Juan is a great mechanic. He can quickly diagnose a problem and get the job done. Upfront and honest, he stands by his work. He has a small garage and is always busy so many times he is difficult to get on the phone but when I brought him the car he always has it done and ready when I get off work.

Juan is an excellent mechanic but more important, he is trust worthy. I have taken mine and my wife's cars there for years and he has not only fixed any issue, but also beat the price of the Toyota dealership where we used to go every time. I absolutely recommend Juan and his auto services. He is an honest, fair, trustworthy mechanic. He is always on standby for any issues with our cars. He is the only mechanic I have found in central orlando who you can go to for a fair priced, honest, great mechanic. My extended family are now regulars as well as us, we have been for 6+ years. I was recommended to go there and was told Juan is a excellent mechanic and I don't doubt it. On the other hand I was told they were a little busy but he could squeeze me in. I was standing outside in the sun for 1hour and 15 minutes and I was never informed by any of the employees or him while they see me waiting there. as courtesy it's common sense to let the client know how long I needed to wait even if it's a little bit of time. Also another car arrived and he started working on it before my simple oil change. I understand if it's busy just give the client courtesy wait time but to bake in the sun for one hour and 15 minutes was not professional at all. very upset.

I trust in Juan's work. He is very knowledgeable and honest. He has been my mechanic for years. I wouldn't change him. Great rates, high quality and great satisfaction. Highly recommend it.

The most honest and knowledgeable car repair man around. My father serviced his fleet of vehicles with Juan and now my vehicles and those of my direct relatives and friends have been serviced by him from minor things (tune up) to major things (complete engine swap) with no hiccups no unnecessary up sells or dilemmas. He even has explained how to maintain a minor oil consumption problem on my current vehicle also explained the source of this information and turned down a repair that was suggested unnecessarily by a dealership. How honest is this man? I would say the most honest mechanic I have ever dealt with .

I took my car in because it was stalling after about 10 minutes of driving. Also I discussed with Juan that I needed rear brakes, but only to install them once the main issue was fixed. I was told about a week later that my car had been fixed and new brakes installed and to come get it. I picked up the car and 10 minutes after driving it stalled again....I had the same issue! I took the car back to Juan and he insisted that it was fixed and reluctantly said he would take another look at it. Another week later I was told the car was fixed. I picked up the car a 2nd time, and what do you know...it stalled again after 10 minutes of driving. At this point I'm done...I picked up the car from the shop. What was supposed to take a few days took about 3 weeks. Through the whole experience, I was told I'll call you tomorrow, I'll call you in two days....and I was never called. I was always the one who would call into the shop. About half the time no one picks up. When going in person, don't expect someone to help you, you'll have to chase after them. Unprofessional. Overall terrible experience. Waste of my money and time.

I've been servicing all of my family's cars at this garage, over the course of nearly 9 years. The owner recently changed the lot name from Coltires Auto Service to Coltech Auto Service, which may help someone trying to reach his shop for the very first time. The area is lightly industrial and not as picturesque as some of the mega-franchises in town, such as Midas, Pep Boys, Tire Kingdom, etc. but I can personally attest that this is one of those rare life exceptions, where the classic adage, "never judge a book by its cover" rings to be remarkably true. The garage is owned and managed by Juan Esguerra, who in my lifelong experience of dealing with all sorts of mechanics(good, mediocre, & downright criminal) over the years; is undoubtedly, the most professional and respectful mechanic, I've come across in Orlando and at large for that matter. He is modest and to the point, and usually has 1 or 2 assistant mechanics out on the floor with him. More importantly, he has the best pricing of virtually anyone in the city. His per hour labor rate is $60, which he rose from only $55 about a year back. If anyone reading this review has experience with garages, you'll know the avg. labor rate per hour is $100+ for an indie mechanic & $140+ for a dealer, and it only goes up from there. Juan is prompt with all his scheduled repairs and even shows you the damaged/removed parts, along with receipts of new parts installed when asked. I can honestly only say that Juan and his garage are top of the line in every way possible, especially considering today's typical garage scams and unnecessarily overpriced repairs. I've been to his shop on dozens of occasions for jobs ranging from $60 to over $900 on all sorts of cars. FYI, he also repairs hybrids for those who are looking to have them serviced. I can only say you won't find a more trustworthy individual in this city for all or your automotive repairs/maintenance. I was surprised to be the first reviewing his business, but did so since I hold so much esteem for him and his transparent business, which truly does NOT abound in this day and age. Do yourself a favor and take the chance to visit him. Sure, he speaks with a slight accent and his workfloor isn't exactly a dealership showroom, but after visiting him you'll definitely regret not having found him any sooner. Thank you again Juan for your resounding sincerity over the years, and overall professionalism regarding your quality work, for my entire family. Thanks again.
