This business diagnosed our son's car saying it needed a new transmission. They supposedly used a computer diagnostic. They told us to get a Volvo certified transmission would be @$6,000. They then offered to "buy" our car, which was in excellent condition. We had the transmission checked at a reputable transmission repair in Naples and were told no, it was not the transmission at all. The problem was electrical via the computer and wiring. We had it repaired by an electric automotive repair in Naples for a reasonable amount. Do not trust this business and get a second opinion on any quote. They were basically fraudulent in their information.

Tricia is always available for emergencies or general service. Very accommodating and fully experienced with Volvo's! I wouldn't trust the dealer with my baby, but I trust Auto Clinic!!

Here is my experience with Tricia and Bill the owners of auto clinc. My car was towed to their shop by AAA on a fri evening. On mon a.m. I receive a call from Tricia telling me that my tow hook cover was missing from my car.She had called the tow company and had been told the driver left it in the car.The tow car co.was not accepting responsibility so I placed a claim with AAA.The charge was going to be $98 for a new cover.I picked my car up on Thursday after a $958.00 charge for a new fuel pump and also paid for the replaced tow hook cover.I was awaiting a call from AAA in the next 7 to 10 days regarding my claim. After I had picked up my car from the shop I went grocery shopping and low and behold I found my tow hook cover in my back seat as I was removing groceries.I immediately called Tricia and told her I had found my tow hook cover, after a short conversation she agreed to reimburse me for the cover.I told her I would be in the area on fri.and would stop by the shop.On arrival to the shop on fri.I was told by Tricia that Bill had decided to not refund my money only saying they had looked everywhere in the car on mon. and could not find it .Basically saying I was lying (for what reason I have no idea) as I had a claim with AAA and I was not going to lie to AAA and say the tow co. was still responsible.I was called a a by Bill as he continued to berate me outside the shop. That man is very dishonest and instead of maintaining a good and ethical business , he feels the need to berate a women over $82.00(they had reduced the original amt.because I notified Tricia I had checked with the Volvo parts dept and that they would charge only $58 for a new tow cover) STAY AWAY at all costs.I have now placed a dispute charge with AM EX. Tricia s account of the incident is totally untruthful. If my going to the shop after she said she was refunding me for the cover and me saying it was b s because her husband changed his mind is profanity ,I would say that was quite a stretch, but I understand she does not like criticism about their business and was embarrassed by her husbands behavior. Her husband said your a to me directly and was standing in front of my car when he said it.He said that after I told him I would file a claim with Am Ex.He was not walking into the building as Tricia claimed.Ihave never in my life used the finger at anyone! As far as saying I would ruin them ,I did say I would post a unfavorable review on the internet but ruin them is far to a dramatic statement. As to not wanting to spend money on repairs, who does?My car is 10 years old! The only truthful statement was,I asked if they were calling me a liar?I now more then ever find them truly dishonest people! As my husband said ,you wonder what other things they were being dishonest about?I am not out a penney because of this incident and I wrote this review only so others could be aware of their business practices. If any apology is due, it surely should be from Bill and Tricia for such disrespect and mistreatment of a customer!
