I choose this location through a claim process AND doing my research on Reviews. So I must leave my own review . My experience went well. Dropped off on a Wednesday and picked up 9 days later on a Friday.. Missy was very kind in the process and my car is lookin good.

This company was awesome! My first time in the office, I was acknowledged immediately. They wrapped the damaged area to prevent water from getting in until it was time to bring the car in for repair. From the moment my vehicle was placed on the lot until the time I picked it up the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and informed. I got continuous updates on any plans and problems with my vehicle. Staff made sure all my questions were answered and I was well taken care of! The technician did an outstanding job on repairing my vehicle. I am more than satisfied with my experience at Gerber Collision on Park Ave and would recommend to anyone!

Was low speed rear-ended, minor damage, Gerber listed non-existent damage (fraud) and crazy jacked up costs causing State Farm to total my Mint Condition truck. I'm 69yr old Woman and saved up to buy this truck to drive till I die. Now They are trying to steal my truck so they can fix and resell with minor losses.1. $717 for instrument panel that's not damaged (Fraud)2. $1638 to fix small dent (insane)3. $400 for 2 Reconditioned Emblems (Mine were not damaged and reusable; Fraud)4. $592 to fix small crack on bottom of front bumper by fog light.Two pages of ridiculousness. I have contacted the Florida Ins. Reg. Office and submitted their fraudulent "estimate of damages".R. Collinson

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very helpful. I was upset due to my car being wrecked but after being promptly updated on the different stages of my car being fixed and explained the whole process before, during and after my car was fixed, it was a breeze. As far the the body work on the car my 2021 Nissan Rogue looked like nothing ever happen to it, car was cleaned inside and out before returning it to me And they conveniently communicate via text and respond quickly to questions. I will use them again and will definitely refer them to others.

Our truck had a lot of damage but it was only surface. Gerber collision and glass did a bang-up job getting it back to looking like a brand new truck. We appreciate their work!

Was an insurance claim from an accident. After I was notified to pick up my vehicle after 2 months waiting on parts. I get to the location I dropped it off at and my car was not there it was at the St Augustine location. Ugh. I had just returned the rental prior to picking my car up bc my insurance and Enterprise told me I had to or else be charged for a other day. Gerber finally got my car there that day but missing work and paying for Uber was not in the plan. Not the end. After picking up the vehicle and halfway to work I noticed my upholstery in in the car was covered in a fine mist of white spray. All over. The paint fumes were overwhelming. Who would like to have received there vehicle back in this condition? And why would a well established company like Gerber hand back a vehicle in this condition? Not a happy customer.

Gave this company a second chance and I got disappointed again. Will never use this company again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone that ask me about them. Thanks for nothing. Didn't understand how someone could tell you they could have your part in 3 days but then tell the insurance company that my vehicle will not be worked on until August but setup an appointment to work on vehicle first June. I got it. Thanks for nothing.

Went to them after an accident to my front driver side that was being covered by the others parties insurance. Was told the repairs could not be made unless I fix the minor bump I had to the passenger side fender. They completely screwed me by double charging me for the same work they did to my left side. Save your money and go somewhere else. After all was said, the paint colors still didn t match up, and was charged for parts that weren t even broke in the first place.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Worse customer service from estimators. They don't need your business. They are too busy on their cell phones to get up from their desk. Make you wait 20 minutes even if you have an appointment. " If you want a repair, they have to fit you in. You can always go somewhere else. " that what they say.

Do not trust them on their estimates, especially when they say they will fix everything, no they will not fix everything. I waited since November for my car to be repaired and it's not even completely fixed. Then they're rushing you to pay your deductible before you even see your car. Terrible experience.

Staff members are nice and are understanding. They warranty their work and will stand by it. This is good because I've had to drive the 15+ miles to the shop 3 times for different things that were wrong with my car after they fixed it up. They are quick to fix any issues you have after the initial repair, but the repair itself is seldom completed as early as they say. Their repair work is average. I'd only recommend if you have time and gas to spare.

Showed up on time for a scheduled appointment, the receptionist blamed not being able to honor the appointment on the insurance company booking them incorrectly. The receptionist was not very helpful. Had to drive my damaged vehicle in foul weather to find out they couldn t honor an appointment, a courtesy call would ve been nice.

I had a guy named Demetrius came to replace my wind shield at my place of employment. It was a wonderful experience. He was very polite and professional. I could not stay with him at the car as I was on the clock working, but he took care of everything and locked my doors for me when he was finished. The work was flawless and clean, and he didn't leave a spec of evidence that he was even there when he was done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing assistance with auto glass issues. Thank you for a great experience!

