Every time I come here I have a great experience! I come here for all my tire work and they have never let me down. Today Tilly helped me and he was great. I had an appointment for 3pm but for some reason their computer didn t catch it. I was able to find my reservation in my email and he still was able to get me in and out even when they were booked. Awesome customer service always!

Recently needed the service of Mavis tires and brakes in Ocoee, Florida. My tire had a slow leak and needed repair. I made a simple appointment online for same day service. When I arrived I was greeted by a very nice young man who was very knowledgeable and polite.He assured me that the team there would be able to fix it and quickly. He recommended food places within walking distance and when we returned from lunch the car was done!Well done Mavis tires and brakes!! I appreciate all of you!

I went to Action Gator/Mavis on 2/13/2024 to have 3 tires replaced. The 4th was still in good condition, I'd purchased it from them the year before which is why I went back to Mavis.I chose the same tire to have a matching set, the Mavis All Season HT. I was prepared to wait for a while, so when I was called to check out 30 minutes later I was pleasantly surprised. The pleasantness of my experience ended there.As I was driving away from the shop, the faster I drove the louder the noise became. It sounded like I'd had a modified muffler installed instead of 3 brand new tires.I took my car back to Mavis the very next day after work. I told them the problem. They had people drive my car to hear what I was talking about and proceeded to tell me that I needed new rear rotors and brakes. The young man at the counter even demonstrated this need by having me listen for some nearly inaudible sound as he spun the wheels on my lifted vehicle. This additional work was to the tune of $651.94. Or, I could pay an additional $120+ to "upgrade" the tires. Suddenly the highly recommended tires were not the "best quality".I balked at their explanation because I had had NO issues with my brakes whatsoever up to that point. I had also NOT been experiencing any of the noise I was BEFORE they put the new tires on. ALSO, I had just had my car serviced less than a month ago and part of that service included them checking my brakes. My brakes were at 7 mm.When I asked the young man at the desk how long I had to get this work done - sooner or later - he looked me in my face and said much sooner than later. I left Mavis and took my car back to the other shop, told them what was happening and one of the techs volunteered to take my car for a drive. He came back and said there was absolutely no brake involvement. Nothing was wrong with my rotors and that I just had bad tires put on my car.I went back to Mavis yet again, explained what had just happened, reiterated the status of my brakes prior to visiting them, and was told they couldn't do anything unless I wanted to spend more money with them. I could come back yet again the next day to speak with the General Manager.I went back a THIRD day and I suppose I spoke with the GM; he never introduced himself as such or gave me his name. I told him the issue, he drove my car and said he heard the noise. I told him I was not spending anymore money. These were supposed to be good tires. I had no issues with my vehicle prior to them putting the tires on. There is something wrong with the tires. Finally he offered to change two tires. I accepted. They replaced two tires.I took my car for a ride and the sound was greatly reduced, but it was still there. A low "whuuum" sound that gets worse the faster I drive. I immediately turned around and went back to the shop, told them the sound was still present and asked to have the third tire replaced as well. I don't know why they didn't just do that in the first place!The third tire was changed, I left yet again, and as I picked up speed the "whuuum" noise returned! I cannot drive over 45 mph without this low constant noise that even the radio can't drown out. It's incredibly unpleasant.How would I like this resolved? Action Gator, take back your tires and give me my money back. I do not want to do further business with you. I no longer trust you with my vehicle. I believe you tried to deceive me concerning the need for additional work on my vehicle. You did not address the issue at hand satisfactorily. And the demeanor of multiple employees was like I was just being a nuisance.I'm wholly DISAPPOINTED with this overall experience and the product provided.The first two photos show the third tired before it was replaced. Front passenger side. What are those blocks? They were not there on the new replacement tire.The next two photos show one of the other tires what was replaced. The rear passenger side. It shows something having been scraped off. What and why?

The staff at Action Gator are amazing. They really look out for you and care about your well being. Tilly is so sweet and really understands. Chris is attentive and listens and tells you what is really needed and what you can hold off on since I was on a limited budget. Their pricing of more that fair and their rates are extremely competitive compared to other places. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs their car repaired. They are quick and they always get back to you in a reasonable time frame with a quote before they start the repairs. The guys here are thorough and get the job done right! Thank you guys for looking out for me.

Phenomenal service. The owner took amazing care of my mom & I when we came in with a flat tire on my handicap vehicle. After having back surgery just a few days ago I needed help as fast as possible to get the vehicle drivable again. I m so grateful for his kindness and professionalism. Patched up my flat tire, filled the other tires and put the tricky spare back correctly too. The inside was clean and comfortable to wait. Highly recommend.

This place is inviting its very cozy & has very friendly staff!!!!! I am beyond impressed. This is a family like place so they aren t like robots but are people with personalities making your time here enjoyable. The service outstanding & I know the owner must be proud of himself. You did it my guy!Very very trustworthy and honest. Good people & work!

I had such a great and amazing experience at the action gator/mavis in Ocoee location today. I usually bring my expedition and Cadillac to this location. Today I brought my Cadillac to remove a screw from my tire and no problem! Tilly, took great care of me and I recommend every one to come see the team. Fast, efficient and great customer service.

