No communication or estimate given in three weeks. Still had a bill for car not repaired. Had car towed to another shop and repaired in one week.

Kim did a great job on my 2009 Mini Cooper S Convertible clutch replacement. Next is my timing chain.

Kim was exceptional with walking me through and explaining the work that was needed for this car and even helped me to haggle the price down as I was purchasing/getting it inspected. As a woman I often enter shops to be met with condescending attitudes but Kim was a complete sweetheart thru and thru despite being some kind of a genius. He got my '01 325xi running nice and smooth to go on my road trip. Honestly, I appreciate his honesty and transparency, and we even managed to crack a few jokes with each other while there. Kim knows his stuff. Owns the same year and Z model. I'm pleased with the repairs that were completed.

I heard good things about about this place. Thought I would give this place a try due to his experience and skill. I called and scheduled an appointment so he could look at my car and access the problem. He told me to call him when I was on the way. He canceled due to and unfinished car. Then he told me to call back. When I did, then it was his wife's car that needed work. Then he said I could bring it during his lunch break and said " I'll just stop eating my lunch and look at your car". He didn't seem intrested. I ended up taking my money and my custom car to a place that was eager, friendly and local. I got the work done and then some. Score!!! Lesson to be learned.....don't believe the hype and give your local mechanic a chance. Just like it used to be. Just like it should be today. Back in the day. Dude, if you're reading this review, don't get twisted. It's just the way it happened. Sorry, not sorry.

I can not say enough about how wonderful Kim and his staff are. Kim always tells us what needs to be done in words we can understand. He and his staff have kept my"Little Red Rider" going. It was my Brother's car so it means a lot to me. I must say Kim is sweet, reliable and HONEST. I am sooo very happy that we have him here in Ocala to look out for our Z Cars !

I have always been aprehensive when going to a new garage for service for my cars. I think many people get that. I just what to tell others who feel that way that I unconditionally recommend Z cars of Ocala. They have been taking care of my MG for a while now and not only have they been reasonable price wise but more than once recommended less expensive solutions to fix my car.If you are looking for an honest car repair shop look no further.

Knowledge, personality, and shop-space alone, Kim of Z Cars of Ocala will be of great service to your vintage domestic and import car! As a vintage Z-car owner myself, I have personally seen the projects that he works on and he approaches everything like a fine, honest craft! He also knows the nuances of these vehicles and other classics.I look forward to bringing future projects to him!

I can not say enough about how wonderful Kim is at fixing my truck. Today I had an issue with truck not starting and he walked me thru how to get it started over the phone. When I got my truck over to his shop he fixed the problem promptly and did not charge me an arm & a leg.
