local service you might miss if you didn't know any better.Honest, friendly, affordable, fast.

This is very dishonest man,my A/C stop working while driving home to NJ on I 95.Browsing to fix it,only hi Ofer to recharge my system for $70. I come to his place hi wanted only cash for job.I had to walk 1mile to get the money on very hot weather.When I come back hi told me it is not Freon is your compressor and In need $650 to fix it. I said no.Then hi charge $65 for checking.This is the very dishonest person do not go there and waist your money.Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

They are Awesome and pretty quick on their car even on time because, I bring my car for brake pads and changes the rotors in the front this morning and they call me in couple hours and they were done and they did a great job.

I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT THEY ARE GREAT AT A&D. I WAS ON VACATION IN DAYTONA AND MY CAR ACTED UP THIS WAS THE NEAREST SHOP. IT WAS 8 AM AND THEY WERE JUST OPENING UP, THE MECHANIC CAME IN AT 8:30 AND LOOKED AT MY CAR RIGHT AWAY. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY. THE CHARGE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND THE CAR WAS FIXED IN 45 MINUTES. IF YOUR CAR BREAKS DOWN DON'T HESITATE TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

I believe it is alot of wasted space in the store they have that could greatly be utilized as a tackle shop being there are none south of Granada for the fisherman on the beach
