Had an early morning appointment to put tires on. The car sat for 1hr and 15 min before they even looked at it. Don't know why they do appointments, when it's more like first come 1st serve. Just to put tires on took 2 1/2 hrs. Could have been done in 1hr if they honored the appointment.

Great place to just get a quick tire change and balance if you already bought tires online. More cost effective & you still get a quality technician for this type of service. Other companies either won t install unless you buy the tire through them or they are just unreasonable in price. Wait time is pretty quick as well and no appointment is required. Definitely recommend.

Saturday evening before Easter, driving for Walmart, I had a nail stuck in my tire after my last delivery. Normally I take Easter off as nothing is really open, but decided to go to work for Walmart first thing after Easter service (sunrise). Super busy Sunday, James and Dennis were extremely helpful getting me back on the road & back to delivering all your Easter delivery orders before heading to do the same for Amazon.Basically a horrible Saturday was rectified by the staff and service of all North Port Walmart Super Center's staff. Three walks around the store and a little bit later, I was back on the road. It's nice to be treated as a local after years of service to the community.Thanks all!

Takes several calls to get an answer and they were so booked that I couldn't get in. They only have daytime weekdays available and the car is at work an hour away during that time. I tried 2 different times a few weeks apart. Once for an oil change and once for tires. Did the oil change ourselves and went elsewhere for the tires.

We've taken several cars to this Walmart Auto Center and every time service has been great. Our visits have included oil changes, tire replacement, flat repair, and battery replacement. Prices are the best in town and no pressure for unnecessary add-ons. However, when the staff does recommend a service they explain the reasons why they're important. All of the staff members are knowledgeable by answering our questions and explaining things in layman's terms. I highly recommend road hazard coverage when you purchase new tires. Check in/out process is simple by text notification when you're vehicle is ready.

Extremely long wait time. Arrived at 7.45 am to have one tire replaced and took them 3 hours. I didn't have an appointment but the lady in front of me did and took that much time or longer. James at the front desk was great. Two mechanics in the back were working on cars the other 2 or 3 were playing with their phones. One of them after playing with his phone around 10.36 started change the tire and was ready at 10.57.

Make sure you gave an appointment l, because they're the cheapest in the area there is very slim change you will be able to walk in without a 6 hour wait

Emergency battery replacement on a Sunday. Most places were closed or over priced. Walmart Auto Care was speedy and sympathetic.

So waited for flat to be fixed. They came out and said can t be fixed after about hour or so of waiting. Ok how much for tires? They give me price and I ask if they had two because the two on front were brand new and wanted two for rear. After about another 45 minutes They replaced one and said I didn t specify that I wanted tqo. Manager says we assume you only wanted one. Why would I ask for two if only wanted one. He could have least said I am sorry sir we misunderstood and moved on. Instead he decided to argue that he was right so I said you are right thank you and then he said no that s not it. Wanted to continue to argue I simply said no problem it s all good please put the other tire on. Very poor customer service. Manager only wanted to prove me wrong and that it was my fault for not specifying. Maybe i didn t. Another 20 minutes and Manager comes out and says your other tire really doesn t need to be replaced SMH. Guess he is helping me save some money how oh well that s my story. Maybe it s me. Idk

The manager knows how to hold it together, especially dealing with some of these people. Very helpful. Wish there was more like him.

I have always taken my cars to Walmart and never had a problem. This one they are very rude. Told me twice my car had no oil in it but checked myself and had jiffy lube check and it did have oil. They refused service claiming because the leak was too bad but had it checked the next day and oil was nearly full.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Before going to Walmart read this review if you value your cars life. I came to Walmart to change my oil, had to wait up to an hour to change it. But that s not yet the worst part. I changed the oil at North Port Walmart before moving to South Carolina. The flaw from my part was not checking the level of oil after they have changed it, but since they change oil for a living I didn t even think of checking it. I fully entrusted them with my car. During the drive up I noticed that the transmission and engine was making a different/weird sound. After about 2 weeks after driving around in my car we finally decided to check the oil. To our surprise the amount of oil that was in the car was twice the amount that it was supposed to have. We took out the oil and it was pure black, plus the filter wasn t changed. (If it would have been changed they would have known that they haven t taken out the old oil.) So, now our car is leaking oil and it will cost a pretty decent amount to fix it. If you ever do get your oil changed at Walmart, make sure you check the oil level and the color of the oil. But I would strongly recommend for you to do it yourself. Thank you!Service: Oil change

