These guys are amazing! It's a family owned and operated business. The guys that work here genuinely care. James is the most knowledgeable mechanic I've had the pleasure of meeting. He takes his craft very serious. He always makes me feel heard, and he explains the problem(s) and possible solutions in a palatable and distilled way. He offers options that suit different budgets. Upon completion, he walks you back through what he did while looking under the hood, and gives you a heads up on what you should look out for next. I've been to plenty of big and small mechanics in Broward, Palm Beach County, and Dade, after meeting this fantastic group of guys I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else. Also, at no point did I feel talked down to or judged. It was, and always is truly a pleasure. Oh, and turn around time very snappy!

I can only speak of their ability diagnose and repair car ACs. Not good. Two years in a row I paid almost a thousand dollars each year. Long story short after having it repaired AC worked about 6 months or so before blowing warm again. I have since discovered a 20 dollar can of freon at Home Depot does the exact the same thing. It works for about 6 months. So now I wonder why I paid almost a thousand dollars for two consecutive years when a can freon did the exact same thing.These guys might be good with other automotive stuff but I suggest you not let them work on your AC. Clearly not their specialty

Great service and excellent work. Adamo has kept my 2 old vehicle s running like new, a 1992 Ford Mustang and a 1997 Buick. I won t trust my vehicle s with anyone else.

My truck needed new ball joints and other front end work. Also had issues with vacuum hoses and my 4 wheel drive. On both occasions Adamo Auto took care good care of my truck and me. Professional and reliable. They stand behind their work. This will be my mechanic I will continue to use even if it s just an oil change.Strongly recommend!

John and the entire Amado team are by far the best auto shop in Oakland Park. For context, I own a 2003 Honda Element. I first found Adamo by searching for a shop near me because apparently people steal catalytic converters??? Anyway, I saw that Adamo had great Google reviews and they were conveniently located close to home. They promptly looked at my car (you could hear it coming a mile away ) and educated me on what a cat is they gave me my options and pricing up front so I could make the best decision based on my budget and had my car repaired and ready the same day. I was so impressed with their service. Fast track a few months and my driver side window decided to stop going up plus my ac wasn't working and needed an oil change. Once again, they took the time to let me know what was wrong, educated me and even put my parts to the side to show me why it was so important to replace instead of slapping a band aid on my AC issue. As long as I'm in OP and Adamo is in business, I'll choose them every time!

One of the most honest and helpful people I know. 12 years a mechanic and been at the location forever. Fixed my camper van 10/10. Was knowledgeable and patient with it lol. Thanks guys

I brought my car to get the air-conditioning fixed. It was not working on the driver's side or the rear of my Town and Country. The air was only blowing cold on the front passenger side. I was charged $651 and was told before they fixed the car that is what was wrong with the air-conditioning. I paid the $651. When I went to pick up my car I was told that the rear is not working still. The rear was blowing out hot air so the vehicle was still hot to drive in. Also, was told the driver's side is not as cold as the passenger side. It only blows cold when driving. When I stop it blows mildly cold. I had to bring my vehicle to another repair shop to get the rear fixed. Not happy about Adamo car repair.

Everyone needs a "guy" for their car. John & his team are my "guy." I've been going to Adamo for six different cars (between my kids' & my wife's and mine) since 2013 when a friend recommended it. Most recently, he fixed my AC for $200+ less than one of the specialized AC repair stores were going to charge me. I asked him about the other aspects of the repair the other guys said was needed, John told me to hold off, they weren't needed (yet). AC has been running great since. He also told me when it was time to get a new car when the one I'd been bringing in there for years (and paying him money to repair). Once he had to "re-fix" things that didn't go right, and did so for free. Plan to leave the car for a couple days...they're not fast, but they're good, and honest.

Can't recommend this shop highly enough. Its a father/son business, and they're genuinely nice people. Honest, reasonable prices and they do good work. A friend recommended them to me a few years back when my clutch broke and I was new to the area. If you need a reliable, trustworthy mechanic, give them a try.

This is a father and son operation. They really know their stuff, they're priced fairly, do excellent work and they're honest. I can't ask for anything more from my mechanic. They take care of our classic car and our new car and we've never had a complaint. A good wrench is hard to find, now that we've found one, we'll never trust our vehicles to anyone else.

