Honest, hard-working, knowledgable, efficient, and caring!These are the words you want to hear about a mechanic, and Sunset Auto scores a 10/10 with all of them. I have been using them for years now, and they know what they are doing. All I can say is their pricing is extremely fair, their knowledge is through the roof, and they will always go out of their way for you.Thank you Mario and Lukas! Will be back whenever I need more work done.

Great service for the price. I used Sunset Automotive at the beginning of 2024. The owner was responsive to my calls and kept me updated on his schedule. There was a miscommunication over the phone as to the trim of my car, which was frustrating, but the owner resolved the issue competently and expediently.Altogether, I was satisfied with my experience and would come back.

update March 2024. I continue to be extremely pleased with the awesome service provided by Lukas and his team at Sunset Automotive. I am happy to make the 20 to 30 minute drive to Lukas's shop for a simple oil change. His team is thorough and efficient. They discovered that my tires needed to be rotated and took care of it. They also discovered an electrical issue with my break lights, which I was completely unaware of. This is the best repair shop I have worked with, and this will be the only repair shop that I will use in Naples. Lukas is super knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, offers excellent prices, and above all else ---so important for a repair shop -- HONEST. I have sent a few friends to Lukas and all have told me about their great experience, and mentioned everything I mentioned above. If you need a car repair, call Lukas. You will be happy you did.update May 2021 -- I drove across town just for an oil change because Sunset Auto is the only place I will bring my car -- the only place I trust. As usual, Lukas did a thorough job, performing an oil change and looking over my newest car for any issues. My dad and I have always used Lucas and his shop. Whenever I call him, have an issue or not, he is always accomodating and takes care of me. I trust Lucas to work on my truck and I wouldn't bring it to anyone else.

These guys are extremely efficient, very organized, which is something that is rare in small shop auto mechanics and they are also reasonable. The only thing is that they are really busy because they are so good at what they do! I ve used them for the past 2 years now and I ve always been 100% satisfied with their service and customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone I know because I ve had some total disasters with other local mechanics until I found them.I highly recommend them!

Fixed brake lights that were always on. Did the job quickly. I could not get an appt at the Hyundai dealer for a month which would have cost more anyway. I highly recommend this repaair shop.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Lukas is great, Good service & work on our 20 year old car, Good prices, has solved several mysteries with our old car. 4/29/22 just fixed a check engine light, was there just a few minutes! And oil change, service and check out the horn all about an hour, great work!

I have mixed feelings about my experience with them. I had an emergency, and this was the closest Automotive to my house, so I went there first. While the person at the desk was very friendly and inviting, they didn't touch my car for a few days (weekend included, to be fair) accusing the long line-up of other cars. So I had to pull out my car and take it to another shop where they started working on it immediately. I guess these guys are way too busy, if you need work done promptly.

They were able to fix a problem I had with my engine splashguard. I had them do an oil and filter change at the same time. They were quite reasonably priced and professional and courteous. Lukas is so helpful and has been fixing my car for years. Always takes care of me and works super fast and stays in touch with updates. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Naples. Lukas is a great guy!

This place is great they worked on my Subaru. I was really happy with lucas he is very personable and called with up front pricing when he figured out what needed to be done. Most of all I was happy with these guys prices, they did a great job and my brakes were 100$ cheaper than usual and I had my window regulator replaced for 150$ less than I was previously quoted. All around A+

Sunset has done our automotive work for four years. We have never had a bad experience. Lukas the owner does what he says he will do and backs up his word. He goes out of his way to help. The pricing is very fair and reasonable. We have sent many people to him and there is never a complaint. It is such a joy to have him do our work. Great guy and company.

We were referred to Lucca and his team after our mechanic of 20 years retired and sold his shop. I had them do a repurchase inspection for a Tundra I was buying and they were very through. Then I brought them a van that had an A/C problem and he showed explained the issue they found and how it happened by showing me the damage on the original part. The price was very fair and it was done in a timely manner.I decided to move all of my non-diesel business to them and they have been great. They have replaced several timing belts, water pumps, inspected cam shafts, coils, and plugs. I highly recommend Lucca and his team. They are a top notch shop.If it is broken they will fix it, if it is wearing they will tell you, and if it doesn't need to be repaired they will let know as well!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes, Air conditioning

These guys were great! My car kept stalling and I couldn't continue having an unreliable car with a new job in Ft. Myers. I had my car towed on Thursday afternoon and needed the car before Monday. These guys found the issue (air flow metered) ordered the part and had the car ready by the next day. They even waited for me to get out of work and stayed an hour late so I could pick up the car. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend them!

Finding a good honest mechanic is difficult to do. I was in a bind and needed my tire fixed urgently before flying out of town. Lucas at Sunset Auto took my car in at late notice and was able to fix the problem within the hour. I was able to make my flight without any delay. If you are looking for a good mechanic who will treat you right at an honest price, I highly recommend Sunset Auto.

The evaporator blew in my car, I called Sunset to make an appointment for repair for a later date. After I hung up, I was not comfortable driving my car due to smoke and unpleasant smell coming out of the vents. I decided to show up at the shop a few minutes later to ask if it was safe to drive, I expected to be chewed out for showing up out of the blue, but I took a chance. Lukas and his guys looked over my car, performed an A/C check, flushed and replenished the freon, just to keep me going until my appointment.....without charging a dime. My car was repaired a week or two later, the labor took all day as the entire dashboard had to be taken apart. The repair cost was much less than it would've been anywhere else. I get my oil changed at Sunset as well, much cheaper. No wonder their parking lot is always packed. Highly recommended.

First time customer. (2003 Infinity FX-35)I am very impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and quality of the work done at this repair shop. I had a very complicated electrical repair that require a great deal of hard work to accomplish. Not only was the car fixed it runs better than ever. (New spark plugs will do that when a car has 130K on same plugs) The shop is clean and organized which also told me it is run well. From my first experience I highly suggest this shop.Steve D.

I strongly recomend Sunset auto, if You want the job done fast and precisely, without paying ridiculous prices like at the other repair places, where they try to rip You off. Lucas is a person to be trusted for sure!!!

Had to get brakes repaired while on vacation. Extremely helpful and did great work. They even stayed open late to finish the job. If you live in the area I strongly recommend them.
