It's sad what America's come to. I spent yrs in the United States Marine Corps defending this country. Yes I'm black so to a certain extent that erases the first half of this comment. Myself,wife, and daughter was traveling from Fort Pierce and my 2000 Ford Ranger broke down on 03/30/2024. They charged me $468 for spark plugs and an oil change. I broke down again after leaving the shop. I get the truck towed 63 miles to a licensed shop only to get a receipt for $377.78 because this shop crossed up the spark plug wires. When I call the shop they wanted me to bring the truck back to look into the issue I just paid to have fixed. I cash app MARIA CHAVEZ $468.00. THEY PROCEEDED TO TELL ME IN THE BEGINNING THE SHOP WAS SOLD AND UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE NOT KNOWN OF MARIA CHAVEZ. KEEP IN MIND PEOPLE I WAS THERE MARCH 30 2024 A DAY PRIOR TO EASTER. TO MAKE IT WORST I HAVE A RECEIPT. I CANT BELIEVE THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE WOULD EVEN LICENSE THIS PLACE. NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT THEY PROBABLY ARENT UP TO CODE, IM SURE THE CITY OR STATE WILL FIND A TON OF VIOLATIONS HERE. IM WONDERING WHAT ASE CERTIFICATIONS THE MECHANICS HAVE IF THEY HAVE ANY. VETERANS IN OR NEAR OKEECHOBEE, THE SURROUNDING AREAS OR WITHIN A 1000 MILES, DO NOT UTILIZE THIS REPAIR SHOP. ANY PERSON WITH ANY FORM OF PATRIOTISM IN THEMSELVES, DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR SHOP. I COULD ONLY IMAGINE THEM SWAPPING AN ENGINE, TRANSMISSION OR REAREND IF THEY CROSSED UP SPARK PLUG FIRING ORDER AND COULDN'T FIGURE OUT A BAD HOSE WAS CAUSING MY TRUCK TO OVERHEAT. IM NOT SO SURE THEY COULD REPLACE A TIRE CORRECTY. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN IF THEY GAVE FREE REPAIRS. SEMPER FI

Warning new guy owns the shop. Don t be fooled by old reviews. Made an appointment on Monday to get my vehicle repaired finally he put it on a lift Wednesday afternoon told me he had to pull the engine out to fix a bracket $2000 of course told him no and took the car to shop up the road got repair done $400. Mechanic shows up when he feels like it does not speak English so office lady has to translate and she does not listen to what you say. If you choose them good luck

David I believed who helped me, I have been meaning to write a review. He came to where I was and able to help get a new used tire on the car. He was up front about stuff. Over all for the price I paid and him coming to me, it was worth the $60 I paid for his help. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I've been there twice very nice friendly people. After 2 months of no brake lights thought it was going to cost a lot they fixed my brake lights at a reasonable price.

Truck was making a noise so I brought it here paid $1,000 and had to bring my truck back 3 times for them to get it right, one week later after getting my truck out of this shop its still making the same damn noise I took it in for, waste of money and time take your car somewhere else people worst experience of my life.

I had a situation where the car I just had bought was in that shape that it would have been impossible to get on the road. We were scheduled to leave the following day and the brakes needed some major work. I stopped by and asked about what it could be and they immediately could tell me what it was. I was told they could look at it later in the day and I said I will be back then. A very nice mechanic took a look at my car and it was exactly what I had been told earlier. They checked the parts, ordered them locally and within two hours we were on the road and the price was not bad. I can highly recommend this place to others. Good service and good work.

This location was perfect! They came highly recommended by my family as they have done tremendous work on our families automobiles. They had my car up within moments of me giving them my keys. Confirmed what I had suspected without judgment. Offered a very affordable price. And completed the job within what I consider to be great timeframe. Customer service was great! My car is now running perfectly and I'm overly satisfied!!! Thank you so much for making this happen quickly and painlessly. They can provide factory transmissions from Jasper. American made and backed by a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty. Much better then having some local guy take your trans apart and trying to patch it up.