I visited Mavis Tires & Brakes this morning with a nail in my tire, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. The staff was incredibly professional and wasted no time in addressing my issue. They promptly took care of the nail in my tire and had me back on the road in no time. The level of efficiency and attention to detail was truly commendable. I highly recommend Mavis Tires & Brakes to anyone in need of tire or brake services. Their quick and professional service left me thoroughly satisfied.

Yesterday I already had enough craziness to last a day and it was only a little after 9 am. Then I saw my tire was almost flat. A friend switched it out with my spare and I drove to Mavis Tires to drop the tire off. I wasn't aware that I went into the store with an attitude. Tilly, one of the customer service reps, made a VERY FUNNY comment that let me know about my attitude. I laughed all the way home and I think about it now and still laugh. I will continue to support their business. Everyone, including the mechanics, are so friendly and helpful.Forgot to mention: several months ago I bought 4 new tires from them and they fixed the suspension. They did their best to work with my schedule and I appreciated it very much.

Been to this service center for 2 years with our 2 vehicles . These guys are upfront honest and inform you on the progress and diagnosis. Safety issues from inspections and no pressure to purchase anything. They will show you your problems discuss the solution . I have never had an issues here . And the service writers are top notch pleasant people . Thanks again you guys for another successful trip and repair !!!

Chris and James were able to fit me in at the last minute. They were also able to show me an issue quickly with my tires that needed my attention for the safety of my family and provided me alternatives for me to consider. I truly appreciate the attention and service they provided me. Will definitely bring my other vehicles here.

New tires , balance, and alignment thanks to Edgar, Tolly at the front as managers/ assistant managers Joey the tech that replaces , balances, and aligns my truck wheels.

Couldn't be more pleased with James and his staff. My wife bought two tires from here a few months ago and got a nail in one, which went flat on the turnpike. Already upset, she was sure it was going to cost her hundreds of dollars to fix and had to get her car towed to the shop. James helped my wife Kim by offering to stay after close to ensure the car got there okay, then fixed the tire quickly the next day. My wife and Kim couldn't be more appreciative of how they treated us. Thank you James!

This has been a tremendous experience and a learning lesson I should have Came here to this location first. I was pleased with the service from Tilly ,Chris and James at this location and the honesty and expertise that they have as a mechanic and their customer service was full of laughter but Honesty.I will bring my vehicle to this location again

I made an appointment online. When I arrived on time for my appointment for an oil change, I was assisted by a person at the counter who I told I told him that I had an appointment at 11am for an oil change, he proceeded to immediately ask me for my car keys and then he walked out the parking lot and then returned inside to continue checking me in. At no point, did he ask me what type of oil change I wanted or asked me any other relevant information about my car or any other services I might want/need. Even if he were to go off of my previous transactions here, a little confirmation would make the customer feel comfortable. He found my account, typed in some information and then told me my car would be ready in two hours. What is the point of making an appointment if the oil change takes that long?! Two hours is the time for a car who they fit in between those who have made appointments. I ve never had to wait an excessive time here before so this is very disappointing. Lack of communication and efficiency and nearly $95 later for an oil change. Need better management of schedule to prioritize appointments versus walk ins. 2/11/24 11am.

I can t say enough about action gator tire had a nail in my tire today and took me an hour and a half to find someone to patch my tire. They took care of me quickly and no charge. James was a true blessing to me today.

New owner's, but same great customer service employee in the morning shift. I used online appointment system for a set of new tires, balancing and road hazard. The invoice in the store was overcharging me.The correct $40 discount from list price was not subtracted at the register to match their internet pricing. Once home and doing a closer review before archiving, I noticed the tire pricing was $20 too much. So, after returning to the store and getting the refund, they offered no apologies or any kind of remorse such as maybe: "Sorry you had to come back to the store to correct our error."(So verify your invoice!)

I was at a school event for my daughter when I lost pressure in my tire. Two hours from home. Raining. Tilly heard my story and said he could look at it in two hours. Next thing I know, after 45 mins, he shows me the dreaded nail that found a home in my tire. I was patched and done with the friendliest of people. Highly recommend them. Great customer service. Very professional.

I could not be more happy with the service I received from Action Gator Tire Ocoee. Chris, James, and Tillis are amazing, stand up gentlemen and Matt is an awesome technician.I was having difficulty finding a shop to service my Hummer H1. They were able to do what I asked AND they went even further to do a few things that my truck needed without me prompting them. Moreover, when my truck needed a slight adjustment after the initial work was completed, they took care of it - no questions asked.I have NEVER come across an auto service shop that provided this level of customer service. If I could give them 6 stars, I would even 10 stars, in fact. Trust me when I say I will not be taking my vehicles anywhere else. I am a loyal customer of this shop

Stopped in for a nail in the passenger side front tire of my Mazda. This was fixed quickly and professionally. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back for any and all car services and repairs!

I've been a customer of the Ocoee location for over 18 years. If I could give Noel and his team 10 stars I would! Always courteous and communicative; prompt with service. Great team!!