Scheduled an estimate with them. They didn't take pictures or approve the estimate. Person who usually does estimates took a lunch break when my appointment was SCHEDULED. I am a day away from supposed to be able to drop off my car and have it repaired. Insurance will not cover rental until after Gerber submits estimate. No way am I using them. Very unprofessional when I went in for estimate.

So far my experience isn't going well. I think it's super unprofessional to have an automated report generated that tells your customers it's gonna take 21 days to fix. To me it just shows that you're just a number to these people. Then when I call they have no time frame, no reference as to when my car is going to be fixed. She tells me maybe 17 days. How's that any better than 21??? She said they give me 4 hours a day to work on my vehicle. So my jobs about 17 days out. What? I had a bent rim and a couple panels that needed to be replaced as far as I could see. This isn't like some major overhaul. I cannot afford to rent a car for a whole month. I'm starting to think they are insurance scammers.

This is not a serious business at all, I was there looking for an estimate (I was told to go by USAA) and they sent me an email for 6600 dollars, then I decided not to repair my car with them and they sent another estimate to USAA (did not notify me of the second email) for 500 dollars less as you can see on the pictures. DON'T COME HERE FOR ESTIMATES THESE PEOPLE WORK TO FAVOR INSURANCE COMPANIES. The name of the guy is Jasmine (make no mistake Jasmine is his name) MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU is you don't listen to my advice. Now I'll have to pay out pocket. Avoid like a plague.

So, I could give you the whole hilarious story but that does nothing for the review. Just to fast forward to the good part after a long day of dealing with someone backing into us on a mini vacation in Tampa with some family by the time we got to the claims process of picking a body shop we were playing beer pong reading all the bad b.s. reviews . Based on those we reviews we made a lot of jokes about not going to them if when we scheduled the estimate Sara answered the phone. To Sara, if your reading this sorry. Sara is the only person we spoke with through the process and even sent us text every couple of days to keep us up-to-date on the process. She was professional, understanding, and courteous. We were very pleased with the work on our vehicle and the whole process.

I have used this Gerber location now twice. Both experiences were very pleasant. The office staff is so friendly over the phone and in person. I received text updates and my car has looked as new when repairs are done. I'd recommended this place to anyone!

If you can find any other collision company to take your car to then by any means. Please do. Use the 1077 Blanding location instead. I was in an accident which is stressful already plus being pregnant and at first things were okay. They make twice weekly calls to update you on the status of the car. It got to the point where each status update call I was being told Pick it up today, now that changes. No pick it up tomorrow, now that changed too. Today , Sara is by far the snottiest and rudest customer service agent I have ever had encountered. She told me yesterday my car would be ready In the morning and it is not. When I called she got an attitude as if I ve been the one promising a date of completion. She hangs up when she s frustrated and it s amazing no one has said anything to her yet. This is a classic case of a Collision center trumping up charges on an insurance claim and getting mad because I m calling it out. All they said that needs to be done is an alignment. That doesn t take 4 days to complete.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

All I can say is WOW, the customer service was outstanding. Amanda handled my claim and was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The work on my truck was more of the same .... outstanding!!! I would highly recommended them!

It's not even deserving of a single star, but no stars is not an option. The communications is less than par. Text messages never being received, dates being moved, wrong parts being ordered. Something I didn't know when you have Progressive they come and do their own damage estimate and the repair place doesn't write that. WELL.......if the receptionist wasn't so darn rude and lazy that might have been explained to me. I go too drop off my vehicle and no information was gathered, no one even was going to put eyes on my car (which had the doors removed and was just sitting out for all to see) until I started questioning the process. THEN.......a week after the parts were sent to paint.....I still don't have my car back. (which apparently it went to paint on a Wednesday and out of paint on a Thursday. It is now Tuesday and NO CAR!!!!!! They have had my vehicle for 2 weeks. (For a door repair. Not saying it was a simple repair, BUT we had a front end collision on our truck which only a little over a week to repair) This morning they said they would have it for delivery this afternoon......but now they are saying that the part they ordered was the wrong part, oops...... and now it will be another day. Not to mention that the claims adjustor contacted Gerber and confirmed delivery for TODAY! I am paying out of pocket for a rental that keeps getting extended and extended. Another day of rental because of their mistake. I will NEVER recommend this location or this company to anyone. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to picking this company. Lesson learned for sure.

If you take any pride in your car don t take it to this location. Took my car in for PDR and as if the 3 week process wasn t bad enough I was given my car back with horrendous spider webbing on my brand new paint. When asked about it was told that was not there responsibility to fix as they had outsourced to fix my PDR. Very unprofessional to say the least save your time and find a different place to get work done. Your car will thank you.5/11- Just too show you guys not even a returned phone call two weeks later the whole staffs full of it. Learn from my loss find a different shop.
