I've had lots of work done by these folks. Usually satisfied. The last time I went, however, they were very vague and unwilling to say they'd stand by their work on a major repair of 6k+. The owner said, "If you wanna hire me to do it, I'll do it..." But he danced around answering my question of "It's a huge job. Do you feel comfortable doing the job?" The repair was absurdly expensive, not their fault (expensive parts and their effort to be thorough), but they seemed to be pricing it and answering my questions with a "We don't want to do this job" kind of attitude. If so, just come out and say it.If you want a tune up or general maintenance, they're good. You often need to make an appointment and wait over a week. They're that good.

I trust Orlando Auto Doctor with all of my automotive maintenance and repair needs. I have been their client for a few years now. Christina will treat you with respect and honesty. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This place is terrible save your money... I do work on my own cars and was stumped when I changed my thermostat on my 2008 Infiniti fx35 and the car would still overheat. The person that worked on it (wouldn't call them a mechanic) said they needed to change the upper and lower thermostats? I questioned this since I know this car doesn't use two thermostat, asked them how much they said $800!!! At that point I said please do not touch my car will be there to pick it up, asked to speak with the guy who worked on my car asked him to show me where the 2nd thermostat is located he couldn't... they pretty much bleed the air out of my system and fixed my car (step I missed my own fault) but if I didn't know a little about cars they would have scammed me out of $800! Beware of this place...

Everything was done professionally. From the phone calls to confirm appointment to the follow-up phone call to confirm estimated costs for approval. To final pick up everything was done professionally. I had been a customer of another local garage for several years. But an estimate for repairs from that garage had me looking to compare costs. What I found was that they were not being completely honest and that the costs were outrageous. What I found in Orlando Auto Doctor was honest work for honest costs. Needed a wheel bearing pressed for my van which I desperately needed to go to work and take my kids home I went to multiple repair shops around downtown orlando was treated like if I was nothing . I kept looking when I found them. Jason demonstrated concern of my situation which I explained!!! He gracefully took it off my hands with no problems no issues Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!! And to top it off it was closing time and I just got there !!! True company again thank you I got to go home !!!I represent the Masonic lodge of Florida and you sir demonstrated everything what it is to take care of your community!!! I also noticed younger staff in the shop which I m sure you re grooming to become a good citizen and great auto technician like yourself!!! Salute to you .

We moved into the Hourglass neighborhood 8 years ago, we have two vehicles and Jason and Christina and their technicians have the best business model for taking care of their customers. And always with a smile. Great family business.

These guys are always great and you can trust them for an honest diagnosis. I was told I needed a new alternator and serpentine belt by two different major chain locations. Ended up taking my car to Orlando Auto Doctor to get the new alternator and they determined I only needed a new battery. They saved me $1000 when they easily could have still gone the alternator route and charged me much much more.

Our 2005 Toyota Camry was leaking coolant. We are relatively new to the area and wanted to find a small family owned shop. We saw the great reviews online and wanted to give them a shot. Towed the car to Orlando Auto Doctor on a Thursday morning. By Friday evening they were able to replace the radiator, oil change, fill/rotate tires, top off all fluids, check brakes & more. Jason and his wife run such an amazing garage with personalized attention to each detail. Jason is a very skilled mechanic. He was knowledgeable about the problems my car had and knew exactly how to fix it permanently without charging me high dealership prices! The AC in our 2011 Prius went out, and we had to find a place to take the car. We read reviews of this place and decided to check it out. They are busy... VERY busy. The office manager took our car info and told us to come back 6 days later at 8 a.m. We did. And the AC was fixed just fine. Based on our experience here, we would definitely recommend this place. My fiance and I have been using this shop for years now. They're honest, don't over charge, and actually do the work necessary to get you going instead of piling on extras like the dealer always did. i.e. My fiance's AC was having issues and the dealership couldn't figure it out. Spent $1600 there and still not fixed. Went back to the dealership and they said it'd be another $2000. Long story short we didn't pay that, took her car to the Orlando Auto Doctor and they charged $60 for freon. We won't go anywhere else.

I always feel really good about my experience with Orlando Auto Doctor. Not only are they super close to where I live, I just feel so grateful to have found them. It's rare to feel so comfortable with your auto mechanic. They do a great job of explaining to me, so I know where I am at, what my car needs and what to expect. It's always a pleasure to come in, I don't dread oil changes and maintenance like I have in the past, I actually enjoy these things now. Thanks Jason and Christina!! I know my Subaru is in good hands with you!

I LOOOVE this place! After years of the Mercedes dealerships, I decided I needed a mechanic I could trust and afford or I needed to get a more common car. I thought because I have a car with all European parts/computer chips that I had to go to Mercedes. I m forced to trust the professionals. It was always stressful trying to make decisions not really knowing what they are talking about. Always being shocked by the cost. So I asked all my clients for a week where they went. The most common answer was Orlando Auto Doctor. I was so excited to learn they can order anything! They can fix anything! I can speak to the mechanic if I want to. But after a year of going here. I just go straight to the office and know they will be fair, it will be finished on time and thank God I don t have to know what they are talking about! Earlier this year I went in to have my front headlight replaced. My mechanic said it just needed to be screwed in tighter. Driving a low car on brick streets had shaken the light loose. They are true tradesmen who take pride in their work and reputations. Customer service is second to none. I have referred several clients to them. Unique cars, older cars, high end cars, they do it all! Small jobs, huge jobs. I have never written a review but I had to for them! Hope this helps

Simply a great place to go if you want good service at a common sense price. Once your warranty runs out on your car you should never have to go to dealerships if at all possible, because of this finding a reliable place to take your car is very important unless you like throwing your cash away.The mechanics here explain "everything" they did and the price breakdown exceptionaly. You might have to drop off your car as they stay busy, but this is not too uncommon.Thank you for solving my intake leak issues!Will definitely return.Special thanks to the office staff and the welcoming canine that also hangs out :).

I recently moved to Orlando and needed to get my car checked because I had a long drive here and also because in my previous city a repair shop had suggested a particular (expensive) fix. I saw the good reviews of Orlando Auto Doctor and decided to visit them. I showed them the recommendation from the other repair shop. They looked over my car (for a small, reasonable fee) and then said I DIDN'T need the repair at the present time. If they were just looking to make money they could have easily said I should get the repair. This episode suggests they are an honest shop and I will definitely visit here again.

Recommended mechanic and staff.Easy to talk to, and you can feel their genuine nature and what they can and will do for your vehicle.Prices are fair, and the work is great.Take heed with the amount of cars they have in their lot, even more so with the number of classics they are trusted with.

Jason was great. Although I'm a female, he didn't speak to me condescendingly about my car. When asked, he patiently explained what was wrong and what the fix was. This garage was recommended to me. Orlando Auto Doctor recently replaced our vehicle tires, rotors and brakes. We dropped the vehicle off mid-morning and picked it up later that afternoon. As has been our previous experience, the work was done well and to our satisfaction. Family owned and operated. They do awesome work and are extremely honest and fair. My son and I have been very happy bringing both vehicles to Auto doctors, and trust Jason, Christina, and crew explicitly. Grateful for businesses like this in our community.
