Check engine light on our Motorhome was properly diagnosed. Being a Cummins center 1 part was in stock the other was in within 48 hours. Service Supervisor John Herman is VERY knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I can't recall my service technician's name but want to acknowledge him as well for being professional and courteous. End cost came in BELOW initial cost quote, for that we are very appreciative. This shop is local to us, but has Electric and Water parking stalls for those travelers who need service.

Called Cummins and spoke to service manager John . John was great and got us down on the schedule. I wanted a full inspection chassis service on my Dutch star. I also felt I was having an issue with my mechanical fan drive and or clutch fan. The techs there really checked things out for me and made sure I was ok. John fully addressed and explained what was going on and not to worry, basically saving me a lot of money. I am very satisfied with the service I received and the communication while my coach was at the shop. They even made sure my coach was plugged in while it was there so the fridge was working. I will use them again! No complaints

What can I say. Good Samaritans, good people, willing to help a person in need. Expert technicians. 1/3rd of my way on an 1000 mile trip to fix a broken RV dash AC my generator failed leaving me and my son in a hot box travelling through Florida at temps over 90 degrees. We pullled into a Walmart in this area to try to get some sleep and barely got a few hours due to no AC whatsoever. To my further dismay I found out when I parked to sleep that my Jeep toggle switch had fallen into the center console which inhibited me from even starting it up to top up the battery or switch in out of neutral and use. I was in a bind. It was 1am. Luckily I made the right decision to wake up at 6 and head straight to this Cumnins Service Center. I arrived about 20-30 minutes before the advertised open time but the team were already there with doors open. I gave them my story and Mike heard the concern in my voice and decided he would come out and have a look. By 8am he had completely fixed the generator and both AC's were refreshingbthe RV. By 9am he had fixed the Jeep! I cannot tell you how much ny faith was restored in people and technicians. Theu could have made me wait, they could have gouged me. Instead they literally fixed everything immediately and went even further beyond by fixing my Jeep issue. So much gratitude for Mike and hisnteam here. As an RV'er you fight the urge at times when you have these issues to just say its too much of a pain. Mike and his team restored my faith in the various teams that support the RV industry and just provided me with service that I havent seen in such a long time. If your in the area I highly recommend them. Saved me so much time, aggravation and money. 6 STARS if that was an option.

If I could give 0 stars I would had a customer's unit in there for a no run issue after an initial quote of $1200 for the repair. He was contacted by the cummins repair shop again After the initial Repair was performed and told he needed a carburetor as well. ( Was this the problem the whole time?) Bringing the bill to over $2000 on a 4Ky unit . I had to retrieve the generator from the repair facility To reinstall it in the RV where it was originally installed at. And not only was the unit still dirty and dusty. Looking like they never touched it and offered 0 cleaning services. Just a simple wipe down would have sufficed, but then all of the bushings on the bottom of the base for the generator were damaged torn or worn out. When I called BEN at Cummins of Ocala to speak with him about the issues and see what we could do to resolve it or maybe help him prevent these issues in the future. I was met with nothing but friction as he has 0 customer skills and 0 ability to be Accommodating in his role and should not be working directly with people basically telling me it's my problem now as it's my customer, I was simply the middle man that removed and reinstalled the generator for him. It's his customer that he should be taking care of and clearly has not done I was told for another $2000. We could get the bushings replaced after removing it again, which is obviously. Not what I was hoping to hear. Nor expected as another business owner , generally when doing repairs If you notice other things going on, you use that opportunity to upsale more work, make your own shop more money and make the customer happy in total with the repair. I will not be bringing any more generators to the shop. As dealing with Ben is now the last thing I want to do with my day. Don't fall victim to these tactics. There are a limited amount of certified cummins Facilities in the state, but do yourself a favor and choose another one. They are doing the bare minimum at best at this location. The Cummins name demands more respect. Do better, guys.

