My son took his car here 4 years ago. Best service and best price. He has a different car now and we will be visiting them yet again for repairs for this car. I trust this shop and will always refer others to them! Great, honest, hard working people! See you all in the near future!

Have taken my car here for a major Motor reseal was pretty satisfied with the work that has been done plan on taking vehicle back in the near future for mechanical adjustments these guys has seemed to be pretty honest guys when it comes down to fixing a situation for better understanding these guys have been alright with me

North American transmission did an excellent job figuring out the problem with my transmission. Yes it took a few times but they stuck by their guns buddy and Ed or just great generous human beings that stuck by their word didn t charge me any extra for the computer that the transmission needed that they stuck to it. They figured it out and didn t charge me one extra penny. Thank you buddy and Ed they honor their warranty like pros so if you have a Mazda, take it to North American transmission they ll figure it outService: Transmission

We are beyond satisfied with this place! Took my car in on a Tuesday and was back driving it by Wednesday. Buddy and Bob were awesome. Great customer service and I could tell they were honest, good people that wanted to help! Go here you will be happy you did!

North American Transmission is the only transmission shop that I have trusted for many years now. Every time I, or send my friends to Buddy with my Google search idea of what is going to be expensive, turns out he knows the issues and saves me a lot of time, money, and headaches. Buddy rebuilt 2 transmissions for both of my vehicles over the past couple of years and I have had no problems since. I had some non transmission related problems with one of my vehicles which 3 other shops were not able to properly diagnose of which I had over $300 in diagnostic fees. Buddy was able to properly diagnose the problems and fixed them, of which I am very, very happy to be driving my vehicle once again. It runs top notch, same as the service I received. I had visited two other transmission shops in the area. Both quoted me a price around 4K for the replacement of my transmission. North American Transmission charge was far less than the previous quotes I had received. I was given the opportunity to pay for the transmission which came from the dealer and when it was delivered I could drop off my vehicle. They completed the work in one day. New transmission almost new car. I would highly recommend them. Bob and Buddy were both great!

North American Transmission did the transmission work on my 1992 Honda Accord. I am very pleased with the work and Buddy's professionalism. The work was done in a timely manner and the price was as quoted.We had a small issue( no fault of Buddy) upon picking up the car. He repaired the problem at no cost to me and also hired someone to repair an electrical issue found after the transmission was repaired at a very small cost to me. This was my first time having a transmission repaired and will only use North American Transmission with any other future problems. Buddy and crew are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything ti me in detail. Thank you Buddy and crew for a well done job. North American Transmission is the OLDEST tranny shop in Central Florida for a reason..Buddy is a ROCK STAR!!!! I took my 2003 Excursion to him yesterday and was having an intermittent problem ONLY in the rain. He knew immediately what it was and INSTEAD of trying to rebuild my tranny and charge me a boat load of money he replaced a sensor and I was good to go!!! Fantastic HONEST people..NEVER hesitate to go see these folks!!!Service: Transmission

Called them to charge the battery in my sister's truck. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it was an emergency and we really needed a good samaritan. My sister has been in a rehab facility for over a year and we have been trying to take care of her medical needs, truck, home, etc. Owner, Buddy charged it without notice or charge and it really helped us get out of a jam. If she keeps the truck, they will get all my business! They don't make businesses like this anymore and I know cause my dad owned an auto business for 20+ years.Service: Battery

These guys are great! If you ever have transmission/clutch problems you HAVE to go here! Very knowledgeable/professional and they have great prices compared with the 'national' companies too. After a transmission re-build, they asked me to come back after 300 or so miles, just to make sure everything is good. See if any adjustments may be needed. I was impressed by that. I've NEVER had any of the larger companies really care about their workmanship after you paid them the big bucks and walked out their door. Good company to work with. JW

My family has used North American Transmission for transmission problems since the 1970s. The current owner is the son of the founder. If you want honest work done with no BS, call North American. They won't sell you something that you don't need. My most recent experience was the rebuild of the transmission in my 2001 Tahoe with four wheel drive. It was done in two days and now drives like new. I moved away, about two hours drive from Orlando, but had the Tahoe towed to them because of the decades of trust, honesty and top notch work.

My second experience with Fred GM and company = HONESTY & Integrity best describe these folks. Instead of removing transmission due to engine light,recommend visit dealer use their proprietary computer then return if problem. How many garages would pass on a $4500 job in the name of honesty?? Thank you...

3 years ago, my old Ford F150 transmission stopped shifting out of 2nd gear. I took it to 2 supposedly reputable transmission garages in the Apopka area. Both told me they "checked the codes" and surmised that I need to have the transmission rebuilt. Both estimates were around $2,200. Something told me to keep looking. Maybe the Holy Spirit (I'm a disciple of Jesus)? I checked out Angie's List and saw the listing for North American. I'm glad I did. Buddy checked out my truck's transmission and told me two things: 1.No one had checked the transmission codes, because the connection was still dirty and you could tell it hadn't been touched. He had the adapter for the old style code reader port. 2. Transmission was ok, but throttle positioning sensor was bad. Bottom line: 1 day, $300 bill. Truck was back on the road.But, he told me that my truck was old (over 20 years) and transmission would need some major work in the future. 3 years later, that day has arrived (June 2019). I'm back to get transmission rebuilt and I know it's going to be done right at a fair price. I've sent family and friends to North American and Buddy and his team take good care of them. If I needed ANYTHING done on my truck, I'd check with Buddy first. He's that good. If you're in the market for transmission work, save yourself a lot of time and grief and go to North American.

I have been using North American Transmission for 20 years for all my vehicle repairs. This shop performs quality repairs in a timely manner. Give them a try next time your vehicle needs work.

This place is GARBAGE spent 3000.00 to have transmission rebuilt the transmission is worse then it was after bringing worked on.Brought it back 3 times and now they will not even look at it even with the 1 year warranty be careful people they will rip you off.Did not even get 50 miles out of a rebuilt transmission like I said GARBAGE COMPLETE SCAM.Moving forward with legal action now.Service: Transmission

I've had quite a few major and minor car repairs from this facility and everytime it is fixed quickly, correctly and at fair price. I will be a customer for life. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. I wont go anywhere else.

Very sketchy business practices. Hires people to do work and the refuses to pay up. Will definitely be reporting to the department of labor. Dont get your work done here because at this they wont be around to honor your warranty.
