Thank you, Brian Roy. Brian asked me what I was looking for and what I needed and he delivered. The entire staff was friendly. Nice talking to Mike G. On familiar interests and familiar people that we both know. Louis was able to get the deal done and saved us money. My family is very thankful.

I'm rather new to this RV world.I had to stop in General RV because I was having generator batteries issues. They got me in and out of there without an appointment in a very short period of time. Everybody was friendly, informative, and helpful.Oh and they have some very nice rigs on the lot!!

Not great not horrible.Brian our seller guy was friendly upfront. Acted like he didn't know us later. Didn't respond to texts even when we had yet to buy.Finance guy was pretty straight forward, loved him. Only reason we went through with it.Repairs needed to be made and they left out a part meant for our package. Said they ordered it. No word on repair or left out part.I don't regret buying here but probably wouldn't advise friends to go here.

My husband and I just purchased our Brinkley Model Z 2900 From Kelly Mclean at General RV in Jacksonville Florida. We met Kelly at the RV show in Tampa Florida January 2024. She was a great listener and lead us to thinking out of the box. We made 2 attempts with Kelly to purchase a 5th wheel but realized it was not the right one for us. She was a rock star sales person in letting us discover a better option and extremely quick to answer questions about the unit. When the unit came in, she was proactive and actually went on the 5th wheel to send us pictures so we could be assured this was the right one with the features we desired. Our home location is 4 hours south of Jacksonville General RV and she accommodated us as if we physically there. From the minute we secured the deal the General RV staff at Jacksonville operated at a supportive team.Communication was outstanding with the team that helped bring us to closing. Scott Mcleod the finance man was wonderful to work with. He communicated with me daily by phone, email and text. I understood all of our obligations and the products that General RV offered. On the day of pick-up Scott had his day off. Stephen was our final signing and closing agent. He did a great job! Both were friendly, professional and easy to work with.Anne Reddish, the Delivery Coordinator, was in touch with me daily and greeted us upon arrival. She made sure the process was set up and went smoothly. Once we arrived at General RV Octavia kept the process rolling through out the day with walk through, parts and installation. Both were welcoming and great to work with.Travis, the Walk-Through Specialist, was downright fun! He spent time educating on us the unit and allotted time for our questions. He also composed a list per our inspection of any requests or fixes that they would take care of that day. We never felt rushed and grateful for his patience. He was knowledgeable of our unit and its operation.Vade and Chuck in the Service Department were so helpful in making sure we were correctly outfitted for travel. We needed the correct Goose Box to hitch with our truck. They were knowledgeable and did not leave our side until the job was done. Chuck worked with my husband with the hitching process until he was successful. The girls in the General RV store were also knowledgeable on the power cord options that would work for us. They were both helpful and friendly.About our Brinkley Model Z 2900 Wow! We love it! We have officially camped on it 3 days and marvel at the great quality and finishes on this model. The interior and exterior design are cutting edge, with thoughtful functionality. We are well set for fun!In summary we are so pleased with our experience with General RV Jacksonville, Kelly and the team that we have recommended them to our friends. They are also interested in the Brinkley, a great choice!

Buyer beware. Promises not kept when purchasing used motorhome. I purchased my 2021 Thor motorhome in July 2023. Walk through issues were listed and supposed to be fixed prior to taking custody of my unit. Lower bunkbed window blind was broken and I was told that they ordered a replacement at that time and they would call me when it came in. Someone dropped the ball back then and I continue to get the runaround with no replacement. They tell me it's on backorder but they cannot provide me a tracking number or an expected delivery date. This is a childs bed and I had to cut the cords from the shade so my 3 year old grandson would not get caught in them and strangle himself.Very disappointed in General rv Orange Park's lack of customer service after sell.UPDATE: I finally received a call from the owner of General RV last month and he informed me that my part finally was delivered to them and he had it overnight delivered to my home. I appreciated the fact that that the owner called and sent it to my home, but it seems to me, it took me writing a bad review and waiting six months to get the part. I will leave it up to the readers of this review to determine if you want to do business with General RV. I added 1 star for the owner calling about my issue.

This was the first time my wife and I purchase a new RV. After almost a year of doing our research and whether to buy used or new. General RV went the extra mile to find the RV we wanted and offered it at an irresistible low price! Everyone was amazing, positive and knowledgeable! Anne and Octavia were always available and if they weren t they would call me right back. They kept me informed on our RV and its arrival and what to expect next. When our RV arrived Anne called and scheduled our walk through and we actually set up an inspection of our own. Anne was very accommodating and made sure their service technicians had everything setup and ready for our inspector. On the day of our walk through we met with Octavia who introduced us to Kyle. Kyle was our tour guide and instructor on how everything functioned. Kyle was super star ! He was very thorough and patient with us, making sure my family and I were very comfortable with the understanding of how everything worked on our new RV! We also met with Will, manager of the service department, who also was very helpful in explaining some minor details in some items found during our inspection. Our inspector said Will was there during the inspection and fixing any minor things found that happened during transport of our RV to General RV. This was the first time my wife and I purchased RV and we highly recommend General RV!!