I have owned my own business for over thirty years and these guys are a great Team. Had a bad def sensor on our motor coach. Called emergency # and quick response from Austin. This was a Saturday and explained my problem. 4 exits from there shop I pulled in and found a spot to hook up until Monday am. First thing spoke to Ben Treakle,, had me wait a while and then started a tech on problem. They were very busy and didn t know me from a hole in the wall, but treated me like family. Part was overnighted got in around noon. Had me on the highway 3:30 that afternoon Tuesday.Ben is a quick thinker and knows how to multi task well. I will be full timing in Florida in a couple of months. Certainly will drive to Ben and the guys to service our coach. Tim P . Titusville!!

Customer service was superb! Jarrod spent additional time on our coach to diagnose an ongoing problem and Chase was very professional with our oil change and chassis lube. John the Service Supervisor was very informative and did not give us a hard sale for anything. Some of the best customer service we ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!!

Newmar Dutch Star was brought in on Feb of this year to work on exhaust brake paid a lot for the parts and labor. 7 months later it totally failed and we are back in a shop fixing what these guys did. Was not put back together correctly and that is why it failed. Would never ever go back to these guys again.

I was at Juniper Springs campground and my generator on my Winnebago Era wouldn t start so I went to Cummins without an appointment to see if they could help me. The service manager was there and he came out to check a few things, we made it start and we tested it with the air conditioning and everything was working fine. Maybe it was just my batteries that were not powerful enough to start the generator, maybe it was dirt in the propane lane we don t really know, but the main thing is it s working now, and I feel more confident that the problem is behind me and if it occurs again while I am here, I know where to go to have it fixed and get great service. Thanks again Mr. Ben for your help, you were really nice to me.

Top notch in so many ways. Brandon (Ted) worked on our motorhome, figured out what 3 other places could not. He s a hard, conscientious worker. John the manager operates a well run shop. They will do their best to diagnose the problem and fit you into their schedule as best they can. We highly recommend this location. Thank you to all of you.

We had a great experience with Cummins! We arrived the night before our appointment. They have a fairly large parking area with a few electrical hookups if you come in after hours. Was a pleasure to work with John and all the service personnel, the mechanic worked inside the coach engine without leaving a trace. We would highly recommend Cummins of Ocala!

Talk about professional! You won't be disappointed taking your generator here for service. They have been in business for years because they know what they are doing. Our generator in our motorhome was not working properly. We brought it here and they did the complete service and fixed the problem the same day! All the pricing was up front. No pressure to have any other work done. Highly recommend this business!

Great job on fixing the generator on our new Winnebago Adventurer. It would run OK when the coach was parked but would fail while under way. That s an issue here in Florida since we need the coach AC on 90+ degree days. Of course it would not fail when the technician took a short ride with me. They replaced the carburetor on a suspicion it might be the issue. Before writing this review, I wanted to be sure it was fixed. We took a trip to Georgia and the generator ran just fine. We appreciate the fine work as well as our lab, Pippa.

Excellent customer service and workmanship. Richard and Mike are great to work with and their techs do a great job. I had my generator fixed here as well as some engine issues that popped up with my RV. These guys fixed it up and it has been great ever since. I definitely recommend these guys, and their site is accommodating for multi-day repairs.

Very disappointed in how much they charged my husband who is a disabled retired Vet over $600 for somewhat of a diagnosis! They called and said it would be over $4000 just to actually find out what is wrong with it.

Had a wonderful RV service/repair experience at Cummins Ocala. Techs were attentive, thorough, and motivated. Service writer Ben Treakle went out of his way to make sure that we got scheduled in a timely manner, and shop manager John made sure that the jobs were done right and that the pricing was fair. All this, and a place onsite to overnight with 30/50 amp service and city water at no additional charge. Highly recommend this location for your annual RV services and repairs.

Do you own a diesel pusher motorhome and need some outstanding service on the engine or chassis in the north central Florida area?If so, the place to take you motorhome is Cummins Sales Service in Ocala. This team of professionals will get the job done right the first time. I recently had a recall from Spartan about the frame / rear axle alignment and my interaction with Ben Treakle, the Service Administrator was unequaled.Although he had no available appointments for the next several months, he worked me into the schedule because of the seriousness of the recall and because it had to be done before we departed on our spring RV trip. He got the work done in less time than anticipated and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. As an added bonus, they have 30/50 amp and water hookups right at their facility. We stayed overnight the night before our service appointment so we were already there for our early morning appointment the next day - much easier this way.Cummins of Ocala has earned my future business and I highly recommend you give them a chance to earn yours...you won't be disappointed.

