This shop is amazing. I am so glad I found them. They are honest and do great work. As a woman, sometimes mechanics make you feel like you don t know anything. These guys take the time to explain it and fix it the first time. Unlike the dealerships who only want to sell you what you don t need.

I LOST MONEY IN THE CAR WASH. WHEN THEY WHERE CLOSED( AT NIGHT) THE NEXT DAY I STOPPED BY AND EXPLAINED WHAT HAD HAPPENED MORE SO TO GET IT FIXED AS I USED THE SELF-SERVE CARWASH ALOT. THEY BASICLY CALLED ME A LIER. I STILL GO THERE ONCE IN A WHILE BUT KNOW YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN IF YOU LOOSE ANY MONEY DUE TO A MALFUNCTION.

Hilton's Automotive has been a staple for people on the 200 corridor or south west part of Ocala. It's family owned and has keep that old garage feel with very good quality mechanics who have kept up with the time's and truly want you to be happy with the job they do. Myself and my father who told me where to take my car when I had a problem some 18 years ago, and I have never left unhappy since. Never liked or trusted the Dealerships , I had to use one to cover the warranty and I hated it, they always found other problems. I couldn't wait to get away.Their are good honest people out there,who still enjoy their work and aren't just pushing you through.Thanks guys fantastic job on my car today runs great.

We have used them since we moved here 5.5 years ago. Always honest and fair. Our daughter was here and needed help and Dan was spot on with assistance. I highly recommend them for fair, honest and VERY friendly! Thank you Dan and Rick for all that you do!

Beware they will just take your money do not go here had them check to see if something was wrong with my starter or battery they put a new battery in $250 the problem is still there it's like they didn't even test the battery I think they just changed the battery and called it a day

UPDATE 10/11/23:After a few more shops we finally got to the root of the issue. First was Hilton over torqued our lugnuts causing damage and failure from the axle replacement. Which is a nice segway into the axle replacement that was likely unnecessary. It started to throw TCC codes once the lugnuts issue was resolved and we drove it more. The vibration is being diagnosed today at AAMCO after Meineke said this is common and should have been diagnosed sooner. It was that obvious! They might be great at older cars but the mechanics here don't have the competency on 2014 and newer would be my guess. Wasting money on brakes that Florida Auto in Winter Garden had done, axles that were probably perfect as they never showed me the issue. Still stick with this shop is not competent nor worth your time and money. Beware!!!UPDATE 8/13/23:We started out really well but things have gone downhill. We have never had so many issues and I have a background turning wrenches.I feel the time they had my van when we reported a problem with a vibration in the front right was to expire the warranty based on time.It went so horribly wrong that my keys were not attached to a work order. He wasn't even sure that the keys were mine. I think they were in the lost & found. He never called back despite my phone records and talks with Rick (?). We took it off the property with a spare key, they never reported it missing.I'd stay away!!! As of today our van is not drivable. We took it once to Orlando and almost had to tow it back. We cannot exceed 55 MPH. The vibration is so bad I suspect poor quality or workmanship. I am asking a dealership in Clermont that I trust to review the work. Trying to work on getting it towed there this next week.BTW, it stays parked for the most part. A warranty for this use case should be mileage. Time based should not apply.

Took my Mustang in for an oil leak. Ended up fixing the thermostat housing instead. These guys were nice enough to drive me home while repairing the car and came back to get me when it was done. Nice people. Going back to get the oil leak taken care of in a few weeks,

Fair price on one wheel baring replacement. At chain place was quoated double. Did not do unnecessary aligment and I am grateful for the honesty . Was able to meet my needs. Great team! Thank you!Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I think it's a lil expensive. It was in the shop over a week. Struck by lightning and they really didn't believe me. It struck near. Hit a tree. Burned the grass under it. And the whole lighted dash board had to be replaced. And my fan went out on a. I felt that should have been fixed. Since it had been under full coverage insurance. But nope. Charged my sister same time and she had her front n power steering fixed and they didn't tell her it needed sway bar replaced and it sounds worse than before. Over charged too. Just my opinion. I'm a woman. Maybe I'm uneducated on this

I have been long struggling with a Honda that frequently would not start. Frustrating when I couldn t depend that going somewhere I couldn t guarantee that I could get back.Had the car towed to a Hilton competitor three times. They were never able to fix it. On one occasion they said fixed come and get it. Wouldn t start in their parking lot.Decided to give Hilton a try. The component they replaced seems to bee what was wrong. Their description of what it does seemed like a logical choice.As I left and paid the bill, which was very reasonable, I said to them if it won t start again I will have it towed back. Instead their mechanic said if it won t start, call me and I will come to you. That is an outstanding commitment for standing by your work.So far very satisfied with their work.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Honest auto repair garage. Staff is knowledgeable and up front. They fix what needs fixing and don't try to get you for anything that's not broke. I have been looking for a good place to take my cars since I moved here. Well, I found it.

Never sign a bill without visually verifying the total. Handed the mechanic my card and said $135 right. His response 'yup'. Went to file the bill with my papers today and it said $291. Just called and the guy said oh we replaced 2 tires not one which in itself is overpriced and was an unexpected cost since I went in for a plug. We only talked about 1 tire I never agreed to a second tire. And you can forget about any customer service skills at all, it's not in their vocabulary. I definitely feel taken of. My fault for not visually checking but after a 10 minute conversation of what we were doing and verbal confirmation on the price I wasn't stressing it at the moment.

Dan, at Hilton Automotive, is very courteous and professional. These guys are terrific mechanics with many years of collective automotive experience. They are honest and fair in their prices as well. We are very, very pleased with their quality of services at every level!

I called asking for a price for an installation and the guy just said we aren t interested and when my mom called back he said there is no other way to say. Plain rude and unprofessional we have 5 cars in my house and we will NEVER do business with this scumbag business.

I don't see a place to leave a review for the car wash, so I'm leaving the review here.I don't understand what's the older guy problem is but seriously what's wrong with me washing my RV roof we was on our own rv ladder/roof? He fuss at us about it ,so we didn't bother finish washing our rv there at the car wash.

Always excellent service! A great mom and pop shop that's been around forever. I've been using their service ever since I bought my first car in 2005, I've gone else where and learned my lesson. I'll stick to these guys as long as i live in the area.

I brought a grille guard for my 2021 Ford F-150 pickup truck to Hilton Automotive to have them put it on for me.. They charged me $374 just to put it on.. I thought that was a little expensive!!

Took out the oil pan of my Toyota 2017 Prius Prime Advanced. Called Local Toyota dealership annd thhey culdn't get to it for 3 weeks. Called Hilton and they came over and towed the vechicle back to there shop. I received a quote in 2 hours and they said I could pick up same day. Did a great job and very pleasant to deal with. They are now my goto for all things automotive.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had a nail in my tire .they charged me 42.00 to plug it.didn't work still kept losing 5 lb of air everyday. Ended of going to walmart for a new tire.I think 42.00 to plug a tire is outrageous. I had a tire plugged in Ga for 8.00.that was 2 years ago.tire still good.I think thus place is a rip off.won't be going back.

Price was exactly as said and reasonable. Service was faster than any shop I've been to and my issue was electrical diag. (that takes a lot of time) very professional and honest . I recommend this shop to anyone

First vehicle brought here they did not fix the problem but instead went for a $700 brake job. Then when I came back home, I discovered they left the air intake housing and air filter off my vehicle my father was driving around for 3 months. Next vehicle I brought there, they claimed that the intake gasket blew its seal and that was another close to $800 estimate. Took it to another mechanic who discovered it was the bypass hose was busted. Avoid at all costs....
