I have taken my care to Tuffys for the last few years and didnt realize how much I appreciated them until I tried to save $50 on tires on Amazon and went with a suggested garage for an install on them. The garage I went to at Amazon's sugggestion because it was $25 per tire to install suggested I needed new front, rear brakes and brake system flush since the fluid is running black. I went to my trusted garage (Tuffys) and they showed me a visual of the break wear and provided a timeline for when I should expect them to be changed, they also said the brake fluid is running clear. On multiple occasions they have made suggestions and/or recommendations that maintenance is going to need to be done, but not today. I appreciate their honesty and I am a customer for life after today.

Always professional and friendly!! Super transparent about pricing and the work being done. Trevor is always attentive and Fred is super understanding in helping! 10/10 would recommend.

I took my car to this place on 3 separate occasions and every time I picked it up there was something else wrong with it.I had an alternator, a serpentine belt, and a new battery put in last summer for $1000 and not even 2 months later I brought it back to find out they installed the serpentine belt backwards and also put in a faulty alternator. They fixed that and now my car idles high and shakes over 55mph.I wish I never would of brought my car here.

My ex husband is a mechanic and I panicked after my divorce. These guys were amazing and honest and took excellent care of my car. They went above and beyond and now I wouldn't go anywhere else! Owner and Trevor are amazing!

Amazingly kind, professional, and thorough. My truck broke down with a freak mechanical issue on a road trip, they got me back on the road within 2hrs and at a good price. They even welcomed my pets inside with the AC on a very hot day. Stellar business.

These guys took great care of my Jeep. I recently lifted and installed larger tires. They worked hard to get it aligned correctly. I am a life long Ocala Native and can personally vouch for their honesty and work.

Took my car in to get a estimate on a muffler system cause mine was shot. They told me I needed a whole new muffler system with the catalytic converter. They wanted to charge me $6000. I took it to a different place and it only cost me $250. I didn't even need a new catalytic converter. Plus they didn't do my breaks right either. Bunch of scamers.

I will definitely not go back again I am very disappointed. explained everything to them about what I wanted done and needed estimates on and it was a disaster. When they return the car to me after the one thing they did out of the list they didn't even explain to me on some of the things I brought it in for I went out to get in the car and went back in and said are you even going to tell me what I was complaining about and what was wrong how much, did you even want to take care of it. They said oh it's going to be this much and you need to replace all four sensors on the tires. I said you know it could be only one instead of doing all four to save a little money. they didn't have an answer they didn't even have an answer for any of the stuff that they didn't do. But the stuff that I wasn't worried about they sure did give me estimates on that for tires etc etc. There was even a woman there in the waiting room that I was talking to third time back spent thousands of dollars she felt like she was being taken advantage of and I felt really bad for her. For me I'm just never ever going back there again. For anybody that goes there use caution that's my review.

I brought my car in because I thought I had a transmission issue. They checked it out and I didn't. They didn't try and sell me something I didn't need. I came back a second time and got additional services. The prices are reasonable. They are trustworthy and friendly. I'll be using them again in the future I'm sure.

Excellent customer service. They looked at my Jeep and explained the problem was caused by a previous repair. I told them a different Tuffy did the repair so they got right on it and had it done same day and covered the warranty of a location 3 hours away. They even called me the next day to make sure I made it home and everything was good with the repair.

My experience with Tuffy s has always been great. Finding a trustworthy Mechanic is very difficult but I trust Tuffy s of Ocala. My latest visit to get my tire looked at, they took care of it quickly, cheaply, and honestly. Bill was the costumer service rep that day and he was very kind and helpful.

The staff and service are both superb! Andre is very helpful and honest about any question I have regarding my car or service. Having a honest mechanic is hard to come by. I have been a customer for many years, and for that reason alone, I will continue to deal with them for many more years. Thanks Fred, Andre, and the rest of the Tuffy team for being so nice and honest.

I love these guys. I've been taking my cars to them for several years. They're pleasant, helpful and fast (especially if you have an appointment). They have never recommended or charged for anything I didn't need. If a repair is needed, they're very good about communicating with me beforehand to explain my options and get prior approval. There's virtually no staff turnover; you're dealing with the same guys every time. They always check my car for roadworthiness before I go on a road trip and I trust them to give me the straight scoop. Highly recommended!