Do not believe person who answers the phone. Told us they would replace battery when we got here. Upon arrival, 20 mins later, we were told 2 1/2 hour wait and were left stranded. I am handicapped with primary progressive MS and they didn't give a damn.

Was told at a different location that my receipt was needed for a battery warranty, on a battery only sold by wm. This location simply used the serial number, got me my free replacement, installed at no charge to me, and had me on my way! Terrible service. The worker made everyone wait in line for 25 minutes, then came and said that he was not taking any more work for the rest of the day. Could have done it earlier. He definitely needs a second assistant.

Went there 3 times, only one mechanic working. Advertising open til 7pm . Last time I was there at 4;30 they couldn t do an oil change or check tires. They only had 1 mechanic working.Mgr said 3 people called in and couldn t come to work!If a manager can t keep a crewThat will work something is seriously wrong!!John Beld

I waited for over 2 HOURS AND A HALF just so they could tell me it d still take another HOUR to get ONE tire replaced! The wheel wasn t even attached to a vehicle!!! They online needed to take a tire out, install a new one (that I brought BTW) and balance it! It s ridiculous!!! I took it back without doing the work and I won t waste my time there anymore.EDIT: I just went to the Firestone Certified Tire & Service. They did it cheaper than Walmart, better, and in only 15 min. They got a new customer for life and Walmart lost one.

If I could leave zero Stars I would! I had to wait forever pay for my tires that I had put on my car. Then they charged me for the wrong tires and when I questioned it they realized that they had put the right tires on my car and not charge me enough money. I then had to wait almost an hour for them to refund what I had paid and charged me the additional money. And when I complained about how long I had to wait the employees got loud with me. Then I get in my car and I look at my tire pressure gauge that is supposed to be at 35 PSI in each tire and not one of my tires is at that two of them are at 45 ones at 37 and ones at 43 PSI! They couldn't even get that right. I sure hope one of the tires don't fall off!

Replaced 2 tires yesterday 6/1/22, 2.5 hours to get done. Technician noted in invoice full size spare rim is bent but installed new tire on it anyway without consulting me. (You don't replace battery if you know alternator is broke, do you)? Returned next morning to install new tire on original rim. Will charge me $30 service for their shortcoming and the work has not started yet, I've been waiting over 2 hours. Technician's negligence at my expense, time and money. Way to go, North Port Walmart Auto Center. Never again.Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement

Wayne and the mechanic on duty was very helpful and professional. They took my car in at the very last minute, fixed my flat tire and I was on my way in a timely manner. God bless them, I really didn't know what I would have done, if they had said it couldn't be done, because, of closing time at 7:00pm. But, they squeeze me in at the last moment and I truly appreciate it.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!Save yourself the time and money and go anywhere else but here. I recently went in for an oil change and had the worst possible experience. Not only did the oil change take around two hours. My truck still needed an additional two quarts of oil!!!! It s a good thing I checked the dip stick before I left. So I had to go back in and demand the additional oil and got the hell out of there. Absolute failure from every angel.

Got there at 830am and was told 90 minutes wait for tires. Took 3 hours. Lost my TPMS valve stem but replaced with cheap one and still charged me $3.00 each. Was not compatible with my car as it could not read it. They told me to wait for 1 hour more so they could TRY to fix it. I left. Only thing good was tire prices. You decide.

Always busy. But great service and a great value, no wonder. Had issue with my battery. Wayne was as great a guy to deal with that you could hope for. Will continue to shop and tires etc. Why go anywhere else?
