I use this place for many years, price is reasonable and I get good result. Howard is very knowledgeable mechanic, he is bringing a lot of his knowledge from service in the Air Force. Some will salute you.

Howard expertly diagnosed and fixed my minor transmission issue (and charged me only for a few hours of labor) after the Mercedes dealership quoted me $12,000 to completely replace my transmission. I would like to update my post as this is from a while back: "I've had my 2003 Cadillac Seville's engine and trans rebuilt by Howard and my 2005 Dodge Caravan engine and trans also rebuilt. The van now shows 254,000 miles on it and it's still going. This is the most honest, kind, and fair shop owner I've met and will continue going to Advance for all my auto needs. Thanks Howard, keep up the good honest work and we'll keep coming to you!"Now in October 2023 Howard is helping me with my Son's pickup truck. The engine stopped and he informed me that the 125,000 mile engine had broken it's crankshaft. He is helping me to decide what direction to take with the vehicle and is very understanding of my budget concerns. One thing I truly appreciate is that he always gives honest advice and is never trying to sell you something you do not need. Keep up the good work Howard! I was on vacation and encountered mechanical difficulties, found this shop and was really, really happy with the owner's transparency and honesty. I recommend them for all your vehicle repair services. They provide great service, customer friendly and very reasonable with their price. I was experiencing engine problem and took it to Howard, he diagnosed the problem, I told him to fix it. The turn around time was immaculate and my vehicle is driving like brand new. Thank goodness for a great mechanic. I was on vacation last month, which we decided to drive. The car started making a weird noise and I just had it. My wife ran through the mobile and contacted Advance Transmission. To my surprise we spoke to a gentleman, named Howard, who actually told me what to do over the phone. I was in shock, "a mechanic that spoke to me like a family member and advised me a temporary fix". I had to meet this guy. I was totally impressed. When I showed up at the shop, Howard was welcoming and very knowledgeable, he had my vote. To say the least I was leaking transmission fluid and I needed it fixed. Howard provided a 5-star service all around. The transmission to my 2013 Ford Explorer was "shuttering". I researched and compared Advanced Transmission to others both locally and Miami. Three other mechanics gave me quotes for various issues ranging $2,200 to $4,500! Howard insisted on doing a transmission fluid change with added anti-shutter fluid. Two weeks and $150 service later - and it is GONE. Here I thought I needed to replace the transmission with only 116,000 miles. I can tell right from the beginning Howard was an honest and personable man, hence why I trusted him when I was convinced the truck had other issues. Good to know he does almost all mechanic work which is why I will be returning for absolutely everything. So thankful for my experience with Advanced Transmission.Service: Transmission

I have received nothing but exceptional and outstanding service with Advanced Engines and Transmission. Mr. Howard is the best expert for all of your car repairs and needs. Even when I didn't have all of the funds available upfront for my repairs; he was still willing to arrange a reasonable plan for repayment, so that I wouldn't be without transportation. The prices are also fair and affordable. My repairs were completed efficiently and in a timely manner. Thank you again for all that you have done for me. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic.

Do Not Go HERE!!!!!! These guys are scam artists. First off I brought my 2018 Subaru Sti Here and was told by the owner himself they could handle it no problem. I was given an estimate for 6100 for a short block replacement. So i gave Howard 3 grand to start fixing it. He called me almost three weeks later telling me he couldnt do the work for the price we agreed to because it was a different engine and he ordered the wrong part. He said 15,000.00 Clearly he just was lazy and didnt wanna do the work but he needed something out of it. Highly confusing. Poor explanation and when questioned which i have on camera, you can see i called him out for doing me dirty. Earlier he was actually going to try and charge me more. I went there because of these wonderful reviews and was robbed. He refunded 2500 of what i gave him and didnt even give me a reciept for why he was charging me that 500. He might be able to fix a piece of junk but if you have a nice car that you care about dont go here.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Howard replaced our 2014 Ford Escape engine after the local dealership messed it up. He provided high quality work, excellent customer service and a very good price. Howard is the way to go if you want to get your vehicle fixed properly. After countless repairs at other shops and my vehicle running bad still. He was able to narrow down the problems.He is easy to communicate with and knows his stuff. He is a good guy. Highly recommend him.

My service was an engine replacement. My former mechanic was so bad & incompetent that I ended up needing a new engine and I didn't know where to turn.My son's boss recommended Advanced Auto & Transmissions. He told me they were the best and it was the only place he sent all his vehicles (business & personal) for all service maintenance & repair. He was so right.Advanced Auto & Transmissions not only replaced the engine, at a great price but made absolutely certain that all things in my car (a/c, starter, etc.) worked perfectly. My car feels like it did when it was brand new. I am a customer for life. Ask for Howard!

I stopped by to get a quote on what I thought it was a transmission problem. Howard was very patient and drove my car for a block and immediately told me it had a issue. I appreciate his honesty and his time! I hope I don t have to use his services in the future but if I need I won t hesitate to go there!!

Incredibly knowledgeable mechanic that gave me extremely fair quotes for all work. Even offered a lower price if I brought in my own parts. Great guy! Also had a younger inexperienced kid working, make me real happy to see him training the community! Mechanical work is invaluable

Howard is amazing. Part of me hopes that no one else finds this shop so I can have him all to myself and my friends and family. I couldn't ask for or, expect the level of attention and peace I found here. I will refer him and the shop to anyone that will listen.Update. A year later and my silverado's rebuild engine is still running strong. Just go see Howard.

Howard is the most honest, hardworking mechanic I've ever found. He is always willing to look after my car and access and fix any problems without the the hassle or overpricing the repairs. He's hands down the man to see for all of your cars needs.