Long story short; I bought a truck from a dishonest dealership, took it to a Chevy dealership where they charged me $1200 and still couldn't fix the truck in over the 8 weeks that they had it, however, I took it to Adamo Auto Repair in Oakland Park, they figured it out in no time and gave me a very honest bill on it, James and his crew got my truck to not only perform correctly, but it feels and sounds like a brand new truck, I have owned this truck over a year now and I have never seen my truck drive as comfortably and sound as great as it does now. Absolutely amazed with the work these men can do and I would highly recommend Adamo Auto Repair over any other mechanic. Thanks guys!

Back in the early 2000 s I brought my vehicle to three different places and Adamos Auto did it for the cheapest and I ve been coming here every since. I ve never had a bad experience. In reality, they ve become like family. They sold me cars that I made payments to them on when times were hard. They ve fixed things on credit. They are the most loving individuals I have ever encountered. Sometimes I just go by the shop to chat. Highly recommendable!

These guys are great! After having a horrible time with the service department at Jeep, I brought my car in to Adamo and they were able to diagnose the issue ASAP and showed me exactly what was wrong.It was such a pleasure, and these Gentlemen really made the process easy.

I normally never leave a review. But in this case sharing about the best autorepair hands down in South Florida must be shared. John Adomo and his whole staff are like family. They are very reasonable and give you impeccable service. John has been my mechanic since 2000. Give John a try and you will feel the same.

Love this place and because I drive a problematic 2002 Trailblazer, I ve been in here a lot. Every time I ve been treated extremely well. The owner and staff are amazing and friendly. Pricing is always better than fair. I won t go anywhere else.

Took almost 3 weeks to get my car back, was a little upset about that, but saved me tons of money. That was the thing they did for me. Most chains would never do that. They are all a group of great guys. They treat you like family, not like a number.

just made a 3000 mile trip in a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 that has almost 200000 miles, From Fort Lauderdale Florida to Spokane Washington.Adamos Auto Is owned and operated by John senior and John junior Adamos. I was refered to them a few years ago by a friend of mine and have been using their services ever since. I believe without their servicing of my vehicles that trip would have never been possible.I 100% recommend you have your vehicle serviced here, The staff That is employed are 100% totally legit and are exquisitely knowledgeable and equipped to fix any major or minor issue.I will be bringing my Truck to them again this Thursday for service again to be ready for another long journey "Another1000 miles "I trust their judgment and expertise and will never take my vehicles elsewhere.I find great comfort knowing that my wife drives around in my vehicles safely, Because I know this great team Has my best interest.

Talk about getting taken for a ride! I took my vehicle in to get it fixed for one issue that was supposed to be a couple hundred dollars and a MONTH AND A HALF later I get it back with over $2,000 owed and with more problems than ever.I was also told to bring it in for some other things they forgot to fix and they even said they wouldn't charge me but that was never the case. I got billed for every little thing and they tried to make it seem like they were giving me a discount by tripling the pricing and then doing the job without charging for labor. Meanwhile, the part was at an absurd price and they wouldn't let me purchase it myself because then they wouldn't guarantee it.I also forgot to mention that while they were working on the vehicle, they managed to damage a part of the vehicle that had absolutely nothing wrong with it and then they had the audacity to charge me for it! The only other review (which is anonymous... Probably the owner or employee) says that they were nice but that's only because they are raping you.Oh, and I constantly had to contact them to find out the status of my vehicle because they never had the decency to call me even though the car was supposedly "ready" and just sitting in their backlot. I ended up taking my car in on five different occasions and had to stop because each time they would mess something else up.You've been warned!!! Take your vehicle at your own risk and expect to pay 3-5 times more than what they quote you. Oh and by the way, the original problem still persists. So to sum things up: they charged me for their mistakes, took 4 times as long to finish as initially quoted, wouldn't contact me even when the car was "ready" and never fixed the issue. You'd be better off taking your vehicle to a lake and drowning it.

I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. I spoke to the owner who is extremely nice. He went beyond the standard of helping out with the necessary repair and the prices were not expensive.Thank you for all your service.

Its tough to find a stand-up" guy in the automotive repair business like John Adamo. When he says he's going to do something, he does it well and honestly, at a fair price. Stands by his work. My family and friends have been using Adamo Auto Repair for years without one single complaint. Highly recommended!

They are a very honest and very good at finding your vehicles problem and will have it fixed asap. I love my mechanic shop for all the needs of my car i can always rely on john sr., john jr, james, and G to get the job done. Thank you guys. Hod bless you all.
