I had my 2015 Ford Explorer towed to Amoco transmission thinking my transmission went bad after they checked up my vehicle I was told that the axle had broken that connects to my transmission.. thanks to the great work that they do there . I got my car back in just two days. It was a pleasure talking to you Jerry. Letting me know what happened to my car step-by-step.

I am big on customer service and from the initial phone call I made to this place, I knew I would not be disappointed. I had the pleasure of speaking with Curtis. He told me to bring my vehicle in and literally I was in and out within 2 hours or so. We talked, got to know one another and when I say the BEST customer service! I felt like I ve known Curtis all my life. The technician changed out the part and I couldn t be happier. I had another issue that I needed assessed, Curtis had that done and provided me with a quote. Almost two weeks later and I m now ready to get that quoted problem fixed. I spoke to Jerry and I m headed in this morning to take my vehicle to them. I loved their thorough work, excellent customer service and Curtis just simply tells you like it is. He s going to advise you honestly and not just care about making money. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. They are now my go to.

Maybe I can spare someone, this place did terrible work on my car. They charged me twice for a repair that should have been done properly the first go-around. I am not satisfied with my repairs. I feel like my car is worse off then before going to them it's making new noises that weren't there before it was clear to see that they rushed through all the repairs They are too busy for their own good and they will tell you they are busy so the communication was awful they talk a good game when you first get there about how qualified everybody is. But I would not recommend this place to anyone

I want to thank Jerry and his team for, once again, coming through for my daughter. The compassion and incredible kindness to get her quickly back on the road was only surpassed by the cost to do the actual repair. She would have paid so much more at a dealership. Jerry what goes around comes around, my good friend!

Thank you to Jerry at AAMCO for help with my transmission replacement. My Explorer was their guest for a 6 weeks, because I had bought an extended warranty from CarShield and all of their ridiculous procedures and delays. If you want a Extended Warranty, make sure you purchase one from ANY OTHER COMPANY, JUST NOT CARSHIELD! As far as Jerry, he kept me informed, worked with me to try to rush those idiots along. Once Jerry received my replacement transmission, I had my car back in TWO DAYS!!! This is the second car that I have had there for transmission work and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Thanks!!!

All I can say is WOW! My son s car broke down and we had it towed there on 12-4-2023. As busy as they were they diagnosed the car that day. Curtiss called me and explained everything to me in detail. We became friends instantly! He had went above and beyond any shop has ever done for me in 62 years! Mind you I never met this man! If you re looking for a great shop with caring people please don t look any further! Thank you Curtiss and Jerry for being good people with great hearts! UPDATE: Well it s nearly 2 years later and Jerry has come to my rescue again! I got stranded on 408 Monday night due to my car overheating. I got it towed to AAMCO the next morning and Jerry had an answer for what went wrong by lunch time; my radiator broke! He gave me the price breakdown and it was fair, no extra charges like other places try to get you with. He said he d have me back in my own car by Thursday night, and it was ready exactly when he said it would be even with a hiccup (ball joints needed to be replaced as well). Jerry is so knowledgeable and honest, he s the only one I would trust to take my car to while I live in this area. He definitely won t nickel and dime you, he just wants to get you back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. I still can t recommend him enough !!My dad found AAMCO when he was looking for a transmission expert after my previous mechanic told me I needed a new transmission at a cost of $6000. My dad suggested I go get a second opinion from AAMCO after he spoke with Jerry about the issues I described to him and what my old mechanic told me. I had my car towed over to Jerry on 8/3 and he promised to go through my vehicle with a fine tooth comb. Jerry promptly did the diagnosis for my car and found a multitude of issues my previous mechanic never once mentioned even after recently servicing my car. Jerry found obvious issues with my vehicle that were making it inoperable and promptly fixed them, I had my car back by 8/9! Jerry found the actual issues with my car and the repairs ended up costing half of what a new transmission was going to cost me (without even fixing the actual issues!) The service here is honest, kind, and efficient. I can t thank Jerry enough for caring about getting me back on the road quickly and safely. I went from thinking my car would have to be junked to having it up and running within a week! Jerry has made me a customer for life and I can t recommend him and his shop enough!

Honest mechanics unfortunately is an oxymoron in our culture but not at this Ammco. These boys walk the extra mile to give their customers first class service at an honest rate. They earn the Les Grossman REAL trophy for number one transmission shop in town Tell them LES sent you for a surprise while being on the lookout for the "Who Knows The Les Grossman REAL Story?" TV series spin-off from the Tropic Thunder movie

+5 I have to thank these wonderful guy s for such a fast resolution for my vehicle. I have a 2013 Nissan pathfinder and for 5 days a local mechanic was working on it with no successful results. I remember calling Jerry and explaining to him my concerns and the issues that I was having with my vehicle. I dropped it off a Thursday early in the morning and by Friday at 11:30AM I remember getting a phone call issue resolved and you can come get your vehicle I was the happiest women on earth. I was going on vacation and they guaranteed me that I was able to go in my vehicle and that I wouldn t have any issues and they were right. I went and came back from my family vacation and my car is running perfectly fine.I don t know how to thank Jerry and Curt�s for the fast and safe resolution for my vehicle. They made me feel very comfortable with their diagnostics and they were right. I will not hesitate on bringing any other vehicles to their shop or recommending anyone to them.I will see you 2 very soon for my daughter s carAnd thank you so much Jerry & Curtis