Had a fantastic experience with the folks at General RV Jacksonville. Recently purchased a New Holiday Rambler Nautica 33TL. Our shakedown trip was from Michigan to Florida. Being new to the RV coupled with the recent intense traffic made our maiden voyage pretty stressful. So, on our second day on the road, our new Control Panel went south on us. Being that it controls everything on the RV, we were a bit screwed. Fortunately directly on our route was General RV in Jacksonville. We called right away and spoke with Kathy, who couldn t have been nicer and accommodating. We were scheduled in for the next morning at 1100. Arrived and met our Service Advisor Ashley Lyon. Ashley put a team on the vehicle and within a 3 hour span, solved the problem as well as going through a few other items we had mentioned. On top of that, she and the team had our New RV washed from 1200 miles of serious road grime. The Techs (must apologize for not remembering their names) were extremely helpful in explaining what had happened, the fix, and what to do should it happen again. They literally saved our trip and we are extremely grateful. Kudos to General RV. We did purchase our Holiday Rambler from General RV Wayland MI and happy we did because support is a huge factor for us.

Just purchased a BRAND NEW 2024 Grand Design and it was delivered to us, on Feb 2, with water intrusion and 3 broken tail lights! We spent 7 hours at the Service Center last week, and are now having to drop it in for its first service call, and we haven't even used it yet! We have water damage and mold in the wall that has tripled in size in less than 4 weeks and the only thing being repaired is the wallpaper. Water intrusion is the number one cause of RV issues and General RV should trade out our trailer for a new one, or at least, replace the walls and structure that has been damaged so that we don't have future issues. Replacing wallpaper will not correct this! MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have emailed and reached out the the Sales Manager multiple times, with NO RESPONSE. The Customer Service and follow-up from this dealership has been absolutely terrible. They are not taking responsibility for this issue and we have now been left with a Brand New RV with issues. I DO NOT recommend buying from them. Go somewhere else where they actually CARE about their customer!

I purchased a new Grand Design 2800BS from General RV during the RV show. I was very impressed with General RVs sales team, especially Tyler R Maloy. Tyler was very professional and polite. He was knowledgeable about the camper and was able to answer any questions I had about the camper. The price was very reasonable too.I would highly recommend General RV for your RV needs.

**UPDATE**I was contacted by a higher up at the dealership today, 3/13. They are working with me on getting the warranty items taken care of so that is a good start and have updated the rating. Will continue to post updates as things move forward.I don't typically write reviews but our experience has been so bad here that I hope it helps someone else from having to deal with this dealership. I would stay away! We purchased our RV back in 2022 after seeing it at the RV show here in Jax. Once they have your money though the customer service goes out the window. There were several items that were broke and needing repair and over two years later we still do not have them resolved. You bring your RV in, they take pictures and write things down. But somehow your parts never get put on order and the issues don't get fixed. A couple of the items that needed to be replaced due to being defective were not replaced, but jerry-rigged and marked down as completed. I have called so many times and keep getting the run around from the dealership. Forget about being contacted back by a service manager or general manager as they never call back and are not accessible. Even the service folks tell you that they will call you back to schedule and theynever do. I am still trying to get warranty work completed that was marked down back in 2022 and am at a loss for the lack of customer service. We even paid extra for the paint warranty and have yet to get those repairs completed as well. To be fair, they did replace a bent jack on one of my visits but the many documented items are still outstanding. This has gotten to the point where we will be filing a customer complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding not doing valid warranty work and giving us the continual run around.Just terrible!

This place has a huge inventory, and if you don't know what you want or need, the folks here will take the time to help you with that. Brian Roy showed us around last weekend and for all of the options we were considering, he was great about pointing out the pros and cons for our particular situation. He and all the other folks we spoke to that day were very helpful and friendly. We did not end up buying that day, but we would definitely give this place another try when/if we are ready to shop again.

Do not deal with this location in Jacksonville. I have had a terrible experience. We tried to purchase an RV last week. They asked for a $5000 deposit before they would check financing. The financing came back higher than they lead us to believe. I told them I wasn't buying the RV. Since then they have tried to say that our deposit was non-refundable. Sent me what I had signed and the deposit wasn't even in the paperwork, didn't matter, they are still saying the deposit is non-refundable. Check the Yelp reviews on this place, I wish I had!

