I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! They came highly recommended and did NOT disappoint, they are professional knowledgeable and good people. When Jeff Hill realized he couldn't fix my cars issue without more extensive repairs he didn't even want to charge me for the work he'd done! I will ONLY bring my car to Hill Automotive.

A girl's savior! After being charged $600 by the dealership for 2 diagnostics and a new battery, my check engine light came back on the next day. I took it to Hill, no charge to look at it! I felt Jeff was very honest with me! Got the work done in one day, which is super important for a single mom with kids in school! I definitely found my new car shop!

Excellent customer service James! I called yesterday & you honestly said "It might get done by Friday" So I dropped off at 1130 this morning & James was calling before 5! My Big Boi was ready!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!I recently relocated to Jacksonville and don't know anyone here to ask for recommendations. SO... I had my rear brakes replaced at "PB", costing me over $500. Shortly after that, my car developed a loud and concerning rattle in the back. I took my car back there and they could not find the cause of the loud rattle and recommended new shocks and that cost me over $400 and yet, the rattle remained. Being dissatisfied, I went somewhere else. They replaced sway bar couplings and bushings... the rattle remained!!I called around and from phone calls alone, eliminated several shops just from their attitudes on the phone!THEN, I FOUND HILL AUTOMOTIVE!!James, his technicians and Jeff (the owner) collaborated for hour and hours at NO CHARGE until they discovered the problem... The $500 faulty installation at "PB" BRAKE PAD SPRINGS WERE MISSING!!I instructed Hill Auto techs to remove the 4 month old brake pads from "PB" and install brand new ones.My charge from Hill WAS NOT $500... MY BILL WAS ONLY $231 INCLUDING TAX!!! LESS than half the price that "PB" charged me!! And Hill Automotive INCLUDED AND CORRECTLY INSTALLED THE SPRINGS!! RATTLE GONE!!I am now a loyal Hill Automotive customer for life... and YOU should be too!!

I bought a used car 3 days ago and checked the car today with Jesse and Mike. They found oil leakage bottom of the car actively leaking, and transmission was fixed terribly. Thanks to them I am returning this car to scammer (auto boutique in jax). Thank you again you guys saved my life. These guys are great! Honesty goes a far distance in my book and greatly appreciated! I've used their shop twice in the past. Very reasonable. Although they couldn't find my issue, he was honest with me and gave me some good advice to try before I go to the dealership! I broke down going home to SC from a Jaguar game with my car over heating. we looked up a local place that had good reviews, I chose Hill automotive. this is an honest man. What I thought could be a big problem and cost a lot was a minor problem. I know if some people to take it vantage of out of state cars that break down. But Hills automotive is very honest and great prices

I took my vehicle to get an estimate and repair. Was told, with a quick look over, he could see there was most likely more issues and it would need a more thorough inspection . That was the last time I spoke to anyone. Two months passed and my vehicle just sat there entire time. I never received a call from anyone. I went to pick my vehicle up and the mechanic at the desk didn't know anything about it. I just took it to another shop. I HATE leaving bad reviews, but I felt like it was the most unprofessional situation I've ever experienced.

When I'm unable to handle any vehicle repairs or maintenance myself I always turn to Hill Automotive for anything I need which I feel I can handle myself. These guys are honest in their work and fair in their prices and above all Hill will NOT give you any kind of run around or try to get over on you with stating you other [unnecessary] repairs. Very professional and courteous compared to other Automotive mechanics in the area. I will continue to use Hill Automotive for my vehicle needs!

Automotive repairs is an area where customers can easily be cheated because the automotive repairman could spin the verdict of what's wrong with your vehicle and you'd never know the truth. I trust Hill Automotive 100% because (1) they were referred to me by trustworthy people and (2) they have proved that they are trustworthy over time and (3) they have helped repair vehicles for needy people in our community without charging a dime. That is very rare.

I had taken my car to 4 other places including the dealership and none could tell me what was wrong with it or that they couldn t fix it. Hill Automotive identified the problem, and fixed it, and was very reasonably priced. I will take all my cars here and recommend them to anyone. They took my car and fixed what was wrong and since the problem was deeper (and ended up being more than the car is worth) they told me the truth and didn't charge me for looking and working. I am so thankful and will never go to anyone else!

I'm from out of state, i purchased a truck off an individual near this shop and i contacted James at Hill to do an inspection of the truck before i bought it since i was shipping the truck to me and couldn't look at it myself. They looked it over for me gave me and honest opinion and even when i said i wanted to pay they said no and did it for free. I am very grateful for that.

I am a widow and Hill Automotive does not take advantage of me or any women. The work is great and fast and the guys are friendly and tell me what they are doing to my car. I won't take my car anywhere else.