My husband just had an amazing service for brake, steering and transmission fluid service. Diagnostic services you can trust.He will definitely see them for his next oil change. I spoke with Jerry over the phone and in person before getting my fianc�'s car looked at. Her car would act like it was in neutral when in reverse, to say the least. Jerry assured us that they would fix it and they did an excellent job doing so. Her car drives great at over 160k miles and we even came back for the courtesy 300 mile follow up. Jerry's customer service was excellent and we got the car back in what felt like no time. I will definitely be recommending anyone I know having any transmission problems in the future.

Curtis was super friendly and a great guy to talk to who really knows his stuff about cars. My car's transmission went out and I tried making an appointment with the Ford dealer down the road only to be told that they couldn't get to my car for over a month and with no replacement car. So when I called AAMCO and was told that they could take my car, I was thrilled. It was completed quickly and it now runs better than when I first bought it. It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but I'd happily go back because I know I can get great service at a fair price.

I have had the most delightful experience bringing my car in to East AAMCO. Curtis and Jerry have been so kind in giving me wise advice concerning the care and maintenance of my car. They are easy to talk with and I feel confident in the work that they do here. They truly care about you as a person and were so helpful. My 2012 Ford Focus was in need of just about everything after having been sitting in a mechanics parking lot for a year trying to get fixed. We finally went to AAMCO Transmission on East Colonial drive, the store with the sign upside down, and met Jerry and Curtis. These two guys were helpful, friendly, had knowledge and wisdom and understanding and did everything the car needed in a week. We were so happy to have our little car back again. Jerry and his team were absolutely wonderful!!! I had an issue with my car stalling and the gears on my steering wheel were not locking into place as they should have been. But Jerry was quite personable gave me honest and genuine answers, and the team assessed my car and had her fixed in a little more than a day. My car runs just like she did beforehand. The repair and communication were very quick, efficient and the prices were affordable. I will definitely be coming back for any car fixtures as well as referring others. These guys are our mechanics since we came to Orlando and we are glad we found them. Curtis and Jerry are a couple of honest people who know their stuff and will stand by their work. They replaced an alternator on my daughter's car and when it went bad again, they replaced it again the next day for no charge. Curtis came over to the house to jump my wife's car twice so we wouldn't have to pay for a tow. When your car breaks it is always stressful, but it helps to have a couple of good guys that you can call. We were vacationing in Orlando when our brand new, recently installed transmission gave out. The folks at AAMCO got our vehicle into their shop within hours of us calling for assistance. The AAMCO crew was fast, responsive, honest, and super friendly. I would like to thank Jerry for taking such good care of my truck. I just moved to the area, and I didn't know of any mechanic to fix my truck. So I called my AAMCO guy Don in Ft. Lauderdale and he recommended this location. I wanted someone I could trust and build a relationship with to fix my car and not rip me off. I felt very comfortable leaving my truck with Jerry, and I would definitely use him again for my repairs. So if anyone needs a great team of mechanics, go see Jerry and the team.

Had an issue with my AC and three different estimates for repair so I was a bit confused. Took it to Jerry after my friend Peter recommended him and problem fixed. Jerry was extremely honest and helpful and was able to get my vehicle in and out in no time. He explained the issues as we discussed previous estimates for repair. His price was compatible or better than the others, but his warranty was more than double what other places were offering. My daughter is away from home at college and heard noises coming from under the hood that concerned her. Jerry was kind enough to take the time to lift the hood and figure out what was going on in a matter of minutes. Then, he spoke to me on the phone and gave me great comfort by explaining how he would take care of her and the car.When your daughter is too far away to help with car problems, it is always a concern that you're going to get your loved one someone that cares and knows what they are doing. Jerry was there for us in our moment of need. We will be sure to remain customers as long as my daughter is living in Orlando!

These guys are great. I have an F-150 with a transmission that gave out at 69,000 miles. Got a real run-around from the Ford Dealer. They could not tell me when the parts would be available. So, my truck was indefinitely unusable. I brought it to AAMCO, they got the parts, fixed the truck, and I was back on the road in three days. Been running great ever since.Service: Transmission

My mom has been going to AAMCO for a few years for minor repairs and they have been amazing with her. This time we needed a lot of work done on her car Curt, Curtis, & Jerry showed exceptional care for my 81 year old mother. I completely trust these men with not only my moms 97 Tercel but with any car we will take to them if needed. I can t thank them enough. I brought my car there to be diagnosed/fixed and sadly, they were not honest with the results. I was just told the transmission oil was burned.They quoted me 4,995 for a new transmission. dollars. I went to another location and they gave the accurate diagnostic with a price of $750 to fix it. Now my car is working perfectly. I would not recommend this place.Service: Transmission