This place ALWAYS treats me right! This morning they began my scheduled oil change right on time and made sure I was done in time to meet my first work appointment this morning. They have always been honest with me and have gone out of their way to help me in the past. Today, as usual, they were friendly, professional, and courteous and the lobby area was clean with a pleasant scent (it doesn't smell like a mechanic's shop) with lots of reading material and comfortable seating. I highly recommend this place.

Made an appointment for a fuel filter service before going out of town. Arrived and was asked if I had the filter with me . Was told just then that they can t do it if I didn t come with a filter. Something they could of told me days ago when I made the appointment. I d suggest just paying a little more and go to the dealership.

I stopped by to see about an oil change and check on my breaks. The gentleman at the counter told me they were all booked but took the time to check my breaks to make sure I d be safe for a quick road trip. When I came back for my appointment a few days later they were courteous, friendly, and very thorough. Not only did I get my breaks done but I had some major AC work done that has my car running very cool now. We came in for a brake inspection before a trip just to make sure we were set. Andre came back to let us know we were okay while making suggestions for a fix, but wasn't a necessity. Went ahead to get an oil change while we were there. We are new to the area So we were unsure what places are reliable.They were all very nice, and I fully appreciate honesty since I was able to save that $100.Will definitely be coming back for any of our car repairs!

Not even wanting to give a star...Took my car in for a free AC check that they advertised because my ac was blowing warm ...Well it wasn't free but $59.99 ...They misdiagnosed my problem took the freon I had in there replaced it with their freon gave me my car back said it was fixed and blowing cold, then charged me $150.00 and it's still blowing warm, went back and now its the compressor and wanted to charge me an arm & leg...NOPE....Also misdiagnosed my front rotors going bad said it was my back brake pads and it wasn't at all it was the front because my steering wheel was vibrating...These guys are scammers I wouldn't take another vehicle their for a flat tire!

They are the WORST!! Manipulating, lie, steal, untrustworthy, inexperienced, rude and inconsiderate. I would NOT recommend to ANYONE!!Andre welcomes you like they can do it all. Upon paying the bill and a short drive later the car ran worse than before bringing it in.When confronted they denied their work had anything to do with it. Upon speaking to his manager Fred I was told they don't even have mechanics qualified to work on my car. Yet no refund. Zero compassion. Only advised to take my car elsewhere or they would call the police.

Approx 2 months ago family friend took 2015 equinox for brake service. Rotors and pads replaced. On drive home noticed vibration in stearing wheel and driver's seat. Took back Balanced tires$$$. Drove home still had vibration. Took back. Found bad tire. Decided to put new tires $$$. Drove again same vibration. Took back told basically nothing they did caused issue after being charged over 2,00$$. Update: contacted Sue ,she said she would contact friend to see if they could work out the issues.

Owner Fred is honest and knows all about cars. His techs are the same and do a great job on the work they do. Prices are good and they will beat any competitive prices to get your business. I will continue to take my vehicles to tuffy for all my service needs.

I have now used Tuffy s services for two different vehicles. I found the staff to be extremely honest, friendly, and professional. Each experience I was given fair estimates with a clear understanding of repairs that were needed. My repairs were done timely and didn t break the bank . Most professional and friendly service my heart goes out to Andre fast with my estimation on time and cost worked on both my Altima and Cherokee. They have no problem with diagnosing the issues I would hope anyone with vehicle issues to give them your business no matter if you have a new or antique vehicle they will treat you right

Great Experience at Tuffy's. Very happy with the service and reliability of their work. Steve really helped out my son with his car. As a mom of a college student who is 1200 miles away it is great peace of mind to know that you can rely on and trust people like Steve to assist when you can't be there. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely disgusted to hear that with a 12:00 appointment my Mom (who is battling cancer ) was still waiting . I came in and asked how that was ok, and was given an absolute terrible attitude, very confrontational. Then smirked at me and asked if I wanted the number for corporate. I guess he was confident that this behavior will not be addressed . If negative starts were and option I would not have given 1 star! Absolutely horrible customer service.Service: Tires

After several regrettable past visits to pep boys, I decided to try somewhere else and pulled into Tuffy instead. Andre was incredibly helpful and kind and had a lovely smile. My brake pads were worn down to oblivion but in a matter of an hour and a half I was back on the road for a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Never catch me at pep boys again.