UserAllan Lee SchlegelMy salesman Jim was fantastic and is always willing to help even after the sale. Service department was amazing from Kathi at the front desk to my service advisor Ashley Lyon who explained everything to me as well as some of the operating procedures of my RV. She was a delight to work with and what a professional. Parts department Sandy Mitchell also was a huge help with looking up my refrigerator and explaining the operating system to me. They treated me like family thank you Mr Detrick for having such a wonderful group of personnel being a part of your team. Keep them camping!

Very thorough with the walk through. Wilson (I may have the name wrong) did a great job. Kenny D was so helpful with hitching tips and handled all the electronics for my 2024 including inputting measurements so my tow package was aligned. Too bad we missed Sondra. She did an amazing job finding what we wanted.

I highly recommend General RV Jacksonville for your RV service needs. I spent months trying to get a problem resolved. They had me on the road running in 24 hours, and it only took that long because I requested overnight testing of an AC replacement. I didn t purchase my rig from them, but I wish I did. The team is responsive, did exactly what they promised, and have my respect and appreciation.

I drove 200 miles because they had the largest selection of RVs in the price/style I was looking for. The sales guy was nice. Upon purchase, I was then informed I would need to drive all the way back up to check it the following day before it could be delivered. Upon that inspection the following day. The grey and black takes showed full. He said it would be emptied before they delivered it. They delivered, broke the ceiling fan cover. The black & gray tanks continue to show full because the sensors are broken. The black water valve is broken. When I called about not getting the keys to an exterior panel, I was told to pry it open with a screwdriver and get a new lock. Printer wasnt working on the day of delivery so I did not receive ANY information on the loan terms. 2 days later they called wanting me to drive all the way back up there to sign more paperwork, which they ended up emailing, I had to print and mail back to them. The email package still did not include loan information. 3 months later, I started receiving loan collection calls from the bank because they submitted the wrong address and I was not receiving statements. Absolutely the worst dealership of any natural I have ever delt with.

Friday afternoon, I decided to go to the RV Center on Wells Road. I had a *** HORRIBLE *** experience at this place. I went there to get information about RVs. So, I parked my car and showed up at the reception desk. I explained that I would like to see a Class C RV because I was thinking about getting one. The receptionist calls for a salesman. He doesn t show up. God forbids he has to work on a Friday. She calls him again. He does not show up again. He took his time and came down a ramp like Trump coming down the escalators at Trump Tower. I politely introduced myself and explained why I was getting the RV for. When I asked him to see one, he said that was not the way things would work. He said I should go inside first, check his inventory, *** GIVE HIM ALL MY INFORMATION *** and then we could talk. When I said I was not going to give him any of my information, he turned his back and went inside. He did it so quickly, I understood the inconvenience it was for this salesman to have a customer Friday after 3:30 PM. I turned mine too and went to the car. What a moron!!! *** RUN AWAY MILES FROM THIS PLACE!!! JUST. RUN!!!! *** They do not care about customer service. At. All.

I wrote a very lengthy review but it doesn t seem to be posted. We bought our camper in September from the Jacksonville general rv. Since then we have had mushrooms grow inside the camper in two different spots. The slide leaked profusely after one rainy day. The flooring is damp under the janky vinyl flooring. There is one spot on the floor where the underneath part is separatingand you can start to see it. The jack gave out in one spot nearly hit my husband and on the way home we had a tire explode and we had to use the spare. Which is fine but now we have to get another spare. All of this in a matter of two months. I feel like they did not do a thorough inspection prior to us buying the camper. Thankfully we got an extended warranty which will be used to fix it and then we are selling it. It was supposed to be a fun experience and it was hell from the beginning. Also it s worth mentioning we lived in our camper for a month and half in the beginning and then moved to Louisiana and then traveled to Arkansas with it. All of the issues happened over that span of time. Oh and last thing there is a 10k non refundable deposit so be sure it s what you wanna do.

Terrible service. Very manipulative. Do not go here. Avoid Rick Baker at all costs, aggressive handshake because he's a snake. I hope they go out of business soon. They force you to give them all your information so they can harass you or sell it to someone else who can. I told our salesman that all we wanted to do was see a few floor plans because we just started shopping. He looked up from the carbon copy contract that he already started filling out with our info and told me "Listen this needs to be done first". How disrespectful! I come in to look at an RV and you get rude with me demanding my whole life's worth of information and asking ridiculous questions about my hobbies and past so you can be mentally manipulative with that information? We went to 4 other sales lots that day from Jacksonville to St Augustine. Campers Inn at 10626 General Ave was wonderful! So was Camping World in St Augustine, ask for Blake!

