Avoid this place! They rebuilt my trans and on the way home realized they hadn't tightened the rear shocks (2013 Corvette). They were only in a couple of threads! I ended up fixing it myself. I don't drive the car much but after a year (2000 miles) it started leaving a puddle of trans fluid on the garage floor. I called Kustom and they didn't want to deal with it. I took it to another shop and they found the rear shaft seal had never been installed. Shoddy workmanship! If I could I would give them 0 stars!Service: Transmission

They checked my car out on a noise, found no problem, no charge! Will go back if I have trans. problems .

After trying several mechanic shops and dealers and being told that they were 3 to 4 weeks out before they could see me I called Kustom Transmissions. The gentleman was so kind and although they were very busy told me if I would bring the van by he would test drive it. When I arrived he was rushing around and on the phone taking care of people and yet took my car for a test drive. He had a mechanic do a diagnostic test and recommended a mechanic that could help me with my issues. I would return to Kustom Transmissions in a heartbeat and would recommend their service. I found the gentleman to be respectful, understanding, and very kind. Thank you Kustom Transmissions!!

So awesome to find a honest Automotive shop. They guys are great. I took my Mercedes to them and was expecting to be charged over the top prices as usual. Nope, these guys checked it out, turned out to be only a reset issue (no charge) and were nice enough to look over the car and let me know about a few things that will need attention down the road... Thank you

Mark the owner is very knowledgeable with transmissions, he re-manufactured my grand caravan transmission, and it's been doing great. He warranty his work, and does a great job. Easy and simple to deal with.

If it was possible I would give this place negative five stars. No only did they not know how to do the job right, they made things worse. I came in for a transmission rebuild and they couldn't do that right. They left electrical issues as well as vacuum issues, such issues that were not there when I brought the car in to get fixed. I had to take the car in twice and it still doesn't work. I have called the store a few times but they would answer and hang up on me every time. They are trying to avoid me even though I already paid for everything. Warn anyone desperate enough to wind up here!

Definitely didn't enjoy my experience here. The manager needs to get his hearing checked because he misunderstood a lot during my conversations with him. Maybe their work is good, but just for the issues with the service here, I'll never bring my car back again.

What a great experience I had with your shop. Thank you so much for taking care of my old (2002) Isuzu Trooper. After the tranny blew with only 135,000 miles on the vehicle I thought for sure I'd have to junk it. The first shop I towed it to was twice your price! I have to admit Mark, I was sceptical at the great price I got for the repair but true to your word you got her shifting strong and driving great again. Your warranty gives me piece of mind too.Good to know you guys do general repair too. I highly recommend your service to anyone who wants honest dependable repair - tranmission or otherwise.- Frank

The place is a rip-off I would not recommend them!Can't even reseal a transmission!Returned it 3-times to no avail.Leaked worse than when I took it in.No stars from ME!Had someone else reseal it and guess what no leaks!Next time remember the pump o'ring and replace ALL the external seals!Had to add 1 star to publish

Fast and honest. They don't look to upsell you on things you dont need. I HIGHLY reccomend.Edit: I had a small leak and took it back. 2 months later they FULLY warrentied it and had me fixed the same day. No hassle, no questions. I will always be going here.

I was recommended by, a friend to Mark the owner. I brought my 64 chevelle show car, to him to fix the 4 speed trans, John his mechanic, rebuilt the trans and it shifts like new now.Good price and good service.

I was satisfied with the work at the time that we had our transmission rebuilt. It wasn't long before we were having the same trouble getting it into gear that we had before the work was done. Possibly they used a junk yard transmission in it, instead of rebuilding ours, as we paid for. The biggest issue we are having, is now trying to get the transmission out to work on it. The jackass that put it in tightened up the bolts so much that the heads are rounded off. We can't get them out and they're breaking off, so we may have to drill them out. What kind of mechanic doesn't know better than that??!! A job that was supposed to take a few hours has turned into a nightmare, just removing the bolts that they overtightened and stripped.

Rareley do U spend a lot of money with a company and feel like U got uour mony's worth. After having my 93 Madza towed all over and every body wanted to replace or rebuild the tranny, it ended up at Kustom.They replaced the bad part, gave me year warrenty. Been almost 2 mos, still workin great. 5 stars for this co.

I just picked up my Chevy truck from kustom transmissions and they are very nice people and do good work I would recommend them to all my friends and family. If I could give more stars I would.
