They sold me a damaged tire and refused to put a new one on. I left my car to get a tire change and oil change. Didn t ask what oil I wanted they just put whatever high priced oil. I left my car around 8am, came back around 5:20pm after work to pick it up, and as soon as i drove off the lot, the tire pressure was low from the tire they replaced. They close at 5:30pm so I had to wait until the next morning to go back. Mind you i went STRAIGHT home when I picked it up. I went the next morning around 7:50am so they can put air in my tire and they noticed the same tire they replaced scrubbed off. The letters were off of the tire in different locations like if someone shaved off the first layer of the tire in those spots. Mind you again I left my car there the whole day and went straight home when I picked it up. They blamed me for the issue and said i must ve hit my tire on something or someone hit my tire which never happened. My rims and car are perfectly fine it s literally JUST the tire. I payed almost 350 in total. All they did was blame me for the issue. 0 stars if possible. The most traumatizing experience as a female. Absolute Scam.

On my way home I was in trouble with a tire going flat they were able to help me right away. They took care of the tire and the bill was very fair. Good friendly customer service, very pleased.

Nice people and polite, they persuaded me that they could do a decent engine dianostics, my truck was dying, seeking for a solution I was desperate. However, their diagnostics was poorly done and incomplete in my opinion, for two days they tested my 95 ford f150. They did faithfully replaced two expensive sensors, and did a radiator flush. But in my view, too little was done to advise me how to solve the real issue, they just went on about telling me how it was running well when in fact it had the same major engine problem that existed, and charged me without informing me of the actual nature of the bad running dying engine, which information would have simply told me that I would have needed another used engine to replace the bad one before investing 8$$ in a bandaid fix.The next day I sent the truck into another shop savy mechanic, and paid for another full dianostic, I then discovered that my 95 Ford truck pick up had burned warped valves! And that this was the major central problem. No use in doing a valve job because the engine also was coolant compromised with rust, I simply needed to swap and drop in another engine, no problem, done deal. Why they did not inform me of this fact, I don't know.

WARNING!! DEN OF THIEVES!! Do yourself and your wallet a favor, do not come here. I brought my vehicles here for a few years and had no idea the wool that these people were pulling over my eyes. These people are seasoned crooks. I had no idea how bad it was until the owner offered me a job there. It only took a couple of weeks to see the wrong doing. They do not care about you. They only want to get as much money out of you as possible. I quit the job because I can not be a part of their ill business. They even sold me parts to my truck that I DID NOT NEED. MY TRUCK IS BROKE UNTIL THIS DAY. They take advantage of older people and DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTERESTS AT MIND! Seasoned crooks! DONT DO IT!

I made an appointment at 9am. This is my only car. I get there at 8:45 and sit in the waiting area. They say I have to leave because they are not going to work on it until way later... (Why the heck did I make an appointment, then?)I said I have to wait cause it's my only car. The owner said "THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. You can't stay here. We are short staffed..." I get being short staffed, but to tell me that's not my problem and I can't wait in the waiting room... WOW!Very dirty waiting area with stained chairs and the whole place smelled like wet dog inside the small reception/waiting/office area.Made another appointment, but obviously those are useless

I am not one to write negative reviews, but I feel it necessary to warn others about the poor customer service I received at this business. I had them replace my battery a few weeks ago. Today, I left work and my car wouldn't start. Luckily, I was able to get a jump. I went in and they told me they had to do a diagnostic for $35. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the electrical system and they sold me a bad battery. When I asked them to waive the $35 they wouldn't budge. So I'm out $35 and 2 hours of my time. Needless to say, I will never return to this business.

They were kind, but I believe took advantage or have poor work ethic.I spent close to $800, 500 of that was on labor, which is understandable. However I got my car back with a broke off hood release leaver and the bolt that holds my alternator on was out of place and sticking out 2 inches...Had to turn around and take my belts off to get the alternator bolted back in. Neither thing was even acknowledged .I would never go back..

