Just when you think you ve hit a dead end and got the run around from any mechanics, I came across here. Not only they are truly thorough on their work, but they re honest. Performance carries highest integrity of ethics on projects. The core values are honest pricing up front with validated reasons which reassured me that my bread and butter will execute my family desires and needs for the future to come. If you want honest work with a fair price, this is your place.

Nice folks who were kind enough to close the door to the garage as they were cursing the day I was born because I haven't had an oil change in way too long. Lol. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely go back for all future auto needs! Thanks guys!

What a great group of guys! Took care of my Tacoma and had her running smooth and straight as an arrow. Aaron was more than willing to share knowledge and advice with no pretense. Will recommend and will be back for future needs.

This place is an awesome group of employees to deal with. Came there to have tires, new wheels and brakes installed and John was an absolute pleasure to work with and was very transparent throughout the whole process. Aaron, the technician, and another tech (I apologize for not remembering his name) were very diligent in the work and very thorough as well. Communicated what was being done and even took the time to explain the process and made some recommendations for future items I have planned moving forward.I will highly recommend them to everyone and encourage you to utilized their services as well. I will definitely bring my truck back for future work and upgrades when the need arises.

Best shop in the area. Super knowledgeable, trustworthy staff. They do it all from service, repairs, as well as all performance needs.Just picked up my E46 wagon and couldn't be happier. Brought it in for an alignment after installing new shocks/struts, lowering springs and wheels. The guys quickly found a bad bushing and tie rod. They replaced the necessary parts and fixed the alignment. Glad to have a local shop to count on.Thanks guys

Just when I lost hope for the good guys left in the world I came to Performance Tire. I was being blown off by Pepboys because they didn t want to do actual work. I came for a tire to be fixed from a flat. John got me in ASAP and was fair and honest. He showed me a pic of my tire letting me know it could not be fixed. He and his staff were on the phones diligently trying to locate me my tire and get it replaced ASAP. The tire arrived the very next day and the installed it quickly. They have a returning customer in me and I would refer these gentleman any day of the week! Keep up the great work!

Awesome experience, bought new rims for my Tacoma. Two of the four came in defective and these guys went out of there way to make it right. Even came in on their day off to correct the issue.They have earned a customer for life any future tire or suspension upgrades will be done here!Thanks again for going out of your way to make it right, good service today is hard to find so I will recommend your shop to everyone I know

I ve had performance tire and wheel work on my vehicles for a few years now, and I ve bought tires also. They do outstanding work, and are very knowledgeable. You pay for quality, this is the place to go, period. Thanks John and staff!!

I was here, coming from Ohio. Had my van throw a sparkplug from the engine. Not the spot you want to be in when you're out of state. Surely you'll get taken advantage of when the mechanic sees your from out of state and desperate, right? These people did me right. Fixed it within a few hours of bringing it to them and they gave me a very fair price. If you are in a tight spot and out of town(or in) these are your mechanics! Much appreciated, thx guys!

Excellent service! Thought I needed a front end alignment and a new tire. Turned out I needed two new tires and no alignment. I think most service centers would have done the front end alignment in addition to the two tires. They are honest and don't try to add services, unless you need them.

Great shop. TRUSTWORTHY. The most important thing in a shop besides the ability to do their job. I bring all my cars here for alignments too because they are the most accurate

Highly recommended. Steve & his guys are the only ones I ll let touch my Corvette. I needed an alignment & after reading the other positive reviews I gave Steve a call. Right away he was asking the right questions that told me he knew exactly how to work on these cars.Turns out they align all sorts of high performance cars, including dedicated track cars. They really know what they re doing & service is top notch!!

Hands down the best tire shop in Volusia County! Aaron is very knowledgeable and professional. My truck was shaking so bad at 60mph. Now my truck drives awesome thanks to Aaron. Highly recommend them!!

