A potential purchaser called this place to do an inspection of the rv I was selling.He charged them $750 for the inspection and while he was pretty thorough when he left we found a few things broken from his inspection and a scratched corner of our countertop we had to fix.He couldn t start the generator and I had to do it for him. We found a broken plastic seat handle too that was not broken before he inspected the vehicle.Prior to his inspection I had mentioned that we spilled Coke on the brand new mattress we had just purchased. He saw the spot (prob 4-5 in diameter) and immediately claimed that there was a roof leak and that the entire roof had to be replaced! Wrong!! The mattress was damp from us steam cleaning it. After the inspection I sent him a text letting him know that we adamantly disagreed with his findings. There was not a single water spot in the roof and absolutely no water leak.He also said the slide wouldn t go out the full 14 and that was incorrect too. I then took a picture of the slide fully open with a tape measure and it opened exactly to the manufacturer spec.I don t think that I would ever trust him to do any repairs for me whatsoever.Also note that he didn t ask me to take him around in the rv or to drive it himself so that leaves the engine, drivetrain, power steering system and suspension from being included in his report. What good is an inspection report without including those items? I ended up selling the rv to the couple that got the inspection done but clearly the report was incomplete and biased towards the purchaser to get my price down.

We called 1st Call RV Service to do an inspection on an RV we were looking to purchase several states away from us.It was difficult to coordinate the sellers available times, but David collaborated with us the entire time.David new we were anxious, so he called us as soon as he left the property with a general overview. He encouraged us to ask as many questions as we wanted. We had the full written report THAT SAME EVENING!David s report was incredibly detailed which included lots of pictures. He pointed out any issues that we might want to take a second look at.David said to call him anytime if we thought of anything else we might have a question on. He truly seemed to care about us and the process.We wouldn t hesitate to call 1st Call RV Service again if the need arises, which I hope isn t for a long time. LOL

After asking what my issue was:"Call someone else, we don't know when we can get to you".For an emergency electrical issue.Gee, thanks.Just to be clear, if (in what I understand to be slow season for RV Repair in FL), you're overloaded and can't provide timely service, I totally get and respect that.But asking me to describe my situation in depth and *then* telling me you're too busy tells me you're cherrypicking jobs. That's fine, too - but that's also why you're getting 1 star.

I hired this company to perform an inspection prior to purchasing an RV. The inspection report, photos, and all-around customer service were excellent.The report was extremely detailed. It contained photos of every issue (and non-issue), as well as summary pages listing all safety, major, and minor issues to repair. It began with a table of contents, so you can easily find information.Hiring this company was an investment in peace of mind, and that investment paid dividends. I was able to re-open price negotiations with the list of things to fix. I also won't be surprised on the road.Overall, the service provided gave me more confidence in this major purchase.�My end-to-end experience with 1st Call RV Service was top notch.