Process has changed a little bit. Oil change done very quickly but unfortunately they did not check the air in my tires. I know that because I know that they were a little low due to temperature outside. Next time I will still go there and just point out to be sure that they check the tire pressure

This was my first time here, and I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews--people either loved the place or hated it. But my dealership could not determine what was wrong with my Sonic. In fact, they told me to bring the car back in when the "Check Engine" light came on, and then they would know where to start. Auto Tech II assured me they would find the problem, and they did! The motor mount on the passenger side was compromised. They got the part (ha ha, from my dealership) and replaced it the next morning. After over 4 months of vibrations, noises and a front end that sounded and felt like marbles, my car runs smooth and quiet again. Auto Tech II will be my GO TO place for auto service from now on.

Dropping my car off, for diagnosis and repairs, that I brought in using a tow-dolly, was fairly easy with their mechanics crew helping, and checking it in was easy.I've used this repair shop a couple of times, and they were always professional with the services they rendered, and it's why I went back to them this time.

Auto tech 2 is awesome. I had my dodge taken to Phillips Chrysler dodge in Ocala. My truck was there for a month and a half. They told me my truck could not be fixed. So I took it to auto tech 2 and they got it fixed. A screw was lose is all it was. If you want your automobile fixed right at a reasonable rate. Take youautomobile here! I will not use anService: Auto engine diagnostic

Took truck in because my check engine light came on. Owner said it was the fuel fill hose. Charged me &450.00 and said it is fixed and it was a small pin hole vapor leak. Two days later check engine light came back on. I went to another service center with technec. Inc and it was a hose under the hood. Light was reset after repair and only cost $50.00.On another note rear end passenger axle differential was leaking, charged me $900.00 and in six months it was leaking and needed to be rebuilt. This repair was repaired at another shop under warranty from technet. This shop owner is a scam artist. If your smart you will go somewhere else.Service: Engine repair

Very pleasant staff. From the front desk to the mechanics. I appreciate their hard work and their desire to get my vehicle up and running. My mechanic, Rob, was very experienced and was able to locate the problem. Also, Jim and Terry really do care that each customer is fully satisfied. Will definitely continue my services here.

Had to get service work on car.Told to try them out. The service from the moment I arrived was top notch. They explained what would have to be done and around the price. Now you would think it was a big corporate place. But it is not. It's a family owned shop. Told them I would have to wait for service to be done. They said no problem. But if I would like they would give me a ride home. Then pick me up when the service was completed. So would recomend if you need service on your vehicle's this is the place to go. Felt that they were up front and honest with their work.

I highly recommend this shop. I had a problem with my car that a major dealership couldn t seem to fix. I took my car to Auto Tech II and within one week I was back on the road again. So these people knew what they re doing.

This was my second time there and I won t return. What they do well-identifying the problem. Other shops seemed to be guessing about sensors and modules. What s bad- sky high mark ups on parts and labor. Charged me $325 for a rebuilt alternator and another $325 labor.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

Called for a quote to get lifters changed in my truck. Was quoted 2400 dollars and to bring the truck in, in 8 days. On the 8th day I was called and told the price was 2800 dollars. When questioned and asked what parts were included, the parts list was wrong. Head mechanic rob said he would call me back when questioned about parts and price. Rob called back and told me I was right the quote was wrong and the new price was 3300 dollars. I told them don t touch my truck I will be in the next day to take it somewhere else. When MIKE the parts guy was confronted about the fact that I spent almost 1000 dollars on rental cars and wasted 8 days, he simply shrugged and asked what s that got to do with me? . I said you gave me the quote right? He tried to say he didn t remember the number. He then tried to tell me that s the way things go sometimes bud. When I talked to the owner that was sitting right next to him, he said he was aware of the situation. I said so you don t care either and his reply was NOPE.Will never go to auto tech II again and have warned every living soul I have been in contact with. By doing this, I had another gentleman tell me a similar situation they put him in.Seems to be they wait to get your vehicle, try to get it started then when it s taken apart call you with a higher quote. If I could give zero stars I would. I have reported this to the BBB.

Auto tech is where we take our cars that are not on warranty. We've been doing business with them for eight or nine years and have always been happy with their work and their honesty. They've done all kinds of work for us from tire repair to replacing wheel bearings on a boat trailer to repairing the supercharger on one of our cars. Good people and good work.