To be fair, I haven't actually had a service experience as of yet with Performance Tire & Wheel, Inc, however I do have an appointment scheduled for later this week. I must say, customer service is so difficult to come by these days. I made numerous phone calls to shops in the area and not one of them treated me with any sort of respect. I got, "no we can't do that....click", to "please hold...crickets chirping for over 10 minutes". Then I contacted Performance Tire & Wheel, Inc (they were recommended by a reputable online Tire merchant). Completely different experience, friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable come to mind. I even received a quote without having to ask for it...what? They left me with a very good first impression. I will follow up with my service experience once the work has been completed.Review #2Excellent customer service!! Dropped my vehicle off early am, and get this....they gave me a ride to work. Who does that?! Jenny and Steve went out of their way to accommodate me. They performed the work above my expectations and best of all, the car looks and drives great! Overall, excellent customer service and top notch work, will definitely be going back to Performance Tire and Wheel for all my tire, suspension and alignment needs.

I was ordering new tires (Vredestein) from Tire Rack.com and saw that Performance Tire and Wheel in Orange City, FL was listed as a recommended shop to handle putting them on my fianc�s Mazda6. After checking out their website and reviews, I knew this was the shop to handle my order. I was looking for a shop that offered more than just the standard type of tire service, especially when it came to balancing. They can do higher performance balancing and alignments and explain all the results on the printouts they give you. Steve and Jenny took wonderful care of me. Very personable, honest and caring. Will now bring both my cars to them for my tire and now, repair needs. Highly recommend!

Performance Tire and Wheel was highly recommended to me by Auto Zone on West Volusia and I am so happy that they did. Don't let the name fool you, they do everything like any mechanic in a garage would perform to your car. Now my air conditioner works great, I have turn signals, hazard lights thanks to their rewiring. These guys are so honest and very dependable. A family owned company who works with your to make your repairs to your vehicle. Believe me, you won't be sorry if you choose them to work on your car or truck. I first met Steve and Jenny, the owners of Performance Tire and Wheel, when I bought new tires for both of our cars from Tire Rack in January 2017. Tire Rack lists them as a Recommended Installer and my experience with Tire Rack has been that they don t recommend everyone; only the best. Steve and Jenny are that and more.More than tires and mounting, Performance Tire and Wheel is a full-service repair shop. They offer just about everything: car maintenance services, engine repair, diesel & truck repair, brake service, tire rotation & balancing and Hunter alignment systems. The shop is clean and the work top notch for a fair price.I had a full alignment done on both cars with the new tires. The work was done on schedule and when complete, Steve gave me a detailed explanation and printed report of what they found and how they corrected any deficiencies. The outcome was a smooth, effortless ride with no vibration and no pull.Recently had road hazard damage to one of my tires. The Performance team investigated the problem and declared the tire unrepairable. I filed a claim with the tire s insurance company under the road hazard guarantee and ordered a replacement tire from Tire Rack. Steve reviewed the damage with the insurance company and explained why the tire was not repairable. His efforts got me a full refund of the original purchase price.Above all else, I find Steve and Jenny to be friendly, eager to please and to operate with the utmost of integrity. Home town people, home town business, excellent quality and honest work. It doesn t get any better than that!

I had an appointment at 2pm last Friday. I arrived about 10 minutes early and they took my car right back. The young man who test drove it came in to talk about the problems he found. I have a 14 year old car that needed a few other items I could not afford to fix and this man was so kind, his concern was having to do an alignment and then having to charge me a second time when I have the necessary repairs.Just think about that. He actually encouraged me to hold off on the alignment until I could afford it all. Not to turn away work but to save me money. How often do you encounter that kind of customer service?Because I commute over 50 miles a day I elected to have the alignment done and hold off on the other work until I can fit it into my budget. I drove away at 2:55 with my car fully aligned. The price was very reasonable, the car drives great and it took all of one hour out of my day. I would recommend them to anyone and I will definitely go back.

Based on previous positive reviews I decided to drive 150 miles one way (!) to have Steve, Jenny, John, and Aaron do a custom performance alignment on my 2016 Miata GT. Price was important, but knowledge, quality, and good treatment (listening!!) were even more important.Well, I was not disappointed! In fact I am thrilled. Every expectation was exceeded, the alignment was spot on, and the dialog, care for my car, and overall interest in taking care of the customer was FANTASTIC!And the price was competitive and came in at the low end of the estimated range for a custom alignment. Needless to say, it was a fun, satisfying ride back home on all fronts. Thank you to the team at Performance Tire and Wheel.

