Had a great visit to Advance Auto Parts at LakeUnderhill and Alafaya in Orlando today. The team there, especially Rodrigo, Erik, and Valerie, were super helpful with my car battery hunt. They knew their stuff, gave me solid prices, and made sure I felt good about what I was buying. Really makes a difference when the store s just around the corner and the folks are this awesome. Definitely going back as long as they keep up the good vibes!, at Advanced Auto

I went to this location early this morning because I was having trouble turning on my car. As a single mother who knows nothing about cars, I always find it intimidating walking into places to ask for help. I was there before 8 am and was helped by the manager Winston. He checked my battery and found that it was definitely time to replace it. I purchased the battery as well as replacement bulbs and wipers. He was so kind to change my battery for me as well as my windshield wipers. Aside from that, he was so kind & personable. I am so grateful for his help and kindness. He made my day, which could have easily turned into a bad day without his help.

Over the weekend I came to buy some parts for my vehicle. I m not too car savvy to thoroughly explain what I needed to get. Rodrigo was patient and kind in explaining everything. We need more people like him.

I was having car trouble while on vacation. I stopped in, and these guys were super knowledgeable and helpful. Some tools and dirty hands later problem was resolved and backbto vacation.Thanks for your help.

I was here today because my battery was acting up and I was having trouble starting my car. Elijah took care of me, he checked my battery and yes, it was defective. I had bought the battery at this store before and he kindly looked it up in the system and was able to pull out my receipt, luckily the battery was still under warranty. Elijah was very nice and polite, also answered all my questions.

I was able to return an auto part that had been sitting around for years. The store was not too busy to find help immediately when I walked inside. The store attendances were easy to deal with and friendly.

I callled the store spoke to guy named Winston he advised me to bring the truck to store so they can test out battery and starter and we figured out it was the battery and was under warranty that I was not aware of mr Juan helped with installing new battery and I got my problem solved with no money out of pocket thankful for Winston and Juan s help very much appreciated Great service

Went to get lug nuts for my car today and the woman working there asked make and model of car. Looked a little on her computer then took us to the lug nuts on the shelf and said these are what we have, if you know the size I said you looked it up, what is the size needed? She said it didn t tell her and she had no idea what ones we needed. You call yourself an auto parts store??? Hire some people who know what they are supposed to be selling. If I can t trust them for a simple lug nut, I wouldn t trust them for anything else!! Lost my business smh

I had just bought a Chevy Blazer 2004 and needed a light connector for a trailer. A gentleman named Chris talk to me on the phone and help me when I arrived at the store. He had found me a Hopkins Brand Smart light trailer connector for $9.99 which was a great price and I was concerned that I may possibly not hook it up correctly. It turned out he chose that specific one for me because it has light indicators that let you know that you've gotten power but it made everything easier for me and besides him being professional very kind and had great business ethic I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Thank you Chris and everybody at advance discount Auto parts at lake Underhill and alafaya. Thank you

They are there when I need them. This place is really fast if your talking about service and helping. This advanced auto parts usually isn't crowded and has everything you need for your car. It even has other stuff including batteries and candy if you need a sweet treat. This place is pretty solid though.

Very clean and organized. Many items for your car or truck. I bought wipers and paint I usually go to the one on Sand Lakes. It's the main warehouse. I get better prices from the gang over there. They know me from when I worked at the institution. So they really give me, a much better price and I'd know they have the items I need. Thank you

Quick stop for motor oil, store was neat, and everything was arranged neatly. I didn't have any issues with going into the store and getting what I needed.

My daughter needed to use the restroom so I stopped at the store. The bathrooms were super clean even though it's a shared bathroom (boys/girls). There was a special on the oil and filter combo. I couldn't find the filter. Michael D. was very helpful, he help me locate the filter. Fast in and out.

Received outstanding customer service from Christopher P on January 12th 2022.I had a battery issue and honestly did not know what battery i needed . Christopher took his time with me walked out to my car and looked at the numbers. He then showed me my choices and explained the difference.To top it all off he even installed my new battery for me.Thank you

Staff is amazing. The staff are helpful and understanding, but there is no reason to go here when you can google the part you need and buy it literally anywhere else for way less. My car battery was ~160 dollars here. it was 99-120 elsewhere. That's a ridiculous price difference, but since it died on me as I was driving around to buy a new battery I had no choice really. Never going to do business here again, not because of poor staffing, but because this place is a total rip off.

The store was completely empty except for the woman in line ahead of me, and I still had to wait close to 10 min to check out. The cashier (Jose M.) and the woman just laughed and talked while I waited, and waited. Jose M. never called for someone else to ring me up, or politely ask the woman if he could continue their conversation after he checked me out. Good customer service for her, bad customer service for me.

I have gone here a couple times and several of the employees are fantastic to average. I like Discount to shop for parts I need right away instead of using online means.Today, I went to return a battery we had purchased the night before because I assumed my battery was dead. When I went to change the battery I discovered that it was actually a loose connection (and I should have tried that first but oh well). So I went back to return the new battery. I had removed the red plus cover in anticipation of replacement. The associate Fernando stated that since the red cover was removed they could not resell the battery. I was fine with this, I said if it's your policy not to take the battery back then you don't have to... I can keep the battery for when eventually I need a new one. He said that it wasn't their policy but federal law. He said a bit more but he was slightly yelling at me and I had become frazzled. He asked me if I understood him and I said I did not understand. He then asked for my card and refunded me for the battery. I do not understand why Discount takes the battery back if they are going to have their employee yell at you saying that federal law says they cannot sell it back. Just say batteries are a final sale and fix this whole issue. Fernando was a cruel person to me at that moment. I was not forcing him to return my battery. I just could keep it in a cool/dry place and in a few years break it out when I need a new one. Yet he felt the need to yell at me and make me few dumb.(Even if I am dumb this was not necessary.)

My car broke down and Advanced auto parts is the real mvp. They lended me a battery jump box thing lol and once my car was able to start i drove it back to AAP and Winston helped fix the battery problem even tho i bought the battery from a different vender. Auto zone didnt hook up the battery properly but with no hesitation Winston really really helped me out! made my morning. He was the only one on staff and was running back forth from helping the costumers to me. He made my overall experience easy and stress free. Thank you so much !!

They do everything possible to avoid covering a warranty. You have to jump thru hoops to get what you paid for. Their excuse is, they cant find if in the system.And your warranty already expired. Its not even worth buying from them. Very dissatisfied.
