From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the Pep Boys team and the process of having my tires mounted and balanced. Very pleasant staff and constant communication throughout. Highly recommend and thank you for a positive experience!

Brought the car back for excessive noise and they just shrugged. Turns out these idiots can t read an arrow on a tire. One job to do: mount tires. They put the rear tires on backwards. Short staffed/short handed doesn t excuse stupid. Go to the other Pepboys on Silver Springs, you might have better luck.

I bought 4 tires a store in Orlando, in August. Only to discover that 2 bolts were missing. 1 from each front tires. This is really a safety issue which was not addressed by the store. Upon arrival to the Ocala store, I explained the situation to the service person, he acted as if it was not his problem and I needed to go back to the store who originally serviced the vehicle. (So much for safety consideration). I, intern informed him that Pep Boys performed the work and therefore, I expect them to correct the issue because the vehicle is driven by my daughter who is in college in Tallahassee. The service person did no legwork to contact the other store, he did not ask me for my information to verify the previous job. I had to be the one to find the store number and provide it to them. After the store was contacted, the service person says it will take 3 hours to get the job done. I dropped the vehicle off at 12:00pm, I came back at 4:30pm, yet the vehicle was not ready for pick up and no one called me. I waited around for the vehicle. It was not ready until 6:15pm. This type of treatment is unacceptable and very unprofessional. I have been doing business with Pep Boys for a while and I would have never imagined getting treated in such a manner. Although this may not be an overall reflection on the company, however, its representative on that day failed execute professionally.

Jose was extremely helpful, and I could not be more grateful. They were about to close, & my front and back brakes were both gone. Angel the mechanic had it all fixed up good as new by the next morning, incredible service here. I would recommend coming here with any car troubles!

The work apprears to be good. The billing was the problem, I was charged for nearly 2 hours of labor for a simple one hour job and was at the location for almost 3 hours on a scheduled appointment for a warranty repair. Jose called me and we fixed the bill to reflect a more reasonable charge for the work completed.

I was traveling with my two daughters for the holidays and started having car trouble. I pulled into Pepboys where I received excellent and friendly service. My vehicle was fixed and I made it to my destination and back home with my vehicle in better condition. I greatly appreciate the service I received during a stressful time. Also the store and the waiting area was nice and clean.

Called in the morning to ask 2 questions. "Is the online price for 4 tires different?" and "Is my size tire in stock there or at a warehouse?". The guy tells me the price is the same and he can have the tires delivered by 1:00. So I asked if I should schedule an appointment because I can be there by 3:00 to 3:30, he says no appointment needed. I got there at 3:00 and he did have the tires there (which is the only reason for 2 stars not 1). Price was different by $110. After 20 minutes he came within $12 so I did purchase. Then he kind of works me in here and there, took 2.5 hours. They left an abundance of that white glue smeared all over my tires, looks terrible. I will not use this store again.

My 2016 hyundai accent needed back brakes, talked to Jose and he got me the best price and offered discounts that applied to me. The work was done in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the workmanship and service. Great Job very pleased.

Typical of a commercial "garage"... they told me my tire couldn't be repaired and wanted to sell me two new tires for $381 I just got two new for the other end for $215 mounted and balanced so I knew this price was exuberant Anyway I took their word on the can't be repaired part and knew I was going to go to Bill in Williston, Fl. The problem is, it was a bit of a drive and I wanted to make sure I had the money For new tires if it truly could not be fixed, so I went with some fix a flat rendering my tire Unable to be patched. Also the driving for a couple days ruined my tire, so it wasn't even safe to plug. They're just crooks at Pep Boys!!! I only went there because a police officer recommended this particular Pep Boys to me. I will never go back to Pep Boys again!!! thank you Bill's tires for Being willing to fix my tire, if I hadn't made my mistake of holding off. And thank you Bill's tires for selling my tires at $220 for two tires mounted in Balance

We were traveling and lost a tire on a Saturday.We called Pep Boys in Ocala and then stopped in.These people were immediately responsive, super helpful and friendly.They even had a tire for our old Volkswagen Bus.We had an amazing customer experience which we find rare these days.We highly recommend this business.Thanks Pep Boys

I'm a 72 year old female, who knows nothing about vehicle maintenance. Pep Boys at 2035 SW College Rd, Ocala. Exceptional customer service from 1st phone call, to dropping off vehicle, free inspection, frequent feedback, detailed explanation, reasonable quote, timely service, and offered payment options. Jos� was wonderful.

Will never go back. Scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. The tires were not properly rotated, a lug nut came off within a day. I was not informed that I actually needed new front tires due to uneven wear which means I needed a front end alignment as well. I called to report the lug nut missing and no apology was given. They were also supposed to call me back when the air pressure sensors arrived and they never did (I asked when I called about the lug nut and was told I would get a call back in 15 minutes, that was 2 weeks ago)It also took forever to pay and check out because the guy at the desk was looking everwhere for someone elses keys that they had lost.

It seems at pep boys they don't do everything for less, they didn't have any calipers for my car and wanted to replace rotors that didn't need to be replaced, and when asked how much to replace 2 pads, 2 calipers, and 2 rotors, they said 2,000, meineke will do it for half that, a complete joke of a company

Excellent service and wait time for what I thought was an emergency. Oil change and tire rotation was done quickly. Jim at the SR 200 in Ocala deserves honorable mention. Pep Boys is fantastic!

We took all 3 vehicles there for new tires alignments and oil changes. The service was great and they did a fantastic job and even took care of the car pulling to the right after the alignment.

Bought new tires for our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jose ordered my tires and had them there the next day. Even though I had made an appointment for the next day afternoon but Jose called as soon as the tires were on site and said I could come anytime. Great experience, clean store, very friendly and professionally staff! Highly recommend!! Thanks Pep Boys!!

Made an appointment on-line at this Pep Boys store today at 1:30 pm to get a tire repaired. Drove 20 miles and when I arrived (on time) I was told they were running behind and they would not be able to service my car today. Said come back Monday. The man said in so many words that booking an appointment on-line meant nothing. So why do you even have that option on your website? If you want terrible service and rotten customer care, this is the place to go.

Couldn't help me due to the type of car I drive. Not sure if anyone has had any major work done here but I feel they are good for general repairs like oil changes and brake jobs. Had my car 4 days with no movement. I was told this is because they only have 2 mechanics. Guy I spoke to was helpful and polite. In the end I took my car somewhere else.

Stopped by this pep boys location to get some automotive parts, when I walked in no one was at the sales counter so I waited there a few minutes before getting greeted and offered assistance. The rep was helpful in getting me the parts I needed. I have also had minor service work done here (tire rotation & oil change) Miguel was extremely helpful and nice in getting us out the door quickly. However I did not receive a call notifying me when the service work was done.

Heard a ticking noise in my motor..want into pep boys to get a couresty checkup on my engine to see what was going on...took them roughly an hour to look over my vehicle.. I am not pleased with the results they have found..but i no my vehicle is in good hands. Thank you Pep Boys you guys are awesome.

I had an appt for an oil change at 1pm I arrived at 12:45pm and left at 3pm. Over 2 hours for an oil change with an appt and they did not even put air in my tires or change my wipers as requested. I will not be going back to this place.

Fantastic customer service, great prices. Came in to get my wife's brakes done come out with tires for her and a set for me (Christmas a few days early!)