Had a set of tires shipped here from an online order. The service was great and they started on my truck immediately. Tech was very knowledgeable and explained all parts of the alignment to me and diagnosed an issue that needed to be addressed. I would highly recommend this shop for their top of the line customer service, and real family business feel. Great prices and earned my families business for life.

This review is long overdue. I cannot recommend Steve and his entire team enough. This past year, both my fiance and I had the absolute worst luck with our cars. We are new to the area, and his shop was a referral from a work friend. When we first went there, my fiance's Jeep unfortunately was victim of a bad oil change at Valvoline (they forgot to screw back in the oil filter properly), which caused his engine to seize up, since it had a slow leak over a couple weeks. Unfortunately, his vehicle does not alert him of low oil. Steve assisted us in calling around trying to find us new engines and even did a free diagnostic to ensure that everything else was fine! When the work was completed, he even drove our Jeep home to us, and his mechanic John, had very helpful information for us and how to take care of our new engine. Then one day, my car ran out of gas. I got it towed to Pep Boys (big mistake), but I work in downtown and it was the closest spot. I didn't know I ran out of gas, but they told me my fuel dispenser was bad and quoted me $1300 to fix. I wanted a second opinion, so I paid extra with my insurance to have it towed to Steve and his shop 22 miles away from where I broke down. They checked everything and they just simply put gas in my car and drove it around and it was running fine. I am so glad I took it there! Well worth the extra cost to save me thousands! My fiance then took his vehicle close to his job (Tires Plus) to get an oil change about a month ago. This time, he has been diligently checking his oil, since we have a new engine. He noticed that his engine was burning through oil very quickly and it wasn't normal. We took his Jeep back to Steve and they noticed it was the same issue as before, someone forgot to screw the filter back in correctly! Little mistakes like this are costly lessons, and we now know we will NEVER take our vehicles anywhere else! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and time to assist us, and we definitely are life long customers!

Can't really beat what Brandon's review pertained too.The entire team, Steve especially, are exceptionally good at what they do and are often (if there isn't backlog, of course) elated to share and explain your request[s]. So you're 100% aware of the time, tools, parts and skills involved and why! Excellent.Also very understanding if you're in a bind or emergency; more than willing to share rebates, deals and even postpone appointments or orders to suit your needs.Highly recommended. :) Best mechanical customer service I've had. Even turned away from another shop where I had paid for lifetime alignments, because the quality of work here is far greater & reliable.There's also plenty of beautiful parks in walking distance if you need to pass the time during the alloted work quote.

We are traveling from Ontario for the winter and were preparing our F350 for the trip home. We're hauling a 5th wheel toy hauler. Noticed a crack in one of the aluminum wheels. We chose Performance Tire based on the reviews from Google Maps and we very happy with the service! Steve was really friendly and helpful! Labour rate was very reasonable. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this company! Thanks!

After going to every chain car shop in Deland for an alignment. I was finally able to find a shop that had the knowledge and equipment to work on my car. When every other shop said they couldn t or simply didn t want to, Performance Tire and Wheel said yes.The results were outstanding and their customer service was top of the line. If you have a modified (lowered) vehicle or a vehicle with aftermarket components this is the shop to go to!They have the ability to get your car on their machine and their techs know how to work with aftermarket components. Steve and Jenny were good to me,patient and listened to my expected end result. They have gained a customer for many years to come.

I took my car in to Performance Tire and Wheel to be corner weighed and an alignment as I was prepping the car for the Florida State Autocross Championship. I made the appointment with Jenny to come in with only a couple days notice. Once I got there, Steve and his employee John, were waiting and took excellent care of me.Steve knows his way around a race car and how it should be set up. He found something odd that he pointed out to me - the toe-in set on the wheels. He addressed the "problem" with a setting he felt I would appreciate both on the track and on the road. They also cross-balance my car to a perfect 50.0%They took their time and were VERY thorough in getting it right. I left with what I felt like a different car. It rode great!That following weekend I won 1st in class at the Championship in Miami and I felt the alignment specs at Steve's direction had A LOT to do with it.Thanks again to Steve, his lovely wife Jenny, and John for their efforts. I will be back!