We just had our rv serviced by John and his team at Cummins, Ocala. I scheduled the service appointment a few weeks in advance using the Cummins website and once John made email contact we were able to set a convenient date and time. We spent the night before our 8:00 AM service in their lot, which had 50 amp service and it wasn't too noisy. They were ready for our rig as scheduled and the service was finished by 11:30 AM. Everyone that we interacted with was professional and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

I have had to use several Cummings locations for both emergent and routine service over the last 12 years. Mississippi, Alabama, Virginia, North Carolina and this shop in Ocala, Fl. While all provided timely and professional repairs or service, none can outperform the Ocala location. As a coach care center their knowledge and experience with the full time RV'er and the intricacies involved with taking your "home" in for repairs is exemplary. They went out of their way to make sure we could remain in the coach each night in one of their water and power overnight sites even to the point of putting the motor back together one night so we wouldn't have to go to a hotel. The mechanics (Larry / Jared) are consummate professionals. Using the technology of today as well as well as their eyes, ears and experience made for an accurate diagnosis and repair that I have total confidence in.The managerial staff John and particularly Ben Treakle are also top notch. Keeping me informed of status, cost estimates, parts availability and just explaining the details to me in laymen's terms make both of these men a huge asset to Cummins Ocala.I do have one complaint to register. While I watched a number of Rv's withemergent situations taken care of. (I have no problem with that having been there myself), Scheduling a routine appointment can take awhile, A long while. Still, for the service, the professionalism and clear concern for the Full timer needs you cannot find a better shop.Lastly a note for Cummins. You don't pay Ben Treakle enough for what he does!

We broke down 35 miles from Cummins Ocala late in the day. John told us if we could limp in they would look at the motorhome the next day. True to his word the next morning they got us in! Larry worked on the motorhome fuel system and got us going down the road.John kept us updated on what they were doing and estimated cost as they worked on it.We really appreciated everyone's efforts to get us back on the road!

A great but rare findThank you everyone at Cummins Ocala for keeping our trip rolling

Truly a professional outfit. They will assess and quote for worst case scenarios to minimize shock at the register. In our situation we were under our quote by quite a bit.Called them on a Monday to fix our Onan Marquis 6500LP Generator after many other shops said they would not work on LP generators. Mike Foley was the Power Generation Manger who we talked to. He said the earliest they could schedule was Thursday. We were on a road trip and needed to get going on Saturday, so Friday was the latest we could leave it. Mike said we could drop it off and they could work on it in between jobs. He managed to diagnose it, order parts and fix it by 2:00pm on Friday. The best part: It was 20% under his estimate. Cannot say enough positive about this team. While there we saw everything from municipal vehicles, corporate vehicles, dodge pickups, and RVs at this Cummins center. if you need work on your Cummins engine or power plant, this is the place to service it in the area.

Wonderful people, great overnight camping area. They worked on our motorhome all day cause of two service engine lights on and seemed to fix them. (Squeezed us in when no one else would). Unfortunately 200 miles later when 40 miles from home the lights came on again! Can't bring myself to blame them. They made an unpleasant situation comfortable at the time. When we couldn't get through to our local Cummins service they got a hold of them for us and we received a call from them right away.

My only complaint is they didn't communicate with me about when my coach service was complete. My calls went to a call center and it took 5 calls and over an hour to find out a status. I suggest that you get a direct phone number from the service manager so you can contact them.

Had a leak thought it was oil. These guys had my truck less than an hour, steamed the frame rail, found it was a fuel fitting going bad. Charged me more for that diagnosis than the guy I took it too that actually replaced the fitting AND tightened my mirror I planned to get after when I got to the yard. Moral of the story, they gonna make sure they keep the lights on here boi keep track of ur time bc they get you for all they can for some lame service. Not to mention white shirt John attitude problem, he got a little nicer after I paid his high dollar invoice tho. Stay humble yall