They would not honor a warranty on a $471 alternator that was within the 24 month warranty limit. Parts warranty comes from the manufacturer meaning they would not have been charged for the replacement alternator. The manufacturer would have replaced it for them at no charge. They could ve gotten $231 of labor from me because the labor did expire. If they had honored the parts warranty I would ve paid them to install it.Total bill for the original job was $775.I was a purchasing manager for 11 years. I know how manufacturing warranties work. They simply didn t want to do the job.If they decide to honor the warranty I will come back and change my rating.

I called this afternoon to get an estimate on work to be done on my Ford F-150 2 hours before they closed. I was asked if I was looking for the cheapest price. Before I could get a reply out, I was told they would not be the cheapest and the customer service man hung up on me. I had been a repeat customer, but no more. Talk about rude. Does not get any worse than this. I would give them zero stars if I could.

I was referred to Auto Tech 2 from another repair facility that was unable to diagnose my intermittent issue after having my truck for 3 days. Auto tech 2 diagnosed my issue quickly and had me back on the road the following day. Outstanding service!!! Will differently be back in the future.

Wish I had checked the reviews before taking my car to Auto Tech II. I have been there a few times previous and each time felt that no one was listening but my wife liked their thorough chit chat. Each time I was given a laundry list of items over a grand that just had to be fixed. Today I explained that the rear end was wobbling and could they check the rear tires possibly for balance. They found with the simplest of inspections that the rear left tread was seperating and would need to be replaced. They also expressed to me the need to replace my ball joints. For this expression i was charged an additional $47. $47 dollars for the opportunity to sell me ball joints. Enjoy your $47 it's the last of my hard earned money you get. I'll take my money to someone who will listen and respect my business. No thanks Jim!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! My mother dropped $2,700 here to get the front end, brakes and tire rotation done. They could've caused a wreck with the subpar work they did. First the right caliper locked up causing the car to be immovable. While checking it out, it was discovered that there was a bolt missing. Also, all of the bolts on both calipers were loose. The brake pad on the one that locked up was put on upside down!! Plus the old bolts were used instead of new ones. The tire rotation wasn't even do e. When we called about the warranty, we were given the runaround. It was also asked about how often they check their torque wrench to make sure it works properly. The man that claimed he was the head mechanic couldn't answer the question. For your safety as well as the safety of others on the road, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Excellent job and kept me informed all the way. I gave (Bill) the mechanic a repair that the Ocala Ford dealer said they could not do. Bill let me know what the problem was and performed the repairs. I will definitely use this garage for my repairs on my Ford.

I had my 12 chrystler van towed here.Problem: my van is regularly maintenance and has never missed a service. Until two days before Christmas I never had any issues. On that day, while driving, a burning smell came from the air conditioner. I turned it off and cracked the windows. Then, it started reving to speed up to only 30mph. Then, all the lights on my dash came on. Thankfully I made it back home. However, it didn t turn back on after that day until we had it towed by auto tech II.Experience: the tow truck driver was polite and kind when he took the van.The mechanic was polite and kind when telling us that the issue was the alternator and giving us our nearly $1k invoice for the tow and repair.A week after the repair the van broke down. Just turned off while I was parking. A few days later it turned off at a stop light and finally a few days later it struggled to turn on.My husband took a day off of work to take it to get seen again. The receptionist insisted there would be a fee to see it again in addition to the cost of the repair, if needed. She was nasty and rude- unprofessional in her customer service if it should even be called that. The mechanic called back apologized. Insisted that he did not see anything wrong with the vehicle and told us he just reset it and assured us it should be fine and did not charge us.Two days later I drove it but 5 minutes to the grocer and back. It didn t turn back on.My husband called again and the receptionist again was so foul my husband countered it with kindness but decided we will take our business elsewhere. We did; turns out it was NOT the alternator. It was something to do with the TPM wiring on chrystler a between 2005 and 2015. Mechanic says it s very common and fixed it within a few hours and charged us but $600 for the tow and repair.Sadly, although the mechanic tow men were polite and kind I can t say the mechanic executed the job and I will express again the receptionist should not be in a customer service profession.Look else folks and good luck on getting it fixed quickly, correctly and cost efficiently ELSEWHERE!

Very honest people have been in the area for a long time to a fabulous repair job every time we bring our vehicles there. They charge for a diagnosis of the problem but let me tell you it's worth it. Excellent people excellent care.
