I went to Stepp s one day in a pinch since i live so close. I thought I had a bad alternator which was going to be an expensive repair, but I was delighted to hear that it was just a bad sensor. Quick repair, very friendly and helpful. A great neighborhood mechanic! I will continue to take my cars here for all future service and repairs!

My check engine light came on and just at that moment I was near Stepp's auto repair. What luck! He came out right away and did a diagnostic twice on a car I am supposed to be driving 1500 miles in 2 days. Everything checked out and his fee was so reasonable, I gave extra. We need more auto repair guys like Stepp's. Thank you very much

Bill Stepp is one of a kind and has been working on my classics for the last 12+ years. He's an old school mechanic and a racer who's trustworthy and knows his way around cars inside and out. If you have a classic, an American car or even an Asian import I'd highly recommend giving Bill a call.

Was referred here by my boss, stepps is an awesome mechanic and knowledgeable. He helped me with my 95 lexus that I couldn't get started. He was affordable and not pushy also helped me with some electric work on the car. If I could give zero stars I would. A complete waste of time. After telling Bill the owner the exact year ,make and model of my car and the nature of my problem, he instructs me to bring the car in and leave it so he can diagnose it. I dropped it off on Thursday afternoon as instructed. It's a 40-minute round trip and I have my wife help me drop off the car. Bill calls me about an hour before they're ready to close on Friday and tells me I can come pick up the car with absolutely no explanation at all. I tell him I won't be able to pick the car up with such short notice and since they are closed on Saturday and Sunday now I will now have to wait to pick my car up on Monday. I arrived on Monday to pick up my vehicle and he simply brings me the keys without a word about whether he even looked at the car or offered no diagnosis at all. So I asked him if he was able to figure out what was wrong with the vehicle. He replied it needs motor mounts. Still he offered no estimate to fix the motor mounts. This was all very strange so I took my keys and my car and left. The next day I tried to call but there was no answer so I left a message on his answering machine asking him how much it would cost to fix the motor mounts and when I could bring the vehicle in to have it repaired. I got no response I tried again at least two more times and left messages still he did not even have the common courtesy to call me back. Finally on about the fourth or fifth try he answers the phone and when I asked him how much he will charge to fix the motor mounts, he tells me he can't work on my car. I asked him why and he responded that the car was too old. The car is a 1987 Dodge Shelby CSX and in beautiful condition inside and out has it had been stored or at least 20 years in an air-conditioned storage unit. Subsequently I brought the car to another mechanic who fixed quickly and efficiently for less than $200 with absolutely no issues at all. I absolutely, unequivocally would not recommend this guy to anyone, as he has no qualms about wasting your time. Another thing I find a very strange is that he states he has been fixing cars for approximately 40 years and most of his reviews we're done within the last year.

Been going to Bill Stepps a dozen years through 5cars. The man can do it all. He belongs in Vegas with a majic act. Has done numerous repairs on my cars including a total engine replacement on my Jeep. The main thing you look for besides quality in your mechanic is honesty. I can t tell how many times Bill has made suggestions other than just taking the money and moving on. Old school, class act guy.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

I was greatly disappointed in the service at stepps. I had trouble fixing my brake lights, told them a method I used to help fix the solution (fuse switch) and told them I did that. They charged me for doing the exact same thing I did, and said it was "fixed" when it wasn't. Do not recommend coming here, it's a waste of time and money. Ended up fixing my car myself, which was WAY less expensive and less time consuming.Service: Electrical repair

Have been a customer of Stepp's for over 20 years. Only concern I have about this guy is what will I do when he retires? My husband and I have had a total of 4 cars over the past 20 years - all credit goes to Bill's excellent car repair services, for reaching over 100,000 on these vehicles. I would give 10 stars, if that were possible.

He is a great honest mechanic I would recommend him to anybody. He gets to know his customers and their vehicles personally. Is easy to get an appointment. He has lots of interesting magazines in his waiting room to help you pass the time

Have you ever wished that you had a family member that was a mechanic? Look no further. He is honest, fair and anyone who deals with him will hold him in the highest regard. Bill is a real gem.

My dad started taking his car to Mr. Stepp s in the late 80s and I have a continued since 2000 You will not meet a nicer man who is fair, does quality work and will not come up with new repairs while fixing what you came in for!

Bill does a great job with auto repair. He is very honest, and very accommodating. The parking here can be a challenge.