I purchased a 2018 Fuzion 369 from this dreadful place 8 months ago. They swore their technicians had been over it with a fine tooth comb and would not allow me on the roof due to insurance concerns. Now it has been discovered that there were patches on the roof that were not documented and water damage totaling $30,000.00 or more. I purchased their recommended extended warranty which is covering $675 for a different issue and none of the $30,000. This place is awful! Don t waste your time or money, they will rip you off and have not a care in the world after the sale!! I am a firefighter and don t have the funds to deal with a $30k problem only 8 months after purchasing a (then) 5 year old unit.Update: The General Manager Chris learned of my concerns and has turned this around and changed my outlook on General Rv Centers. If this is how they expect their customers to be treated and my issue was a fluke then I will definitely send Friends and Family there in the future.

This was our second experience at GENERAL RV and the difference was night and day! We had the absolute BEST salesman (Mike Luttrell). He LISTENED to everything we wanted in an RV and made it happen. He wasn't pushy, kept communication light and witty but always answered our questions. He didn't talk over us, and he even came in on his day off (with his beautiful husky, Smoke) to be there when we signed all the paperwork. As well Lou Marino was an absolute gem! Not only was he professional, he was honest about "must haves" in regards to warranties.Initially, after a bad experience with GENERAL RV 5 years ago, I was hesitant to return but with this dream team (Mike, Lou, Octavia and Jason) they made this experience the BEST and we are the new owners of a Grand Design RV.Thanks Mike, Lou, Octavia and Orange Park GENERAL RV!

What a joke for a company!!! Absolutely appalled, I applied online for a $165k+ Brinkley toy hauler with $50k down about two weeks ago. Even though General had ZERO problems running my credit and making my credit drop 10 points, they couldn t even bother giving me a call telling me if I was approved or not!! Same thing happened to my sister on her $140k+ Brinkley. Congratulations General you ve lost out on $300k from my family. Will GLADLY be taking my business elsewhere!

Dealt with a fantastic group, all issues or concerns were addressed and fixed, if need be. Our transfer from one rv to another worked beautifully, camping in their lot for 2 days. Couldn't ask for a smoother experience.

I don t like pushy sales people and probably came in a little guarded. I really didn t plan on buying anything because it was my first stop. The salesman didn t pressure me. I told him what I wanted and he showed me what he had. They took my car on trade for a fair price and the camper was below MSRP and a little above NADA. I appreciated the walk through. It was very helpful. Staff were very courteous. When I came back to sign the paperwork we realized the car was a year older than I d told them. Bobby the finance manager didn t skip a beat. They didn t change the offer one penny. When I came back to pick the camper up it was near closing time and raining. My hitch needed to be reset and I didn t have any tools with me. A really nice young man (I wish I knew his name) stayed and fixed it for me at no charge. Found out later my boss bought his RV from them too and liked them. I did shop around a little after I put a deposit down and a lot on line but I didn t find anything better. I d say so far I m satisfied.

Avoid buying anything from here at all costs. The keep you camping promise is a complete and total lie.Our bed slide broke and would not retract in Montana, slides are covered under that, what is their solution? Either take it to the General RV in Utah or we can't do anything. They will do nothing unless you bring it to them, so we had to hire someone to come out and fix it. Another occasion, Santa Fe, NM in winter, the heat breaks, same solution, bring it to the closest one in UT. Thankfully, camping world fixed it for free in a few hours for us under warranty. The service department is utterly incompetent. They had our unit THREE months and couldn't fix everything, and after we got it back, wouldn't you know it, our AC magically didn't work anymore. We never had a issue before they "fixed" stuff. We picked it up, went to the campground and nothing, exhaust fans, AC, pantry lights all don't work. We are 30min from their location and they still can't be bothered to send someone to fix what they quite possibly broke on purpose. I definitely would not put it past them. There's a door installed backwards, trim not nailed and fell off, repairs poorly done.We had a recall on our unit for the jack feet because they could fall off during travel, so we had to hound them to even get them to do that. Wouldn't you know, they lied about doing the recall and the jack foot fell off on our trip right after. They will find any excuse to get out of, or assume any liability for their horrendous lack of quality and attention to detail. I could go on for a lot longer about all the other times we had to drop off our unit, but I covered the major points. Any time I have a chance to warn someone not to buy from here, I do and will go out of my way to discouraged anyone from buying from here. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Please read other reviews. I wish I would ve followed advice of one of the other guys commentNathan Baer1 review10 months agoGeneral RV is good on the sales and financing end of things, but after that they vanish!I will not walk but RUN back to Lazy Days for my next purchase as I had previously purchased two RVs from their Tampa store and they know how to follow through after the sale and keep a customer up-to-date on with warranty and service issues that crop up. I tried to go local this time but I cant even manage to get a call back from their service department on two tiny warranty parts I needed and during the process two of their service advisors quit and I constantly have to explain the whole situation each time I call them back.
