My husband and I went to the NSB Advanced location this morning to get his battery checked for his F250 diesel truck. The associate Brad attempted to check one of his batteries but couldn t get a read because the truck was pulling power from somewhere. My husband suggested to test the other battery (since it may be the dud) but Brad said it wouldn t matter and to go to a mechanic so we went to another Advanced Auto to get a second a opinion. When we arrived they immediately noticed the other battery (the one Brad said would be pointless to check) was SMOKING and leaking acid! Brad wasn t helpful or thorough whatsoever. We ll never go to this Advanced location again.

Went into this store not exactly sure what to look for and the nice employee named Arthur was extremely helpful. He made sure to listen to what I needed, look up my car details and explain differences in products to better suit my needs. I am so glad I came into this store, thank you Arthur! Give that man a raise!

Cristal is great! Stop by and meet her, let her see if you are in need of anything she will get the right products to keep your ride running optimally in this heat! She can hook you up with money saving reusable oil filters etc they cost a bit more today but you wash and reuse many,many times over saves fuel and over heating experience. Ask her for other tips! Remember your freon it's too hot for not!! If it isn't in the store she can probably get it PDQ. Ok my friends please Be Safe Out There and Enjoy the Summer!!

They are awesome. They just didn't have a lighter replacement thingy so lost a star. They are always helpful and nice. Customer service is never a disappointment.

Well I have to say you got some real good workers there they help me and got my car going again and the lady that had her arm hurt she's the one that put the new battery in my car she just sweetheart but she don't want me to say anything but she helped me a lot I appreciate it thank you again y'all the best

New Smyrna Advanced is near my house and I visit occasionally... always get the help I need;but today I decided to take the time to praiseChristal ( I think she s the mngr.) She ran the code on my truck about 2or3 weeks ago and was very helpful. I caught her just as she was reporting to work today and asked to speak with her before she even got settled!( other employees were busy with other customers).She very quickly put her belongings away.. and came to assist me with an awesome attitude, great insight and knowledge ,and patience, pinpointing my vehicles problem.(Check EngineLight On) which can mean any number of thingsEven after code read. I know some things about cars! Won t hesitate to return again..I am business owner for 35years and she is the kind of person you want to have work for you..P.S... I very rarely post a review ..Bravo Christal!!!

A big THANK YOU to Ryan for his help and excellent customer service. While on vacation the battery died in my car and he wasted no time at all testing the old one for me and then finding me the best deal possible when we determined a new one was needed. He installed it in no time and we were on our way in less than a half hour. I can not thank you enough for all your help!

Usually this place is okay. Today not so much. Needed a new battery and knew they installed it for free except for cars that "take too long". Didn't find out about that until after I paid and waited for someone to come out and check the battery to tell me. I'll go buy a new battery elsewhere for $50 less and install it myself.

No windshield wiper fluid and the guy who put on my new wipers was complaining that he had to do the service. Even after I tipped him which I didn't have to do , I didn't even receive a thank you. Will go to a different auto part store next time I need something for my car.

Ryan was extremely helpful and helped flip a lousy situation into an ok experience. I was at the beach, and my car battery was shot (no, I didn t leave it on and kill the battery while I was baking in the sun). It was old. I called and asked about redeeming the 15% off in the app in store. Ryan said it had to be done through the app. The app wasn t working as it showed the promo code was applied, but didn t take off the 15%. When I got to the store, I explained to Ryan what happened. I showed him on my phone, and he was able to apply the discount in store. I was concerned while driving there that they wouldn t have tools for me to use to take out my old battery, but Ryan said installation was included With the battery purchase. He used a wire brush and cleaned my cables, then out the new battery in.

It's not very often that you walk into an auto parts store in a good mood and that was the case last night. It was not a big problem but a major inconvenience that brought me into Advance Auto Parts and I have to say that the gentleman who greeted me with a big hello was exceptional. His name is Alex and he was friendly and very helpful. He is a great ambassador to this company.

Had to ask way too many questions when they should have been a little bit more assertive. We actually received the wrong light bulb as well after they looked it up and we had to return to exchange. So I guess check before you walk out the door and go in prepared with a list of questions. Then you should be okay

Talk about going above & beyond for for us. We had a flat while staying at a motel in New Smyrna Beach today. Napa wanted $180 for a jack. Mind you Napa was right across the street from motel. So I called Advance Auto Parts and spoke to John about our situation. John was gracious enough to have Tyler deliver a jack & tire plug kit to us. They didn t need to do this but it s great to know there is kindness & understanding people still out there. Thank you so much John it s very much appreciated. Thank you Tyler for delivering to us.

Went to leave our condo in the morning to travel 20 hours back home to find my car not starting in the garage. Once we got it started we drove directly here. We arrived at 7:40am Saturday, clearly the lady didn t want to be here. She definitely wasn t friendly. She told us our battery was fine! After stopping for gas and food several hours later my car barely started. I m not a professional at all, but even I knew it was the battery. Finally arrived home and took it to the local advanced auto here and they immediately said I had a dead cell. Yep, needed a new battery like we said.

Best customer service I've ever had in any auto parts store. I'm 54 and have owned many pos cars. Haha! But really, Jerry is the guy I dealt with...very helpful and a mechanic. He came out and helped me to diagnose the problem so I didn't have to buy parts I didn't need. Be nice to Jerry!

Bad place to buy a battery. Mine wouldn't hold a charge over night even when disconnected from vehicle. Tested to be only 5 volts. They tested it after they charged it for a day and said it was good. Would not warrenty it.I will now but a new battery on Amazon Prime for a third of the price.
