I just moved to Florida from New York this winter and my A/C never worked on my 2008 GMC Yukon Denali, In New York I never cared much for A/C so it not working didn't bother me. It was a different story for me here in Florida. After much research I decided to give "Affordable Auto Air & Care" a try, boy was blown away ! Superior customer service skills, prompt diagnosing and information relaying on what was wrong and needed to get done to fix my issue. Along with that the price was amazing ! I have been in the automotive field for 13+ years as a manager for "Mavis Tire" & "Monro Automotive" and I must say my entire experience with this company far exceeded my expectations and will be recommending "Affordable Auto Air & Care" to absolutely everyone I know. Amazing job & amazing staff. Excellence has been achieved by this shop !

Really appreciate this good business. Their mechanic resolved my air conditioner in a timely manner even with an older vehicle. The work is guaranteed and they took great care to be upfront with costs and concerns. Highly recommended!

I spent 2 weeks trying to fix my A/C in our 2002 FX-4 Lariat F-150.I wish I had taken the truck in to Jen & Shawn first at Affordable A/C.The problem was found right away and Jen communicated with us via phone calls and updates. The trucks A/C has never worked this good in 12 years! They have all my Auto Air Business from now on. If you have Auto A/C troubles look no further. This is the place.Thank you Shawn and Jen . Excellent Job! Now I don't have to spend $60,000 on a newer Ford F-150.If I can only find a Concrete contractor to do drive way work this easy in Ocala, Any suggestions?Thank YouTim & Arlene Robles

My Ford expedition AC wouldn t blow. Cold air brought it in and within two days was repaired works great price is very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

It is difficult to find a legitimate auto mechanic these days, and by that I mean an old school mechanic that uses knowledge and experience over a computer plug in with "codes" defining an issue. My wife and I were very happy with the upfront honesty as regards to the repairs needed. It wasn't a guessing game and no shock value to the bill. Jen was great at letting us know the issue that was diagnosed and what would be involved. We dropped off our vehicle with the a/c having Compression issues and it was resolved and back home in 6 hours. Love local business owners and will be back with any other issues.Service: Air conditioning

I have an older car and a small budget. The guys were very upfront about what was needed and what could wait. I appreciated their forthrightness to do what was right for me, the customer, and not just their bottom line. If you want excellent, expert service with down to earth people, this is the place!

Both Jen and her husband are very knowledgeable and professional. She kept me informed during the entire process on my 18 year old jeep air-conditioning with text and pictures. It was an 18 year old mess!! But he made repairs quickly and it performs better than new. Some folks may think it was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this repair shop! Jen and Shawn provide TOP NOTCH professional service and I have never felt overcharged for any car or truck service. Prices are always upfront and Jen makes sure to explain everything in detail before any decisions are made regarding repairs. Shawn is extremely knowledgeable and was the ONLY mechanic that could properly diagnose my husbands engine issue with his F250, seriously we brought it to three different places before being referred to affordable air and auto care! I will always recommend this shop and continue to bring all of my vehicles here for service. Thank you, Jen and Shawn for providing honest work at honest price!

I was referred by another satisfied customer. My son's AC stopped working in his 2005 Toyota Sequoia. The folks at Affordable Auto Air had it diagnosed and fixed in record time. Affordable Auto Air & Care has been servicing and repairing my families many vehicles for over 15 years. I would never go anywhere else. They are highly skilled and always do an excellent job.Almost more importantly the owners, Sean and Jen are kind, honest people with integrity. Shawn and Jen have been my go to for my vehicles for like 15 years now. I trust them. Shawn is a superb mechanic. Jen is the most sweetest and efficient and always makes sure you understand the work to be done and the price. Always have been 100% satisfied with their work. I have been doing business with Affordable Auto Air for over eight years. I have taken several of my vehicles there for service and repair and they have always charged fair prices and have done great work. I never have any hesitation referring friends or even customers of my business to go there as I know they are very honest and do great work.

I used to go to another shop in Ocala but their work quality has started to slip. I went to Affordable Auto on the advice of a local transmission shop to have my a/c checked after spending $1500 at the other place and it still wasn't right. Shawn found the issue in minutes and it has been great ever since. Recently, they corrected a very frustrating brake issue on my truck. Look, you are going to pay good money wherever you go. Why not go where you are treated right and the work is done well. Affordable Auto is now my go to shop for all my work.

Jen and her husband run a top-notch operation - I bought a vintage Jeep (without A/C) sight unseen in the Ocala area and had them install an aftermarket kit I purchased from Jeep Air nearby. The installation required several custom components (which Jen sourced for me) and she kept me up-to-date with texts and photos of progress throughout the project, which took a week. Everything was done over the phone and could not have run more smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Affordable Air to anyone, no matter where they live - Jen said people have shipped cars to them for A/C jobs and then had them shipped back and I would absolutely do this if another project called for it. I had my wife's A/C worked on. It was ready one day after they ordered the parts. This is my first encounter with affordable auto air. Nice people and a clean shop. It was expensive but all A/C work is that way any auto repair shop you go to. If it lasts it will be worth the price for the repairs.

Well just got my jeep back it was there to get a oil change and to fix the air bag light. It turned out their was a part inside the column, behind the wheel and air bag ...not something I like to mess around with! Jen managed to make the time that day for me to get it fixed for me and back on the road safely. I can not say thank you enough to them for the kindness and consideration for my family's safty. Thorough service and diagnostics that gets right to the problem solves it, don t push any products on you or services that you don t need just get the job done and most the time they have satisfied customers. How great are these folks? I drove 100 miles from Jacksonville to have them work on my Jeep!I ordered a completely new AC for my 2006 Jeep TJ from Jeep Air, and had the team at Affordable Auto Air & Care do the installation. I'm handy, but A/C is fickle. They did a great job, and even provided some minor follow up service.A completely new A/C is a big investment. These people provide quality service at a fair price. They will be up front with you and won t try to nickel and dime you! I had taken my old car to them a couple times, they were always a pleasure to talk to. Made sure I knew what was wrong and broke down the cost for me. Will definitely go to them in the future for any issues I have and just regular maintenance.

Behind all the smiles and attention hides a predatory attitude against the unsuspecting customer. I took the car to them to fix the air conditioning, and they charged me EIGHTY DOLLARS AN HOUR! for five hours of work, to change an evaporator, which is clearly abusive. I ended up paying over $ 700 for work that should not have cost more than $ 150.How much does an official car dealer charge for an hour of work? Why should this mom and pop operation charge the same?I will never recommend this place to anyone, and of course will never return to them with any of our cars. It is highway robbery. Shame on them.

Ford Fusion A/C blowing ONLY hot air. My A/C was worked on in New York by 2 shops AND Ford service center. After 10 days and $750 it was still blowing hot.Affordable Auto Air & Care (Ocala Fl) had me up and working (less than 2 hours labor) for $250. I'm completely satisfied with their service.