I brought my Jeep in for an axle a couple years ago and it was replaced quickly and cheaply, which was great.More recently, I brought my Subaru in for a shimmy in the rear, a brake fluid flush, and a tire rotation because I didn't feel like working on it in the driveway in the middle of summer.They couldn't recreate the shimmy even though it's bad enough that the mirrors shake when I drive.They did not flush the brakes, probably just bled them (badly). I got home and did it myself because the brake pedal got even softer after they had it. It still had dark (old) brake fluid in it and they didn't replace the filter under the brake reservoir cap, as I found it loose in the engine bay.They rotated the tires, but I then had a lug nut fall off and three others that were loose, so they definitely didn't torque the wheels correctly.On top of that, they "topped off" my oil and made it way over full, so I asked them to drain it back to the proper level. Upon looking at the receipt, they added traditional 10w-30 when my car needs synthetic 0w-20, so I had to do an oil change as well.I went there out of laziness and then essentially paid them to keep my car for a week and had to redo everything myself and I still have the shimmy.

Dont do business told be about 620 after my car had been there 3 days came in at close to closing and said card machine was down will be 900 even cash there rats scamming for cash

Bruce is one of the best mechanics I know! He takes the time to understand your concerns and makes the repairs in a prompt manner and a very reasonable price. If you have any car issues, I would highly recommend seeing if he can help you out.

Thank you Sharon and J & J Auto. As my 17 yr old daughter was driving back home, her engine light came on. She called me and I found J & J Auto and 4.9 rating which was only 25 minutes away. I just spoke to my daughter and they checked over her Honda, said it was linked to sensors with the engine, but they checked over everything and both mother and child are at Peace to get her home safely in 2 hrs. Sharon was my 1st point of contact. She was pleasant and said they would take care of her, and so they did. I would use them anytime. They didn t charge her for their time or anything. A Big THANK YOU

Very disappointed. I was told by several people that this business has the most honest and best prices in Okeechobee. I was given an estimate and that my car would be in the shop overnight. It was there 5 days with no apology or explanation. When I finally got it back there were greasy fingerprints on the interior and oil on the steering wheel. However, the floor mats were cleaner then when I left it.

We had vehicle issues while traveling & Bruce was kind to look at our van quickly. He was honest and took care beyond the needed repair work to inspect that the vehicle was suitable to make a lengthy trip. Very reasonable, kind mechanic!!!

Took my car to him for stalling and running poorly with a check engine light on and was told by him it was a camshaft sensors and would cost 300 to replace had to wait on the parts to come in a few hours later and when I returned he replaced the electronic throttle body which was completely different from camshaft sensors. My husband was unable to drive using brake and gas pedal to keep running which I stated when the work was being performed and I will never return to this shop or recommend. Purchased those parts for 100.00 was far from 300 to fix.Not happy at all!Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

They we're great everybody was polite, professional and the waiting room had a couch and nice comfortable chairs. I've been ripped off by a couple local shops and massively by expert auto n tire in pt st lucie. Prices are great. Awesome experience

I have had my car serviced here twice and both times the staff were very friendly and willing to help me. They repaired my can when the dealership said it was not worth the repair. They checked my car and found the problem and completed the repair for just over two hundred dollars. What can is not worth $200.00. I would never go back to the dealership again I will always return here to have my car serviced. Yesterday my car was making a loud noise I stopped by and they service my car and I picked it up today and it is running great no more loud noises. I will recommend this service shop to all my friends and family. Thank you !!

We went by to see if they would diagnose a water leak problem. We left the car and came back about 3 hours later and he told us exactly what was leaking and how much he would charge to repair it. He gave us a very good price. We Haven't gone back to have it reapired yet but when we have the money we will. We checked around to see what other places would charge and this place was the least expensive.

Very amazing and friendly people. Very accommodating. Able to help me out during Thanksgiving twice after having car troubles! If you're in need of a tow for your vehicle, these guys will happily assist you in any way they can.

Fast, friendly service, replaced my water pump and I had my vehicle back in just a few hours. They were 60. 00 cheaper than the competition and very honest. They didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need
